Im glad to see others have had a positive experience, because mine was bad. I had the intention to bring over my entire family, but I put a stop to that change. Here are my complaints: 1) The doctor did my cleaning and his bedside manner was arrogant, aggressive, and belittling. He accidentally hurt me so I flinched while saying ouch, his response was "....uhh sorry" but treated me like it was my fault. Also he belittled me because I couldnt hold my mouth open for 45 mins straight without a break to rest my jaw muscles. Im not a high maintenance person but I do expect to be treated as an equal when Im paying for services. 2) He pushed really hard for cosmetic items and told me I had major issues which was going to cost me thousands... Not hundreds, but thousands! He had a direct line to my insurance company and had approvals for everything before I even decided to consider his recommendations. He wanted to cap 6 teeth immediately! 3) I decided to get a second opinion because the amount of work was so large. I asked to have my dental records transferred for the second opinion. Just requesting the transfer took 3 days and multiple phone calls back and forth... Andrea, his receptionist, was VERY nice and very apologetic. He wouldnt let me have the records directly claiming HIPPA laws, but his office screwed up getting them sent to the other doctor which required more phone calls. On the day of my second opinion, they showed me what LoveJoy Dentistry sent and it was complete JUNK. The x-rays were not legible! I had to call and complain more and have Andrea send them again but correctly. It delayed my appointment by 20 mins, but thankfully the second doctor was very understanding. 4) The second opinion doctor said that considering crowns was pre-mature even when I questioned him if I had a possible hairline cracked tooth. He said he had no definitive evidence of a cracked tooth. One word for LoveJoy Dentistry, aggressive. Aggressive on your treatments, on cosmetic sales, on you and your insurances pocket book. I dont write reviews, but Im pretty upset with this doctor.

I recently visited LoveJoy Dentistry for x-rays and teeth cleaning and this is what I found... From the moment I walked in I knew I had come to the right place. The waiting room was clean, fresh and modern. I was greeted with professionalism and a smile. I was offered something to drink while I completed my paperwork and then I was immediately called back for my appointment. I was again greeted with a smile by a very professional dental assistant, whom introduced herself and explained her role in my care. She escorted me to a bright, clean, well organized and spacious exam room, where everything was explained, my questions were answered then onto the x-ray room where my dental x-rays were taken with state of the art equipment and best of all it was painless. I love this dental office and up until that point, I hadnt even met the Doctor yet....lol Dr Rouse was amazing, to put it simply! He was as awesome as his staff. He reviewed the x-rays, discussed my plan of care in a way that I could understand and then took great care of me and the best part... No Shots, No Pain and No Problems! He worked effortlessly, this Doctor really knows his business and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. Another amazing member of his team, explained the fees and my insurance coverage with great patience because this was the hardest thing for me to grasp. She answered all my questions and helped me to understand each charge in detail, which I felt were reasonable. I have already made my second appointment to complete some additional needed and recommended procedures. I feel confident that my next appointment will go as smoothly as my first and trust that so much that I made an appointment for my husband as well. We have defiantly found our Family Dentist! Jenny

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist, but unfortunately I did NOT have a great experience with Dr. Rouse. On my first visit he came across as arrogant, pushy and very condescending any time I would ask questions. He told me he wanted to re-fill ALL of my previous cavities (8-9 total) and said he wanted to do this as soon as possible. When asked for clarification if it needed to be done now or if it was "preventative", I could never get a straight answer from him or his staff. So on top of quoting me over $1,100 with insurance, they were also pushing this "night guard" that, of course, is NOT covered by insurance and is another "$600 or so". Dr. Rouse and his staff were not only very aggressive and pushy, but they communicated to you in a way that made you feel bad. Not ever going back. I will say the only good experience was the hygienist, she was very friendly and understanding.

Do not get work done by this hack. Horrible experience with Dr. Rouse. Went in for an extraction, they raised the price on the extraction after quoting me a price originally so that was the first flag, but I was in pain so I went along with it. Then it took the dentist about an hour to pull out one tooth, he says on the website he is capable of wisdom teeth and implants, but he struggled on mine and it was obvious he doesnt know what he is doing. I was in excruciating pain for over two weeks and all he kept saying was this is a normal part of the extraction experience. I should have known, the guy barely graduated from dental school and he is already "an expert on implants and wisdom teeth." What a joke this hack is, I hope no one has to go through what I went through. I already warned all my buddies in town. Dont make the same mistake I did please!!

One of the most kind and sincere group of people Ive ever seen. I hadnt been to the dentist in an untold amount of time, mainly because of the fear that goes along with them. Dr. Rouse changed all of that for me. I had to get all of my wisdom teeth pulled and a crown put in. I did so all in one day, but they made my experience wonderful. He knew exactly what he was doing and did a great job at it. Ive heard the horror stories of going to the dentist before, but youll never have to worry about that here. All of the staff are the most kind and caring people youll probably ever meet. Just an all around great group of professionals. I would recommend Dr. Rouse and his staff to anyone!

I have had quite a bit of Dental work done over my 52 years and have had some good experiences and some bad experiences, but the care and personal interest that I received from LoveJoy Dental and their knowledgeable team were above any dental treatment I have ever experienced. From the initial exam throughout my treatment I experienced professional care that exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. Rouse and his accomplished staff for all of your and your familys dental needs. I will be getting all of my dental needs met at LoveJoy Dental.
