I found Unity after an experience at another nearby vet that I was very unhappy and dissatisfied with. Without my cats even being current "patients" or even a promise to become future patients, I had been able to speak directly to the vet about the concerns I had with a recent ultrasound done on what of my cats. The doctor review the ultrasound images I emailed her and within 24 hours I heard back from her with 2nd opinion. I was just amazed at the wonderful customer service the office and doctor provided that day and every day since then. Recently, I had to make the very hard decision to have one of my cats put to sleep due to a mass/tumor found by Unity doctors after other doctors misdiagnosed and quoted me thousands for unnecessary things. It was unfortunate, but I was extremely thankful to have found out early enough to where I still was able to spend the last few months with my cat with a different outlook knowing his time was limited. When it came time, the entire staff (especially the doctor) was so comforting during our last visit. You could just see how genuinely sad and sorry they were for us. This was the first time I have ever had to do that with a pet, and it was very hard for me. Two days later I had a condolence card in the mail with a handwritten message inside from the doctor herself. Unity will always be the only vet I ever go to. They feel like extended family, and I know they actual care. In life you really need to love what you do to be the best, and it is crystal clear the staff and doctors at Unity are the best! My husband and I discovered Unity through acquaintances at the dog park we frequent. We were pleased with our current vet at the time, but never really felt like we had a connection with the people there or that we could really take the time to discuss our dogs health with his doctor. We decided to try Unity to see how we felt about it and, after that first visit, without hesitation, made them our new vets. The facility is warm and inviting, and all the amenities are modern and clean. The staff are friendly and affable, and our vet in particular is willing to listen to our concerns and offer sound advice and solutions. Dr. Schutzman is clearly more interested in the health and well being of our dog than in running tests or performing procedures to pad the bill. She is clearly happy to be doing what she does for a living, and her excitement and enthusiasm helps our dog feel at ease, even when hes being poked and prodded and inspected. Most of all, the membership option that Unity offers has already helped us immensely. Knowing that our annual physical and booster shots are already covered by the membership fee is a weight off our minds and our wallets. However, knowing that our membership gives us discounts on emergency services and additional medical procedures makes those tough decisions concerning our four-legged family member all that much easier. We would absolutely recommend Unity to anyone in the area looking for a new veterinarian.

I was turned down by 2 vets, 1 being Petsmart-Benfield when my dog Jax while running after a deer landed on a up-right stick that punctured his inner thigh. A dime size hole & I didnt know how deep. Unity was my third call however, I wish they were my first... it would of saved me much anxiety...Dee & Kathy worked hard to get Jax in their tight schedule as did Dr. Abby Shutzmans thorough exam determining after a x-ray Jax didnt need surgery. Maradeith(?) their nurse is awesomeness!! Jax came out smiling. I was given 2 options both extremely low cost. We are now members and part of a Great Group. A must for anyone who loves their Dog!! I am so happy to have found Unity!!!! We started bringing our dogs and my foster dogs here when they first opened and I cannot say anything by wonderful things about the staff! They are so caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I could not be happier with the services that they have provided for all of the dogs I have brought there! Their prices for their membership cannot be beat! Cannot complain about reasonable prices and amazing service! I recommend them to everyone!!!!

We have 3 dogs and 2 cats who are very happy patients at Unity. Its the first vet where I havent experienced the fainting spell when I see the bill! More importantly, our animals are very relaxed and well cared for at Unity. Our new puppy even slept through her first vaccine! Drs. Schutzman and Trow are highly competent , thorough and honest. They did a fantastic job removing my dogs enlarged spleen and large tumor only one day after it was discovered at another vet. The price was also thousands less than a special animal hospital would have run. Service and compassion was great. Weve found a new vet for the future!
