My experience at NuSmile Dental was absolutely terrible. I will not be coming back and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I just saw my regular dentist in September while I was visiting family in Ohio. For the few days prior to my appointment on October 21, I was having minor gum irritation where one of my wisdom teeth used to be. The only reason I made this appointment was for this specific issue. The staff turned it into much more than I was asking for. I asked to be seen by a Matthew Jackson when I was scheduling my appointment. I did not see this dentist even when I asked to see him prior and during my actual appointment. Since the staff turned it into much more than I was asking for I immediately got the vibe that the only thing the NuSmile Dental staff were interested in was taking my money by selling any products they could and telling me I had more problems with my teeth. I was just at my regular dentist in September (who I have been going to for a long time), so how do these problems magically happen in a month? The dentist I did see was a man who went to school in Pittsburgh. He did not seem to care very much about my teeth because he was in and out of that room very quick. He did nothing that my regular dentist does every time I come in to see him no matter what the problem might be. The dental hygienist that took care of me was named Petra. She wanted to take a few x-rays to get a better look at my teeth and ended up taking at least 20 x-rays. I do not understand why she took so many because other dentists usually take 4-5. She started taking measurements of my teeth and found an area where possible bacteria could be growing and wanted to do a deep cleaning on that tooth. I told her no because my insurance did not cover it and I will go to my regular dentist to get it looked at since I trusted him more. Even though I said I had to go and I did not ask for this she still gave me a regular small cleaning. As she was cleaning my teeth, toothpaste and water were spewing all over my face and clothes. She did not put eye protective gear on me either like dentist offices are required to do now. She did not seem to care when I told her that water and toothpaste were getting all over me. Water got all over my shirt from her not properly using the liquid suction tool. At one point I was holding the liquid suction tool and I feel that is absolutely unprofessional. I felt like she was still in school for dental hygiene and definitely not ready for the field. Like I said I will not be coming back and I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

This doctor will not even look in your mouth. I am a dental assistant and I went in there with different family members, for my sister she didnt even open the instrument pack or look in her mouth. Dr Oneal does not even do fillings...either you need a crown=EXPENSIVE, dentures=EXPENSIVE, or extraction + implants=EXPENSIVE. Furthermore she has her "main coordinator" (who are NOT dentists) diagnose you before you even meet the doctor.This is like going to your doctor for possible cancer treatment and the lady at the front desk giving you a diagnosis. (i know this is an extreme analogy, but the point remains the same) My mother is on blood thinners and was told she needed extractions, too bad they never did a medical history on her (and needed to take the teeth out right then and there in fear of never getting her money) and my mother sat there and bled for hours because she was not told to be off of them before having extractions done. Had I been there for my mothers appointment I would have had a fit. For my poor mothers dearest friend, she went to the office about 3 years ago, they told her she needed a crown (who knows if that was even the case, anyhow) they left this patient who was a regular in a temporary crown for 3 years and when the office finally was ready to give her the permanent crown, it did not fit. (which is bound to happen after years of resorption in the mouth) So you know what they did right? CHARGED HER FOR A NEW CROWN!!!!! I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this office. They are money hungry and are more interested in their pockets and expanding rather than the care of their patients. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD. Everyone should beware of places like this.

I usually dont write reviews but I really want to warn people about this place so they can read this and avoid the HELL! I got a root canal done here about 8 months ago, tomorrow Im going into an emergency dental office to have this tooth THE DENTISTS AT NUSMILE worked on, completely removed. Paying out of my own pocket for their mistake!! I have severe dental abscess due to the lack of caring how they put my crown on & at this point the pain is so bad I dont even want the damn tooth in my mouth. Its a pretty bad infection.. There goes over $1000. When I had my wisdom teeth removed here their surgeon cracked one of my teeth while in procedure.. I addressed the dentist here about it & he lied to my face & told me it was a cavity. I know a crack from a cavity Im not an idiot. I also had 2 other crowns placed here about 7 months ago & to this day they still hurt & are very sensitive to just about everything.. I could write a book about what the dentist did to me just to get one of those crowns on, lets just say I left the office CRYING in pain from her sticking me with the anesthesia needle about 12-13 times, still feeling every bit of pain.. The money I spent here I feel like I got robbed. About $7000 went to this horrid place & its been about 8 months later & I cant even eat soft food.. Im not exaggerating any of this in the slightest.. They dont care about how you feel or making you comfortable, just money hungry, uneducated "dentists".. All they care about is how youre making your next payment.. Ive often thought about filing a lawsuit.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY, this is your warning!

I have currently filed a complaint with the professional regulations Board for quality assurance and filing suit against Dr Nadia Oneal. Dr ONEAL has a complaint filed in the past and been arrested for fraud. The worst year of my life was spent in her office. I was forced to walk around for al.ost a year in pain, headaches and gums bleeding. The irony you is I never had pain in my life, my teeth were gorgeous. My pain started when I had three fillings put in, they carved my teeth down and kept me in pain until I went to another dentist and he arrested the pain immediately. It was interesting to read my chart. When a doctor cant admit mistakes, falsified, you know they didnt learn from mistake and will do it to someone else. My experience was beyond aweful, it was a horror story. Lastly, they refused to give my records to two dentist offices for continuity of care. When I finally did get me chart it wasnt my entire chart and the note was changed from March 13 2015 and rewritten in July at 12 : 45. Ironic, I demanded my chart in July.
