I just moved to the twin cities and was looking for a good dentist. I asked some local friends for recommendation and they gave me several - Woodbury Dental was not one of them. After calling all the dentists my friends had recommended, I was not happy with how I was treated on the phone or the lack of answers I got from them. I searched the internet and found Woodbury Dental, called in twice and both times got great customer service and had all my questions and concerns answered. I made my appointment and was also offered to be on a wait list (in case someone else cancelled their appointment I could take their spot.) I ended up getting a call the next week using this service and was able to get my appointment done even sooner! I really value a serve like that! My experience when coming into the appointment was exceptional. Everyone treated me very well, they were very patient and explained everything to me. Im a single gal, no dental insurance and I have a freelance job - so money can be tight. They were very considerate of that and I felt that my services were very affordable. My lower teeth are a bit crooked and this is something that has bothered me most of my life. Ive asked several dentists about this in the past and the solution was to get braces or Invisalign. Both options were more than I wanted to pay for or deal with. When I asked the same question to Woodbury Dental/Dr. Kyle R. Edlund, he immediately mocked up a solution for what he could do to fix my lower teeth. Adding a bit to one tooth and filing down some of the other. A quick affordable solution that I had never been offered by previous dentists! My appointment was today and I am very very happy with the outcome! I have the straightest teeth Ive ever had in my life! And it only took about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place! Ive been smiling bigger all day:)

Ive never been fond of going to the dentist but walking into Woodbury Dental Care has changed my perspective. I actually discovered their office through another "review site" which raved about their gentle approach and comforting staff. I took those reviews with a grain of salt but banked on the thought that 15 others all couldnt be fabricating their experience. Initially I made an appointment for a standard cleaning which required follow up services. The latter didnt bother me because upon walking into the office, the staff were so warm and welcoming. It certainly wasnt a facade because the dental hygienists continued to show such care. Mary, my dental hygienist was a blessing to work with. Extremely gentle and described exactly everything she was doing. In fact she brought out a camera that allowed me to see her work on the television mounted in front of my chair. A very delicate and sweet woman! Dr. Edlund was the dentist who performed my dental work and he was great! The entire staff were never judgmental and thorough in explaining what and why such services needed to be completed. During my second appointment I was immediately put at ease. Dr. Edlund informed me that if at any moment Im in discomfort or needed a break, all I would have to do was raise my hand. I was never in pain or nervous throughout the entire appointment. The dental chair was oh so comfortable with super plush padding and headphones to the t.v! The ambiance of the office is welcoming, comfortable, clean and which genuine employees who love not only their job, but the actual office they work in!! Please dont hesitate to make an appointment. I continue to recommend Woodbury Dental Care. It truly will change any negative feelings people generally have toward going to the dentist!!

AM-Rebel hit the bullseye with their comments. Since weve been going to WDC I have been telling people that the thing I like most about them is that from the moment you walk in the front door any anxiety you may have had about visiting the dentist disappears! They make you feel comfortable. They make you feel welcome. They make you feel like you are their favorite patient - and you probably are! My wife has always disliked going to the dentist (thankfully, though, her teeth are in very good shape!), but even she appreciates how welcome they make her feel at WDC. Even my two sons, ages 12 and 11, love going to see "Dr. Mike." I am truly sorry that Sarah (1-star review) had an unfortunate experience. It would have been helpful for others had she taken a moment to explain what happened that made her visit so horrendous. It is one thing to say negative things about a person or an organization - or to give them a bad "review" on social sites - but it is something ENTIRELY different to articulate your opinion so that it is actually valuable to others so they can make an informed decision. However, I am fairly certain that hers was an isolated incident... and an EXTREMELY isolated incident! Woodbury Dental Care (and Dr. Michael Pelke) is dentistry par excellence!

I took the pain of driving more than 12 miles one away to bring my daughter for any dental procedure to Woodbury Dental Care. Obviously it was a referral from my aunt; who was utmost satisfied with this Dental family. From the first visit Ive realized, this would be the last Dental Clinic I would ever explore. I was right on my decision. Each and every employees at this clinic like my own family. Greeting and smile to start with as soon as you enter the clinic. Dr. Kyle Edlund is my daughters dentist, word can not express how fabulous this gentleman is! My daughter always feel like, this is someone of my own family and cares like your own parent. While waiting, you have nothing to get bored of. Youve huge fish aquarium to look at the colorful fishes, youve got all the magazines and papers to explore and moreover youve the WiFi connected laptop to browse :-) Fantastic job, Im going to send my hubby there this time. Youve made our smile even better :-) And finally decided to move in to Woodbury from Oakdale, so I dont miss the people here in the Clinic and the great and friendly people of Woodbury. I moved to Woodbury dental care after checking their reviews last year. I cant be happier. The receptionists are very friendly and efficient. I have never waited more than 5 minutes either in waiting room or on the chair which is really important to me. Having 2 little children, I have to arrange the sitter or my husband has to come home early. Its always great that you get your teeth done without wasting any time. they have a beautiful facility with little hideout/tree house type and a game room for the kids. The nurses are also great-they really listen and make sure you are comfortable. Of course, the doctors are awesome. They are easy to talk to and friendly to both adults and the kids-I moved my kids to WDC after coming here for a year. My 3 year old had his very first dentist appointment for cleaning his teeth this year and it was just amazing. He actually loved it. They took all the time before to show him every tool they are going to use and let him feel it and try it. They also like that they get helium balloons when they are done. I cant say enough good things about this place.
