I have been seeing Dr. Purohit for many years and both of my adult daughters now see her as well. We love her! I have never felt rushed at all. In fact, there have been many times when I could have sworn I was her only patient because of how patient she was with me (but she was booked solid with patients). Any time I questioned what she was telling me I ALWAYS found out later that she was absolutely right. Plus, I love that she always recommends a natural way of doing things first (if there is one), rather than always going for the prescriptions. The man below who was upset because she said it was too early for an ultrasound is probably a new dad who doesnt realize that unless there is a problem with the pregnancy, most OBGYNs will not do an ultrasound until 18-20 weeks so the parents can hear the heartbeat AND see the sex of the baby (if they choose). Plus, most insurance companies only allow one ultrasound (unless there are problems) so you have to be sure you make your one shot count. Dr. Purohit was most likely following standard protocol and cant be given a 1 for that!

If I would have believed the reviews stated below, I would have never gone to see Dr. Purohit. That would have been a huge mistake for me. Yesterday, was my first day meeting with her to discuss my personal issues. Besides being professional and knowledgeable, she was so open and willing to answer ALL of my questions. I never felt rushed. I am looking forward to appointments with her, in order to heal. She was sincere with me and I truly feel its her passion to help women. Please, Ive had problems for 30 years, and I feel shes the first doctor to genuinely care about me. I hope you take this into consideration. :)

I had a decent check up. The nurse practitioner who saw me was very professional and enjoyable. However, my prescription was never called in. I waited two days in pain for my prescription to be called in to the pharmacy and it never was. The office was closed when I tried to call and figure out why it hadnt been called in. I was transferred to a very rude impatient on call after hours receptionist and then transferred to the on call nurse who was also impatient. Overall terrible communication.

My wife is about 14 weeks pregnant and still havent heard the heartbeat of our child!! Ultrasound tech said to ask doctor, doctor says were too early to hear it....it really seems like the appointments are rushed and if you need something done (like hear the heartbeat) it gets pushed aside. Very disappointed.

I love Dr Purohit. She helped me through my second pregnancy and miscarriage, and was extremely gentle and kind. Shes very competent and thorough, and I love that they have an ultrasound tech in the office.
