While this veterinary practice might cost more than other local veterinarians (or so Ive been told), the staff are very nice and helpful. Im not from Lebanon, so I was used to higher prices. This place is a lot like my previous vet in York, PA was back when they were a great place...before they became intensely greedy. Hopefully that wont happen to this office because I like the place and, more importantly, my pets are fine with the veterinarians (my dog actually likes the place). Feb 2013 EDIT: I just took my two cats in because the new one apparently had a cold and the other one of course caught it too. The vet recommended a shot for each, which was more than I wanted to pay, but did it anyway just in case my little guys would get worse. After we got home my mom decided to research the medication the cats were given and discovered it can have dangerous side effects. While any drug may have side effects, since this one (Convenia) was a shot, you cannot stop medicating after a reaction or get the drug out of the animals system. I was not told this drug was a debatable medication, and never again will I allow ANY of my pets to be given it in the rare case something goes wrong. My two guys are fine, but I am not very happy after this recent vet visit because of both the bill (the price for the visit went up too) and the lack of information about the medication.

I took my cat here because he looked really sick and the vet that I always use did not answer the phone. Found out that my cat had crystallization in his bladder and was told that he would need to be in the hospital there for 3 days. I got a call the next morning telling me that my cat had a bad reaction to the anesthesia that was used and he had passed away the previous night. My cat has been under anesthesia twice before this experience and he didnt have any problems either time. Just seemed sketchy to me seeing as he was only a year old and was under before. I can honestly say I will never come back here.

BEWARE! This group of vets are out for your money and will rob you blind! My dog needed seizure medicine and they expected me to pay $24 for 60 pills [a months supply]. I found the same medicine could be purchased (with a vet script) at CVS for $8.63 for 100 pills. I asked the vet to write a prescription and he said Id have to pay $26 for each prescription he writes. Unethical price gouging! Needless to say, I found a new vet and she writes prescriptions for free (plus the exam she performs on the dog is much more thorough).

Both my dog Mani and my cat Zeni are very well taken care of by the staff and Dr. Brummel. I love the way that they make you and your pets feel special! The best animal clinic, I recommend!
