I see some really negative reviews here and feel compelled to share my opinion, in defense of this store. My family has been going to Pearle Vision on the Somerville Circle for over 12 years and weve always been treated very well by both the Opticians and the Ophthalmologists. In fact, they have gone above and beyond for me. One time they managed to get my son a replacement pair of glasses in a record amount of time. We were leaving for vacation in a few days and "Murphys Law", he broke his only pair of glasses. He needs glasses to see distance and close-up so he was very upset that he wouldnt be able to see anything on our vacation. The woman that helped us then (Isorry, I dont remember her name), pulled strings and jumped through hoops to get us a replacement pair w/in a day or 2 and Ill always remember that and be appreciative of it! I would highly recommend this Pearle Vision.
I dont even want to give any stars.. Stay away. People in this place are rude, disrespectful. Jen (assistant supervisor) went to bottom line "Do you want glasses or not".. Also, go talk to your insurance to understand what is covered or not. I had selected frame and denied anti scratch or glare coating which was extra. Lady still put it but when bill was paid and receipt printed, charges were scammed in differently. When asked why total is different then what was told, she says, thats how it will process. When I called today again and spoke to Jen requesting that I dont want coating or relevant charge on it. She goes cant do.. and said, dont have time to explain all details. When asked where is supervisor, she said, supervisor will come back next week only. I should have read all reviews in detail. I personally wont go and wont recommend anyone going to this place.
I had very bad experience in getting my glasses prescription filled up. There is no real concern to help the customer. I dont know if it is only me who got the bad treatment or everyone else. Since, I was in a hurry, first time when I visited I didnt pay much attention to their care. Treatment got worst and there was no real help when I went back to exchange the frames. I was there in the store for a long time and no store rep came forward to offer help, I guess they were mad that I came back to exchange? When the exchange was ready there was no call from the store to inform that it is ready, I had to call up multiple times to find out.
Ive been wearing glasses for decades and Pearle Vision in Bridgewater, NJ, is by far the best place I have ever gone for selection and customer service. And if you are looking for the BEST person in the best place, make sure to ask for Melissa Charwin! Melissa has personally been assisting me for years and there is no one more accommodating! Professional, knowledgeable, personable and a genuinely nice, kind person! Wish everyone I dealt with everywhere was just like Melissa! THE BEST! Thank you so much, Melissa!! Jackie S
Went to Pearle Vision today to get new glasses. Nicole greeted me when I arrived and was very professional in showing me the styles that would look good for me. She was very helpful from start to finish! Nicole is a very valuable employee for this company.
Needed to get my glasses repaired, was a little nervous based on others feedback. Arrive around 6pm and walked out at 6:15 with repair made, no charge. As I walked in was greeted promptly, asked if they could help. Found staff professional and friendly.
Glasses came back with lenses that I could see the machining marks in. These then caught the light and made an internal glare to the lenses themselves. Frame selection lacked lower price options.
I love Pearle Vision of Bridgewater! They take personal care with my needs. I have no idea what type of glasses to get. They help you try on multiple styles to get it right!
Pearl Vision in Bridgewater was extremely helpful both before and after the purchase. Id recommend Wendy and Mike to anyone!
