The staff there made my experience impossible. Youre a number there instead of a person. I left messages with Dr. Leahys medical assistant asking to be scheduled for surgery, as instructed by Dr. Leahy, with no response whatsoever. After waiting more than a month for my scheduled appointments, I get a call in the afternoon on two separate occasions the day before my scheduled appointments telling me I need a referral from my primary care physician, which theyve already had. I was billed $300 for xrays and told by the staff that the insurance didnt pay because they didnt have a referral from my primary care physician, which they told me they had prior to my first visit with Dr. Leahy. The office is in disarray. I asked for Dr. Leahy to call me in order to let him know about what is going on in the office, and I sent an email to the office. Either the office staff are hiding my grievances, or Dr. Leahy doesnt care about the problems in the office. I would find it hard to believe that I am the only one treated this way by the office staff, and it is inexcusable. In my 49 years, I have NEVER had a problem with a physician or their staff. With this office, it was one problem after the next. I was impressed with Dr. Leahy the one time I saw him, and I do believe he is a good surgeon otherwise my primary care physician would not have sent me to him. My back specialist M.D. also told me he is a good surgeon. Ill never find out because Ive found another surgeon.

I was in Dr. Leahys Tomball office today and was a little apprehensive going to my appt. after reading some of the negative reviews online.....NOTHING could be further from the truth!....ALL office personnel from Sherry the night before encouraging me to use the Portal (which actually turned to be easy to use) to the Nurse who took me to the back to the Nurse who gave me an X-RAY to the P.A. John Mcmonigle who explained everything about my condition to Jody who scheduled my surgery to Brittany who checked me out and setup my next appt. in The Woodlands to Tia (who works with Jody)-----------were ALL VERY EXCEPTIONAL CARING PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.....It was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE......I had a 8:45am appt.----went back at 08:30-----and out by 9:15 or so.......This was a 5-STAR EXPERIENCE.......I felt like all the people cared about me and came away feeling VERY HAPPY with the experience and my future surgery......I will post another review after my surgery......ALSO I talked to several people (some from out of state) about their experience with the office personnel and Dr. Leahy so far their experience has been my experience........Thanks everyone for a great office visit!

After seeing a different doctor for almost two years and countless injections and tests, we finally decided to get a second opinion. Dr.Leahy. Was so caring and informative. We had trouble getting the surgery scheduled but once we did it was a success. I had to watch my husband suffer for 2 years and now he is slowly gaining his strength back and has little pain.( mainly after PT its painful) I can never thank him enough for listening and helping us.

My Father In Law could not even stand up straight! He was bent over from back pain, and culdnt walk without a walker. This wonderful Dr. did back surgery, and my Father In Law is wonderful, no back pain and remains this way a year and half later!
