To whom it may concern. I am compelled to write to you concerning my visit to Lansdale hospital on April 20th, 2016. I would like to congratulate whoever is responsible for setting the bar for patient service, you have done a wonderful job! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I felt nothing but genuine friendliness from all the staff. Courteous, professional, caring, and friendly are just some of the ways to describe the staff. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs and, even at 6am, were cheerful and jovial which really rubs off on the patients. Everything concerning my procedure was explained thoroughly and I was put at ease immediately and having a Surgeon like Dr. Greene with one of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced, made the whole thing a breeze. The icing on the cake was the ‘Get well’ card I received in the mail actually signed by some of the staff, CLASS ACT! So, once again, thank you for providing what I call a patient oriented hospital compared to the sterile ‘UNITS’ that are popping up everywhere. I shall definitely recommend Lansdale Hospital to everyone. Sincerely,

Recently I had a hip replacement at this Hospitals Orthopedic and Spine Institute. Its top rate! I am no stranger to being in the hospital so I feel Im qualified to comment. I was greeted immediately and everything was expedited. All pretesting was done a few days before at my convenience in the Orthopedic wing and I was shown around and introduced to people who would be my care givers. No long wait at patient registration for tests. At no time did I feel like I was imposing or bothering someone. The surgery was a great success and everything that could be done to make me comfortable was done. The care was top notch. When I vetted Docs to do my surgery I was thrilled to find Andy Star at the top of the list and that he liked operating at my local hospital. Everyone was courteous and thoughtful and as friendly as I could have hoped for. The PT folks were genuine and realistic in their approach which was a nice surprise. The biggest surprise though was the food. Hard to believe but the food was excellent! Seriously. I still remember the perfectly cooked cheeseburger and spicy fries post surgery.

Horrible experience with nursing staff and hospitalists. My mother has been brought here at Lansdale ER for a fall with fractured pelvis, they send her to 4th floor for overnight until orthopedic will decide tomorrow where to send her for rehab. In the meantime since mom is insulin dependent diabetic, the nursing staff and Dr cant decide how many units to inject and her sugar is approaching 400, they still are not here to give her insulin. Not a good thing to tell the patient "youre not the only patient here, we have many other patients..." I guess essentially what the hospitalist meant was, just wait till we get to you. The hospital did not seem too busy or understaffed, but somehow ended up being shift change and chaotic, BUT thats still not acceptable and not par with level of care youd expect. Donna (nurse supervisor) was kind enough to come to us and talked to me and agreed to make sure my mom receives rest of her meds and night insulin according to the chart prescribed by moms enchrocronologist . What a night, and if I have a choice, in the future Ill choose a different hospital.

My wife was diagnosed via on MRI scan that she has degenerative disc disease and herniated disc doctor was very pleasant and helped her out showed her some moves to use and also gave her the correct pain medication has pain medication is V aspect of care however most of the doctors there II they see that you need something for pain relief you get treated like a druggie Im sure you guys have pressures from your side but enough is enough were not all work walking around so you can drugs with seeking relief from a doctor that makes a vowel to care I do get it the worlds a crappy place in which the people that dont need to have ruined it but what do you say to all those people who come in and generally need in something for the pain and further care they get treated like a bum and shown the door letter is being written to Administration about this or should I say has already been written for the doctors names listed there in

I went in for swollening lips and the experience there was horrible they did not give me the proper care I feel like I deserve they didnt swab my mouth and do any test to see what was actually wrong with me. Dr Harris he just came in looked at my lips and told me to put some cold compresses on it and take Benadryl every four to six hours. Then they discharged me with one page of instructions. I am very unhappy in how they treated me there I will never go there again

Ive been in and out through this hospital 19 times this past year. For the most part, everything was barely ok from being treated like a hpyrochondriac to a druggy. DR. Harris in the er should not even be practiceing. Then, Yi, a nursing assistant is clueless and to annoyed to follow doctors orders. Nurses Peg, Michelle and Leanne are superior.

Simply put... this hospital sent a bill to my health insurance company for $3900 for an MRI of my hand. The same MRI a mile down the road at Colmar Imaging costs $1300. This should be illegal so dont waste your money here if you dont have to. I have never felt so robbed in my life.
