I grew up with pets all my life. A good family friend was a vet and he took care of all of our animals. When he was no longer healthy enough to practice, I panicked. He was the only one who truly loved my pets as much as I did. On a recommendation, I made an appointment with Dunckel Vets. My fears quickly vanished. The staff at Dunckel truly loved my animals too. From Dr. Wright who will see Luxy even when she turns into the devil, to Kris who held my hand as I put down my beloved Menue, to Pat who is Snickers favorite groomer, to Dr. Dunckel who cropped Jasmines ears perfectly, to Christe who went over the top when the family was having financial difficulties and made sure the animals still had the medicine they needed, to all the ladies at the front desk who makes even unreasonable requests (can you get them in right now) seem like we are the only people they are there to serve. I cannot send enough praise to this awesome organization. My job recently required a relocation two hours south of Davison. I am not looking for a new vet down here. I will continue to make that drive north because of the incredible people and unparalleled service we get at Dunckel Vet. You guys ROCK!!!

I took my dog to the groomers here and received such horrible service I will never be back. I dropped my dog off at 9am. She was the first dog there. I received a call at 330 pm stating they were working on her. I showed up a little after four to pick her up. So not only did this take 7 hours, the customer service I received was horrible. I was greeted by a woman who started the conversation with " I wasnt the one who cut her" I didnt immediately look at my dog because I was distracted by her then saying "she probably has to go outside, we havent taken her out" WHAT. MY DOG WAS THERE FOR SEVEN HOURS AND NOT TAKEN OUT, GIVEN FOOD OR WATER. For being a place that specializes in the care of animals they should know better. Back to the cut she received, it was uneven, they didnt even remove her collar so the fur around her neck is much longer. They actually CUT her eyelashes, the entire cut is uneven. The fur on her face looks like it was cut with school scissors. I do not recommend that you take your dog here. This place isnt interested in the care of your animal only in making money.

I just got back from this office and I am overwhelmed but the kindness of their staff-- specifically the vet tech Robin and Dr. Wark. I brought in 3 energetic rescue puppies to get their vaccines and they were treated like like little princes and princesses. They were organized, friendly and compassionate. One thing I often encounter with rescuing a certain breed is a strong bias. Many judge dogs based on breed or appearance. But Robin got down on the ground and hugged my fosters as if they were his own kids. That means A LOT to me. And Dr. Wark fixed one fosters ear free of charge which has never happened at the vet where Ive taken fosters before. Ive been to probably 10 vets in the area and every vet in Davison and after today I would definitely recommend taking your pet to see Dr. Wark and Robin at Dunckel-- a good vet is more than just a service and a price, its also a passion and these two are definitely passionate about pets. Thank you!

Im sure this place is fine, but my experience was not good. I took off work thinking there was no way Id be home in time when taking my guinea pig to get looked at for her slanted head, which is a common sign for an ear infection in guinea pigs. She was also going blind in one eye. I spent a total of 20 minutes in and out of this place, including the 2 minutes the vet spent looking at her and giving me antibiotics. Well, $70 later, I now have a guinea pig who is blind in both eyes and fully deaf. If the vet bothered to try to think of another cause to her head tilt, which is still completely present, maybe she couldve been given some medication that wouldve prevented this from happening. Maybe nothing couldve stopped her from becoming Helen Keller, but it wouldve been nice if she seemed to care about the animals shes working on. Oh, and totally couldve still made it to work.

Dunckel is not our regular vet, but we brought our dog there for a procedure and I am very glad we did. I appreciate that the staff was knowledgeable and professional and took the time to educate us on the procedure and after care. Also, they were very thorough and up front with pricing! Which is amazing because it seems like every other vet Ive been to, its a guessing game as to what the bill will be...Also, we had a concern about the surgical site a few days after the procedure, so we brought him back and they got us in and took care of us right away with no appointment. I would definitely recommend this vet and if we lived closer I would love for them to be our regular vet. Thank you Dr. Dunckel and staff for the wonderful care! :)

I met Dr. Dunckel years ago when I still had my pot-bellied pig, Winnie. He had the awesome (haha) to spay my sweet girl who at the time weighed 150 lbs! I had been away from Dunckel Vet for a few years when my Great Dane, Blaze, developed a pinched nerve in her neck. I ran into Robin-one of the vet techs at church and talked to him about Blazes problem. Robin showed a lot of concern and told me to call and get an appointment for my dog. I did. Robin was wonderful with my very timid pup and I was equally as happy with the care Dr. Wright provided. They were wonderful any and every time I called with a question. I am very happy with all of the service I have received at Dunckel Vet Hopsital.

We have been with Dunckel for several years. We have always had great service. Recently our Golden Doodle Daisy had to have a knee replacement. The staff was so helpful through the long process. Now 6 months later you would never know she had anything wrong. She is happy and healthy Thanks to Dunckel Veterinary Hospital. Also a special Thank You to Robin who was always there when we needed him, and to Dr. Wright for performing the replacement. Thank You to the whole staff from Pat in grooming who transforms Daisy from a matted mess back to our beautiful puppy, to the always friendly ladies at the front desk. Thank You All
