Overall-- not worth it. Too many bad experiences not outweighed by good ones. Top 4 bad: 1) had to literally pull my dog away from one of their groomers as I saw her being too rough with her; 2) questionable vet competency as evidenced by complete misdiagnosis of kidney failure. the vet gave her ~ 6 mos to a year to live and shes still with us 3 yrs later (lots of unnecessary tears and we added another dog to the house thinking she would no longer be with us); 3) more evidence of questionable vet competency - they prescribed this medicine for the dogs kidney failure at ~ $50 month. After one year of taking it, I asked about any research to support its use only to be told that there wasnt really any research because it was really only a supplement, not an actual medication. $600 in their pocket for a supplement with no research efficacy other than the vet saying that she "thinks it works"????? And finally, 4) "Im not just sitting around here twiddling my thumbs." Yep- thats a quote from one of the vets. One of our dogs had staples put in and they fell out in the late afternoon. Concerned, I called and the secretary said that vet on duty would call me back in the evening. Not hearing anything all night, I took my dog there that next morning, saw the same vet who was supposed to call, and when I asked about why she didnt call- thats what she said. Not sure which vet school she went to but I would think that they would cover that in a class (customer service 101). So, weve definitely switched.

JVC is full of kind, warm and compassionate people that truly care about animals of all shapes and sizes. Their prices are competitive if not cheaper than other vets I have visited. We have taken our dogs here for years and have had the pleasure of seeing several of the doctors and have spoken to all of the staff. We have experienced happy checkups, illnesses with our dogs, surgeries and even a bout with cancer. With the recent loss of one of our dogs, I cannot make a higher recommendation for these folks. From the beginning of diagnosis to the end of the pain, we could not have had a better experience with the doctors and staff. They loved my cancer-stricken puppy more than me if thats even possible! They even handled the cremation and billing with the utmost professional behavior and most importantly, LOVE. Thanks to all of them I will continue taking my pets there forever. CD

This Vet service is GREAT. Besides the every day services, they have a FREE picture day with Santa every year, their staff is loving and supportive, and overall fantastic. They have gone from one Doctor to 5 in the last two years and are always available in a pinch. They are the best in the area. I have had three Dogs and two cats at the Vet clinic over the past 3 years. We actually left another clinic as the staff was not very polite, like they are at JVC. All the Docs are professional and kind and they all have animals of their own. I was also surprised to find out that many of them have rescue animals as well. The clinic donates money to a lot of animal charities both local and in the surrounding areas. JVC is the best in the area. Stop in and meet the staff, introduce your pet and see the difference.

My relationship with JVC began in 2014 when I started fostering for a local rescue and they were the practice the rescue used. Many of the dogs I have fostered have been ill and have required ongoing treatment, over time I built a relationship with the staff. Ultimately I left a practice I had been a client at for 14 years and decided to make the switch brining my own pets to JVC as well. I always have known that my pets are in the very best of hands and both our pets and our family have been treated with compassion. JVC has seen us through from new puppy/kitten care to the end of the journey with senior pets and terminally ill pets. Almost a year ago I joined their team on the other side of the counter have been honored to be part of such a kind, caring, compassionate group of people.

Between 6-8 hours for responses or return phone calls. Took two days to get pain meds filled for a dying dog because "we forgot you called to fill them". We almost had to amputate our other dogs leg when they wrapped a splint too tight and gave him gangrene. Hours are good but not worth it. They obviously dont care based on past experience. Update: 5/6/17 we were denied an application to rescue a dog because they gave misinformation to a rescue shelter.

JVC is the ONLY place i trust with my dog, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, their pricing is very fair for the service you get and MOST IMPORTANTLY: THEY ARE VERY HONEST and caring. i drive 45 minutes out of my way to go to jvc!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VET CENTER!!! my dog is alive today because of their correct diagnosis and forever i am grateful!!!!!!! thanks Dr.Hubbard, Ms.Michele and the rest of the friendly staff!!

Dr. Morgan is the BEST. She is so kind and caring. She goes above and beyond to help figure out whats wrong with my furbabies. Shes called the house asking how they are when they have been under the weather. The only negative thing I could say about the place is that sometimes it takes way too long to check out.
