Here are the facts: I first came to this location as a new patient in late 2012 with United Health Care insurance. This place was a few minutes away from our apartment at the time, so it seemed like a good fit. The very first visit, they took x-rays without examining me. Its "protocol" for new patients, but Ive never had a dentist take x-rays until I was being evaluated for braces. They also congratulated me on never having had cavities before. I told them that I actually had 4 cavities filled in, but to be fair, they were small, and I had a highly skilled cosmetic dentist growing up. But still...a good dentist should be able to tell whether or not youve had cavities, you would think? 6 months later, I showed up for a cleaning. They kept me waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time and kept calling people ahead of me. I complained several times, and then when the dentist finally came out, he apologized and said he had an "emergency" patient. Cool, thanks for letting me know 50 minutes into my lunch hour instead of asking whether I would like to reschedule or even see one of the other available dentists! They tried taking x-rays again, and they scolded me for not coming back sooner. I told them that I had just been there 6 months ago, and I didnt want MORE x-rays! They looked at my records and apologized; they had misread the year! 7 months later, I scheduled an appointment for after work. I showed up right on the dot, and they said, your appointment was an hour ago. I calmly told them that I would never had scheduled appointment for an hour earlier, since I dont even get out of work until a certain time. They said I could wait 10 or 15 minutes and be seen. A half hour later, I asked them whether I could get my x-rays sent to a new dentist, since they STILL hadnt seen me, and they didnt ask me again whether I would like to reschedule or see someone else--and they hadnt bothered to call me when I didnt "show up" an hour ago. They told me it would be $20. I just walked out right there and then. If you have health insurance dont bother with this chain!!!

by far the best dentist Ive ever been to, Ive been putting off getting work done for years because Ive had so many bad experiences in the past with dentists trying to bleed me dry for every penny I didnt have..i had a tooth that needed emergency repair and checked with falcon dental first (I live in falcon Colorado) and I went in and they immediately tried to sit me down and bill me $480 for one filling and an additional filling for a cavity that doesnt seem to exist....I walked out of comfort dental on palmer park and powers set back $223.00 and for that I got the filling, a full exam, 1 full years worth of coverage on their gold plan (which is beyond reasonable) and a plan to have all of my past due dental work done...the staff was friendly, they treated my teeth and mouth as if it were mine not theres to do as they pleased with, they listened and did an excellent job...Im excited to finally get all of the work done that I need done and not be afraid to smile again :-D... the staff was so positive and friendly, they were there to provide an honest service that meets my needs not to line their pockets with gold. thank you comfort dental on palmer park and powers...I honestly mean it, by far the best experience Ive ever had with any dentist in my life...kinda helped restore my faith in the human race... I went to work about an hour after the visit and smiled the whole time and my happiness spread to co-workers and customers alike... I was full of charisma all night and everyone noticed...this is the dentist and staff you want to work on your teeth...I just hope they dont get so swamped with business that they dont have time for me any more lol...this will be my dental team for as long as I live.

I am a recent new patient and have so far been in twice, I have loved all of my experiences here from start to finish; and I only say finish because I am moving out of state. Im really bummed about that too because I know I will be hard pressed to find better or as amazing as the care I received here. I was given care by Dr. Weir both times, and from the moment my appointment began and I expressed my nervousness, he made me feel instantly at ease and was very kind to me. As someone who has anxiety problems, you can imagine going to the dentist is very rough for me. Above all, its not the physical pain I fear, its the possible judgement and lectures that sometimes come from going to a dentist, but I received none of that here. I was told what was wrong, what needed to be done to fix it, and that was that! It was all very straightforward and kind, no judgement or lecture. I appreciated that immensely! He had different assistants both times, but both of them were so sweet, and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and make sure I was okay. The work was also very good! I had to have a couple teeth pulled and a filling. I didnt even feel the teeth being pulled, and the filling went so smoothly! Even the injections I barely felt. I honestly would recommend going here any day of the week, and had such a great experience that I am here writing my very first google review. The entire atmosphere was so positive, and its really nice to see a place that cares about its patients so much. For the first time ever I didnt have a gloomy storm cloud of dread hanging over me from having to go to a dentist!

This by far is the worst dental experience ever! I check into my appointment 15 minutes early like they had told me to. After filling out the paperwork about 15 minutes later the front desk lady comes out and says that they were not able to verify my insurance because the insurance company is already closed for the day. I explained to her that theyve already obtained my insurance information and that they were supposed to verify it already since I had a 6 pm appointment. She told me that it wasnt done and that I would either need to pay for cash services or reschedule my appointment I explained to her that I wasnt paying anything. She talked to the doctor and he agreed to see me without verifying my insurance. After an hour of waiting I went to ask the front desk what was taking so long for me to be seen. A few seconds go by and another girl comes out from the front desk and says that it is completely her fault and she is sorry that she forgot to give the dentist my paperwork. Lets talk about being extremely pissed off with that person. I have not been this livid in a very very long time. I get back and see the dentist they do a bunch of x-rays he does a quick exam and because their office was closing at 7:30 said that I would need to make another appointment to get a cleaning. Lets talk about me being even more pissed off right now. It is no quarter to eight I havent seen my kids all day because I wasted all my time at the dentist office who is extremely disorganized! I am so over it right now!
