Had been going to the same doctor for 30 years. They always asked me for my insurance card even though it had no vision coverage. The price they charged me was always reasonable. This year I showed up with new insurance (through the state exchange) and was told they did not accept that insurance and the visit was going to be about $300 each for my wife and me. I thought it was strange that insurance had an effect on the price at all since my last policy had no vision coverage and we were just going for a yearly check up. It appears that for the past 30 years, maybe less, insurance fraud has been being committed all along. I never went with any problems yet this group was submitting and collecting from an insurance company when they should not have been. Thats wrong.

I called to make an appointment and it was like pulling teeth to get her to talk to me! She was eating in my ear and I could hear her drinking whatever. She kept telling me to hold on (I guess she was taking another bite of whatever she was eating). She kept asking me if my insurance covered eye appointments and kept asking specifics of my insurance when all she needed was my group number and insurance ID. Who hires these types of people???? That was 10 minutes of a waste of my time today. I finally got frustrated and hung up on her.

You better have plenty of time cause the receptionist doesnt care to work on her time management skills, and if you say something about it youll be confronted. People with earlier appointments that show up half hour late still went in before us. Been here twice, both times 30 minutes after appointment we were seen. Wont be back, hope this helps someone. At this point Ive been here an hour & still no doctor. Doc is great, but needs better help up front.
