I dont normally see Dr. Merrill, but I had to go the the ER at Riverton Hospital because I was having major contractions over the weekend. I am only 26 weeks pregnant. I was in extreme pain and was checked into labor and delivery. I was fortunately not in labor but something was triggering contractions so he ordered a urine sample. Dr. Merrill never came into see me, so I dont even know what he looks like, but as soon as they had my pain under control after 5 hours and had my contractions stopped they sent me on my way. 2 days later, I still was not feeling right, so I call Dr. Merrills office to see what the results were from the urine sample. They said the results shouldve been sent to my own doctor. I told them that I had already called my doctor and they hadnt heard or seen anything. Dr. Merrills office then said they would look at the results. It showed that I have blood and bacteria in my urine. But Dr. Merrill didnt order a culture or follow it at all!! So I will have to go to my own doctor and give them a sample so I can get on some antibiotics so take care of something a doctor that is collecting money from me and my insurance didnt care to do himself. Thanks for NOTHING Dr. Merrill.

After moving and having a different Doctor for each of my 4 pregnancys, I was nervous if anyone could compare to the care I had recieved in the past. I found an OB here in Utah and was not getting answers that I needed or quality time discussing my concerns. I was referred to Dr. Merrill at 34 weeks which was so late to make a change, but I knew I had to. After meeting with Dr. Merrill I was blown away by his knowledge, bed side manner, and ability to make me feel like he really understood my concerns. He listened and answered every single question I had, and made me feel like I was family, rather than just another patient. I absolutely would recommend Dr. Merrill to anyone who is looking for an amazing OBGYN. If I could give 10 stars for him as well as his staff I would!

I suffered from Endometriosis from age 15 to 28 and Dr. Merrill helped me so much. He was kind and caring and performed several surgeries on me, some to clear infectious areas, some to repair scar tissue damage and a hysterectomy. My incisions are very small and hardly noticible and my recovery always went very well. I am 100% pain free now and am so incredibly grateful! He also delivered my 2 beautiful babies.

I have been going to Western since 1994 and to Dr. Robt Merrill since 2004. Ive never had children, but my annual GYN and any other issues with Dr. Merrill have exceeded my expectations. He treats you like you are part of the family. Hes never in a hurry and Im sure hes one busy Doctor! You can be comfortable knowing that he really cares about you and your issues as a woman. I recommend him very highly!
