Our little chihuahua/terrier mix had a broken femur on her right hind leg, the vet sent us home with our broken dog and no splint on the leg. We needed to find someone almost immediately to get her treated, as the vet sent us home without proper long term care. We live in Logan, and were initially referred to a veterinary orthopedic surgeon in Salt Lake City. We were quoted $1200 for her surgery via the intial vet, which was completely FALSE. Upon calling Dr. Smith (the surgeon in SLC), we were informed that her surgery would cost anywhere from $2500-$5000, when he didnt even see the xrays yet. That was just outrageous and we were sorely tempted to just have the leg amputated due to cost. Dr. Smith even told me that he was going on a cruise and could not do the surgery until either Monday or Tues. That is over 6 days from the initial injury date, and absolutely insane to make a dog wait that long while in massive pain. I called around 45 different vet clinics and animal hospitals (all the way from Northern Utah down to Midvale). Each one told me the same thing: they would most likely refer me back to Dr. Smith, OR that they could try to do the surgery but no promises on not referring me back to Dr. Smith. Finally, I spoke with Sandy at North Ogden Animal Hospital (still a long drive, but worth it if they can do the surgery and save my dogs leg). She gave me a quote of $1600 to pin, or $2000 to plate the leg. (Still, a LOT cheaper then Dr. Smith.) She took the time to even get Dr. Evans on the phone with me to figure out an almost exact cost, and IF he could do the surgery (without the original xrays). They scheduled me the very NEXT DAY!!! Wow! Dr. Evans told me that because my puppys leg was NOT splinted, that she was in dire need of emergency care. I am on bedrest due to SPD during my pregnancy. My doctor has informed me to not even drive longer then 5 minutes. Dr. Evans completely understood and worked with my brother to get the proper care/updates. (This is also why SLC was out of the question) Even during a blizzard, Dr. Evans worked in surgery on my puppy and went beyond what he needed to do. He called me and talked to me at length about our options before even suggesting anything. He isnt a fan of amputation, but suggested it upon seeing the cost and the injury. However, I opted to pay $2300 to get the plates put in and they did the surgery. I got the call an hour ago that my baby is out of surgery, and will be fully functional in 6-8 weeks. He even spent an additional 30 minutes joking around on the phone with me, and informed me that the price might be LESS then $2300. He told me that because the surgery was VERY costly (and not at all difficult) that he tried to save me money as best as he could. (They accept Care Credit) My baby comes home tomorrow. Three total days after the injury. I couldnt ask for a better vet!!! This doctor was fantastic! The entire office was speedy, informative, and fantastic!

This animal hospital is the most awesome place I have ever been for the care of my little Schnoodle, "Ebbie" EVERYONE who works here is the most friendly, caring, polite and VERY sensitive people I have ever met in a animal hospital. They really do care about how you are feeling and your concerns about your pet. We had to put a little doggie down because of a lot of pain and very old and the people here were nearly crying with us because they knew we were terribly broken up about having to put our 15 year family member to sleep. It was a very hard experience for us but the wonderful people working here were so sensitive to our situation that it was a huge help for us. I thank them deeply for that. I will be moving soon to Roy, Utah and I will be continuing to drive to this hospital for my doggies care. I would not even consider going to anyone else unless I had to move out of state for some reason. To everyone who works at this hospital, I say "Thank You" for giving me the peace of mind of knowing that you have my little doggies best interest at the highest level. You are all wonderful! I would NOT sell my little "Ebbie" for any amount of money... Bill Gates does NOT have enough money do buy my little friend and companion and he is worth over 50 BILLION dollars. Eat your heart out Bill! If you are looking for an awesome place to take your little or bigger friends and members of your family, (I am talking about PETS here) this is truly the only place to consider.

We have been taking our dogs to NOAH for a few years now and they have always been so kind and compassionate... They saved the life of our Black and Tan Coon Hound Athena after she had gotten into some human meds and just recently since March 10th our Black Lab mix Kaisha was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus. This came as quite a shock to us and was and has been very overwhelming but the staff there and Dr Stoker have been awesome in calming our concerns and answering the many many questions we have had to ensure her safety and well being. Poor Kaisha has also had 2 different surgeries during this time and we have been beside ourselves. They truly care about both 4 legged friends and 2 legged friends. I cannot count how many times I have called there with questions and or concerns and all have been met with kindness, knowledge and genuine concern. We are truly blessed to have the people there in our corner working to help us keep our babies safe and well. They know us by name and say Hi to our dogs every time... Its personal and no price can be put on that wonderful type of care.

NOAH is the best vet north of salt lake by far! I have been using them for my own dogs as well as my rescues for many years and am never disappointed. As a former vet tech myself Im very choosy who Ill trust my furry family with, and have never been disappointed with the care, compassion, and service I get at NOAH. Dr Evans especially has gone out of his way many times to make sure my babies get the best possible care. And they also know when things are to complicated for them, and refer to the appropriate specialists. And as a former vet tech that means a lot to me, because some things are best handled by specialist care. Many kudos to NOAH for keeping my babies and my rescue animals happy and healthy, even when I bring in the "train wrecks" with multiple problems, I know when I take them to NOAH theyll get the best chances possible at s full recovery!

I was very nervous about boarding my dog as shes not dog friendly to other dogs who arent family (also have never boarded her before). I was worried I would come to get her and find out something had happened with another patient. I was the typical owner who was anxious about everything but NOAH was nothing but kind and reassuring. From the time I called to set up the appointment to when I picked her up. One person in particular who helped was a total sweetheart though I do not remember her name; an older woman who is an assistant with short white hair. I want to say a special thank you to her as she was wonderful. Thank you.
