Since I moved to Ypsilanti, MI, in 1990, the staff at Ypsilanti Animal Clinic has provided care for my 11 cats (no worries, I didnt have them all at one time ;) I thank Dr. Glencer for maintaining a well run veterinary service and Dr. Kunoff for being the primary caregiver for my cats. I have never had any reason to consider taking my pets elsewhere* He, Dr. Glencer, and the handful of other vets who have treated my cats have always taken the time to talk through various courses of action when a health issue has been detected; I have always been lead to making decisions that are in the best interest of my cats well being. *Even when the scope of care for one of my cats and one of my guinea pigs was outside of what Ypsilanti Animal Clinic is equipped to do, I was provided with recommendations for where I could take Kip and Jiffy for specialized medical attention; again, this helped me make a best-interest decision which resulted in both pets recovering. Lastly, the medical and front office staff members are all very caring through the good times and the bad, and that in itself speaks highly of these folks! I definitely recommend Ypsilanti Animal Clinic!

My family and I have only lived in the Ypsilanti area for about 2 years now. When we moved here we were unsure of what vet to take our German Shepherd to. So naturally we did some looking around and went to other cities like Ann Arbor and Canton and in the end we ended up back in Ypsilanti. YAC is by far the best vet that we have ever taken any animal that we have ever owned to. My dog tends to have stomach issues so when a problem arises YAC always find a way to see her, or if we dont need an appointment and just need a refill of a prescription they have it ready for us to pick up in no time. I work in customer service, so naturally when I go places I look for others peoples customer service skills and I have yet to meet ANYONE at YAC that does not have a friendly demeanor. Thank you YAC for all that you do for my family!!

Our first trip to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic could not have been better! Our dog, Jack, had an ear infection and Dr. Kalcki and the staff took great care of him. When we walked in the door we were greeted right away and they had his paperwork ready to go. The girls at the counter were super friendly. We were in a room before we could even sit down in the waiting area. My first impression was that the office and exam room were well organized and clean. The tech came in, took some info and said the doctor would be right in. And she was! Within minutes they had examined his ears, taken samples and had an answer for us. Dr. Kalicki explained what was going on with his ears, and exactly how we were going to treat it. She answered my questions and we were on our way! I would highly recommend Ypsilanti Animal Clinic!

I have been taking my pets (cats & dogs) to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic for almost 30 years, I have had only the best care over all those years. Dr. Glencer has taken care of some very sick and injured pets of ours over the years and has always took time to talk to us and give us the best advice he could. When the time came to let one of our pets go, I am not sure which one of us cried more, him or us. Dr. Kunoff, who started at YAC around 2001 is also a great Dr, he to has spent a lot of time with our cats and dogs and like Dr. Glencer has given them excellent care. All of the staff at YAC are the best, the really care about every animal that comes in the door. You could not ask for any better care then what you get at YAC, thats why I have been going to YAC since 1983.

Ypsilanti Animal Clinic has the best vets in Ypsi. The veterinarians are always upfront about treatment options and cost. I always feel like they are trying to give me the best price without sacrificing the care of our dogs. I have had a number of animals and been to a lot of vets who I felt took advantage by adding unnecessary things to pad the bill. Not the case here at all- so refreshing! I have even had phone consultations with the vet directly as follow up to avoid an unnecessary visit. They have performed x-rays, urine analysis, and surgery for our dogs all in house and immediately without being scheduled to wait more than a day or two.The staff is also friendly. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a great affordable local vet.

We love Ypsilanti Animal Clinic. The entire staff is so pleasant on the phone and in person, Maria, Mariah, Chrissy, and Connie are so kind, and Dr. Peter Kunoff is amazing with our puppy; Maize. From the moment we brought our Golden Retriever puppy in at 9 weeks old, he has received the best care, hands down. Puppies are very expensive but I feel that Y.A.C. prices for care are reasonable/affordable. I can feel the love that the staff has for all animals and really appreciate the customer service they provide, it reassures me that our sweet boy is in good care. Thanks Y.A.C., youre all great at what you do and it doesnt go unnoticed. We will refer friends/family in the area to your office. :) - Caitlin and Dave

Very friendly and calm staff. My "Rescue cat" gets such in-depth exams by the Dr.s when her only good eye bangs into a piece of furniture, etc., it really calms ME down to see what great care is taken with her. I have had my own pets and a handful of Rescue animals seen at this Veterinary Clinic and I am always impressed and pleased when I leave. Such kind, caring and educated people at this clinic. I just cant put it into words. You must experience it. Many thanks to these folks for being there for all the strange things Rescue animals have creep up in their health as well as being so proficient in their work that I can relax KNOWING that my animals are in the best hands.

Their head vet is wonderful. However, I found their staff to be incredibly inappropriate. I brought in a kitten who had really bad ringworm for them to board and treat--I have another animal, and Im a care-taker. Anyway, they were boarding my kitten and I got several phone calls and emails from one of their vet techs asking if she could HAVE my kitten! Excuse me? I was paying the vet for a service, and to try and make sure my other animal didnt get sick either, and they were allowing an employee to call me asking if she could keep my pet? "Oh, maam, Im the owner of the day care center you send your son to...hes really cute, I was wondering if I could keep him?" Ridiculous.

We have been using Ypsilanti Animal Clinic since we moved to the area 18 years ago. We appreciate the time and care all of the staff provides. Our first dog lived to the age of 16 and we received such excellent and compassionate care for him. When we got another dog a few years later we thought of going no where else. The doctors take time to answer all of your questions when offering treatment options for your pet. We dont feel pressured and can make decisions that are best for our pet and our family. They are super helpful with answering questions over the phone as well. I definitely recommend this veterinary practice.
