Doctors, with a few exceptions come and go frequently. This results in a lack of consistency in care. If you do find a doc you like, they either leave the practice or they are only available one day a week at your preferred location for half the day. The office staff has lost paperwork on more than one occasion. Camp and physical forms are not ready when they say they will be, if they can find them at all. My children all three were seen by the Kennesaw office from the time we moved to Kennesaw (or for one from birth), and in the last three years we saw a steady decline in care. My two oldest now see regular physicians since they are adults, but my 11 year old now goes to a different pediatrician. After getting home with a prescription with another childs name and personal information on it, I switched to a different pediatrician. Not only was this a serious breach of this other childs privacy, but we had to get his medication called into a pharmacy after hours, a huge inconvenience with a sick kid, not to mention a time and energy waste that could have been avoided had someone done their job correctly. Go somewhere else.

I have been going to see Deb for some time now. For the past two yearly exams I was told by her that my pain and heavy bleeding were caused by menopause. With things getting worse for me I decided to go to a recommended gynecologist and to no surprise whatsoever I have several cyst on both of my ovaries so hysterectomy here I come. Also this past year for my physical and blood work I got a call stating that my white blood count was high and needed to go to the endocrinologist oh and by the way it was high last year but nobody ever told me and thank God that it wasnt anything serious. I am trying to get my medical records so I can go elsewhere however there has been no call back. Appears I will have to use my lunch break to go retrieve them myself

Ive been seeing this doctor since I was a child. My doctor (Deb Godwin) is great, but ever since they were bought out by Emory the staff has gone down the toilet. I have been trying for over a week to get them to authorize my prescription for my insurance. Each time I have called the receptionist either transfers me directly to voicemail or tells me I will have to wait 24-48 hours for the service to be completed. 24-48 hours has turned into 7 days and counting. It is beyond infuriating that I am continuously ignored and that there is literally nothing I can do or no one I can talk to about this issue. I hate to say that after this incident I will never return, despite them being my primary care physician for over half my life.

I called the office at 1pm needing a referral on Monday, the recording says if you leave a msg after 3 pm it would be returned the following business day. No response, called Tuesday and the lady says that they have 48 hrs to return a call...so just FYI Acworth Family you may want to change your recording since its false information. I just called today and she says that the Dr got the msg yesterday...umm no because I called on Monday someone is slacking on their job, this is so unacceptable and so she said that she may call back today. For one that office is not that busy and its ridiculous someone has to wait this long for sevice!!!

Ive been going to this practice for more than 7 years now. Ive always had a very pleasant experience from both the office staff and the medical providers. My care provider, Fran, has always been very attentive and knowledgeable regarding my medical concerns and needs. She has always broken down my medical concerns and questions in a manner that I can understand what is going on with me and her medical plan to resolve my issues. The quality of care Ive received has never changed even when the practice relocated from Kennesaw to Acworth and then transitioned under their new management, Emory.

The medical staff is excellent! Friendly, helpful and comprehensive come to mind. I always feel like they care about me. However, like most other office staff at most other medical practices, their interpersonal communication skills leave a lot to be desired. Not a deal breaker, just a bit of a pain to deal with sometimes. I never figured out why medical office staff have attitude problems. Overworked? Underpaid? God-Complex? But as I said, office staff aside, I love the doctors and the medical side of the staff there. Especially Dr. Stacy Parker. One of the best I have ever been to!

(They have six 1star reviews I dont know why goggles bar graphs only show one)have some nice nurses, but whoever handles collection is a scumbag. I make more then enough money to pay any bills I have, but no one ever contacted me to let me know I owed more than I was asked to pay when I was there. No mail, no phone call, nothing, and I know they have my address because they sent me a collection notice from a prior visit. Now I just recited a debt collection noticing from FAMS. I cant imagine what is going to happen to my credit now, thanks a lot Emory! Im obviously never going back.

My doctor there is great, been a patient of his for 15 years. Called this morning, needing a prescription refill. The 2 ladies I talked to had plenty of attitude... the recording says that if you call before 3:30, you will get a return call the same business day. They inform me the recording is incorrect, and needs to be updated. Guess that is my fault... All I wanted was a prescription refill sent to Publix, instead I got a bunch of attitude. Terrible customer service today. Once again, doctor is great. Phone staff, not so much...

I see Dr. Stacey Parker as my PCP and she is amazing! I have, on occasion when Dr. Parker is booked, seen Dr. Godwin and she is equally as understanding. It is really nice to have medical staff treat you who make you feel as if youre not being judged. I have referred friends to this practice and they all share the same opinion! From the front desk staff, to the phlebotomists to the nurses, to the doctors, everyone is always knowledgeable, pleasant and outgoing!

Wow. I have been going to these doctors for 30 years and for the most part they have provided consistent excellent service. I cannot believe some of the comments in the previous posts. Dr. Andrews (now retired) has been my personal physician for that entire time and I wouldnt have it any other way. The term "Family" in their old practice name was more than that - not only did it service families but the doctors and staff always treated us like family.

Probably the worst Dr and Pediatrician we have ever been to. Each time we went the wait was well over an hour. Front desk staff seemed stressed out and the penicillin prescription they gave to my 5 year old was too low of a dose. We had to go back twice to get a proper dose of penicillin. After all that, we ended up going to a new Dr who looked at her history and was shocked at the dose they prescribed her.
