I travel an hour and a half to receive veterinarian care at Animals R Us. I have never been to an animal hospital without having to smell pet odors. This facility is the cleanest Ive patronized! They have several vets on staff. The vet techs are very friendly and personable. Pets R Us have separate rooms for your pet to be examined. The doctor takes time to examine and explain to you whats going on with your fur baby The waiting time in the lobby is short. They have an outside area for your dogs to go potty. Also a fenced-in area to keep them occupied or just to play with. They also offer medication and specialized food for sale if needed. It is a long way to drive but its worth it. The office staff is very efficient and getting an appointment is easy. I would definitely recommend Animals R Us to all pet lovers needing veterinarian assistance. Boarding is also offered.

Animals R Us Veterinary Clinic in Flat Rock North Carolina is the best veterinary service I have ever found! They are super caring about animals and are affordable, too! Dr. Hargus has provided veterinary care to my livestock and pets and I cannot RAVE enough about how considerate and down to earth she and her practice are. There are shortcuts that veterinarians can take in the process of caring for livestock but Dr. Hargus NEVER does this - shes so considerate of each animal, providing pain management and excellent post procedure care. She and her staff are truly amazing! Im so lucky to have found this service. Please do not hesitate to call them if you have a sick or injured animal. Dont hesitate.

I have taken all of my animals here for over 4 years and have spent thousands of dollars. I was denied service today because of a mishap with an unpaid bill, which I did pay immediately when I realized that it had not been paid. I have rescued a dog that is in need of care and the office manager turned myself and this poor dog away because of a mishap with the bill. I would have sang praises for this place before, but because of this situation today I would seriously think twice about giving them your business. I dont understand how you could treat people Iike that when they have made things right and then turn away a poor dog that is in serious need of medical care. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I felt like just a number to them. Every time I called I got some snappy girl who cut me off mid sentence and was very dismissive. I went there about seven times for an on going problem we were having, and every time they suggested the same treatment. No one once thought, "this isnt working, lets try something else". They just took my money, gave me the same pills that didnt work the first time, and sent me on my way. I will say the vets are very friendly and answer any and all questions, but the girls at the front desk are rude and snappy. As soon as I visited another vet they fixed us up on the first visit.

My pet pig needed a mani/pedi but no one would do it. Finally I was referred to Animals R Us in Flat Rock, NC. What an experience! They got the job done fast and my piggy is happy to have it done. I highly recommend Animals R Us for any pet services you may need. The staff here is kind and caring. Your pet will love it here.

Staff are excellent!!! Dr Hargus always goes out of her way to help and truly has a heart of gold. Not a lot of vets will work with small farms but they do!!
