I wish there was a zero, but there isnt! I have been trying to have another child w/ my husband for so long...I almost thought it would never happen. Finally I got pregnant and found Dr. Kells. I was seen by Ramona who made me feel great. My husband had high hopes for this place too. Our second visit it was like she wasnt listening to us. She was a car with out the lights on! I asked her about the pain I have been experiencing while I walked or laid down. She began checking my neck...why? She then gave me my lab sheet. When you do lab work they dont call you ever...but they have a third party contact you which tells you to call Dr. Kells. No personalization. At every visit I was informing Ramona that the pain Ive been experiencing was increasing...still it was part of the "joys of pregnancy" Month after month....it grew till I was 6 months...and my daughter dislocated my pubic bone. Even after that Ramona never diagnosed me w/ SPD. I then switched from Ramona to Dr. Kells. After two visits w/ him I was still not diagnosed w/ SPD. It wasnt until they changed my visit to Cindy instead of Dr. Kells that Cindy diagnosed me as SPD. For those who dont know SPD is PAINFULL all the TIME. It got so bad I had to get a walker. As the months went on the pain increased...I had to request to be induced a month early as the pain increased being pregnant wasnt joyful. I wanted it over with. Everything was planned right...NOT. We were NEVER notified by his staff or Dr. Kells that he was taking a vacation during the time of my induction. We were notified 3 days prior to my induction. Not enough time to find a back up OBGYN. I had to use his back up Dr. During my labor...I started to hemorrhage and losing consciousness. The next day I was in such intense pain all at once the nurses on staff at the hospital had no clue about my SPD. It wasnt documented anywhere. After they put wraps on me as tight as they could the pain disappeared. I was then given Vicodine for the pain. My blood clots were HUGE...and they had to weigh them due to my blood loss. This continued on long after my discharge. I then went to my check after birth and explained my feelings....what I was going through. I told them...Im tired all the time, could hardly walk, and was difficult to carry my NB daughter. Was told this was normal and things would get better after a couple of weeks. They symptoms never subsided...in fact they increased where I couldnt breath. It got so bad I went to the hospital. While there I learned I had heart failure and wasnt expected to survive the week. I have Postpartum Cardiomyopathy also known as Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. That most mothers who just had a child learn of their heart failure after they have their child as MOST OBGYN will not look at your heart as they pass it off as part of your pregnancy and recovery from labor. You would think it would stop from there...NO. I contacted him and informed him of what was happening. After being released on on treatment still not fully recovered I came in to have the Mirena in planted. I began to have HUGE blood clots. Pain in the middle of the night every night which lasted for hours. Called a week later and had it removed. No one checked to see if I developed PID. They believed I may have gotten an infection while being in planted, but not antibiotics were given or prescribed..even now...I have more blood with clots and pain... This is pain that WILL wake you up in the middle of the night. I also find some of their staff less sympathetic towards my issues. I feel like I am a hassle and just a number there. I refuse to go back there...On Monday, I will be seeing a new OBGYN for a second opinion...and hopefully treatment for whats wrong. I feel they dont listen to your concerns and just want to rush and get you out. They say they know someone who went through what you went through...but its like they are just saying it to calm your nerves. I am disappointed with them.

I had my fourth child six years ago. Ramona was my midwife and she was fantastic. I had my third child at home with a midwife and had a good experience, but I wanted an epidural for this last one. Because this was my fourth, I knew what I wanted and Ramona was great. I wanted a "walking" epidural. I wanted her to use olive oil to help prep me for the delivery, which results in NO tearing. And I wanted to be the first to hold my daughter. Ramona was fantastic and while I think my requests were new for her, she was very open. The biggest thing I loved is that because my third child was huge (he was 10.5 pounds and 23 inches long) Dr. Kells came to my daughters delivery, just to be on hand in case anything went wrong. It didnt, everything was great, but I was impressed that he showed up. It was a great experience from beginning to end!

Dr. Kells was an amazing doctor. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and he was very sensitive to my issues, and referred me to the best doctors possible. He answered my MANY questions, with ease and comfort. The staff working for Dr. Kells are efficient, professional and very kind. I was seeing another doctor in his same office that re-located, and Id have to say I am happy I stayed with this office. They have been with me, every step of the way. They worked well with my insurance and payment arrangements as well. I am one satisfied patient with the services rendered during a difficult time. I would refer Dr. Kells and his staff to anyone. They are comforting, and willing to help in answering all your questions. They dont rush just to get the next patient in, everyone is important in their office.

Ive never been to an office thats been so consistently behind EVERY SINGLE visit! at least 45-60 min behind every single time. They told me my appointment was at 9 and I told them I had an interview at 10 to get to and I get there and they said its actually at 9:45. they got me in a room an hour after my appointment time and even after being a patient there for 8 years they STILL dont have my medication on file. it just blows my mind that a place thats prescribed me the same medication for 8 years still doesnt have my medication on file its inexcusable. never been more disappointed in an office every single visit so its not just a one time thing. so unprofessional and they dont care about your time at all!

Dr. Kells is an amazing obgyn. His staff is always freindly and prompt. I never wait more the 10mins to be seen. He delivered my 2nd child on Christmas day! I highly recommend his office. Coming from IL a top medical state, I went to a few other doctors when I found out I was pregnant. All of the other offices I went to were horrible and always assumed I was on public aid.or had no insurance and no education...how rude! I pay very much for my insurance! Anyway. Dr. Kells and his staff never talked down to me or made me feel unimportant. I love them and as long as I live in az I will be going to them!
