He is a fraud to be direct and nice. I took my son in back in January 2015 because his eyes did not line up when he looked extreme left or right. I give Dr. Miller credit for his diagnosis of a muscle palsy. However his only solution was surgery within the next 3 months max to fix my sons eyes. We got 2nd opinions. One was Dr. Gunderson in Clear lake, tx. While she agreed surgery was a solution she said his vision is good so we should wait. Additionally, Dr. Miller said he was going to tighten the lower muscles. She said that is crazy, we only losen muscles. Then we went to Dr. Coats with TX Childrens Hospital. The funny part is Dr. Coats was Dr. Millers teacher during residency. When we gave him the breakdown, he was in shock as well. He is like surgery should be held off till he is 10/11 or until he has vision issues of seeing straight. Dr. Coats gave us the option of vision therapy in the meantime to strengthen the eyes and said we will monitor him, but he may aviod surgery all together if he can get his aim on his eyes perfected. I wish no one to go through the trama and fear to get surgery right away. I have never seen a doctor give so much pressure for surgery when other options exist. Very sad! I can recommend his diagnosis, but that is about it!

Be very weary of this practice. Wife had a test completed at this facility, turned out they didnt have the necessary equipment to complete the tests for her before she was scheduled to surgery. We paid and our insurance was billed for the exam and scheduled an appointment for the woodlands location. Once there, she was given the necessary test that they couldnt do in Tomball PLUS the one she just had completed in Tomball and not only billed our insurance again, but billed us again. With less than 45 days between tests being given, you just cant do that. Spoke to their billing department to try and get some resolution, where they told me they "billed correctly" and couldnt/wouldnt do anything. I have to question their billing practices, and also question why they had to do a test they just completed weeks before. Just make sure you pay close attention to what you are billed for.

Everything about our visit was excellent. There wasnt an appointment for a new patient for a month, but when the secretary heard about my 4 year old sons stye that wouldnt go away, she fit us in that day. We couldnt make it untill the next day, and were late, but the office worked with us. We had to wait a while, being a fit in appointment, but it wasnt that bad. There was plenty for kids to do in the waiting room, and the assistant and Dr. Miller were wonderful with my shy little boy. They answered my questions fully and explained everything they said. We have another appointment in a month. And Dr. Miller is the best looking doctor Ive ever seen. When he walked in and said hi, I couldnt respond for a second because my mouth wanted to hang open. Were BOTH looking forward to his next appointment!!! :)

Weve been seeing Dr. Miller for 4 years now. My daughter has amblyopia. Shes a -6.00 in one eye and a -18.50 in the other. When we first saw Dr. Miller, she couldnt see more than 3 feet in front of her with her bad eye. We started a treatment of contacts, glasses and patching. Its been 4 years. Her good eye is 20/20 with correction and her bad eye is 20/40! Dr. Miller and his staff are all excellent. He is in high demand so its hard to get an appointment especially if you are a new patient, but he is worth the wait. Also, plan on long wait times when youre seeing him. Bring things to keep your kiddos busy.

I have a 12 year old daughter who has a rubber band behind her eye (Browns Syndrome). The surgery was done by the original dr. in Alaska. Dr. Miller was well educated in my daughters situation and provided us comfort and care. He also notified us that she should not be wearing glasses...another dr here in Tomball prescribed last year. My "mommy gut" told me last year she did not need them and I was correct. Dr. Miller was thorough and reassuring.

Dr. Miller has performed 4 procedures on our daughter to help with a challenging eye issue. He is the BEST pediatric eye surgeon period. We have had nothing but great experiences using him and HEA. Dr Miller has been our daughters opthamologist for 6 years and will continue with no hesitation. Thanks to everyone at HEA and Dr Miller for all that you do and know that we truly appreciate your attention to detail and caring ways.

I am visually impaired and my driver got me there 18 minutes late. I told them my situation and they said they have other visually impaired clients and the doctor said he is sticking to his policy. If I could have found the building number I would have been 12 minutes late. It was my first visit for my daughter.

Very knowledgeable doctor and staff. A little busy at times, but worth the wait. Will not go anywhere else with my son. Very patient, kind, doctor. He comes very highly recommended by many, so call in advance when you need an appointment.
