!!!!!SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!!!! !!!!Beware!!!! Incorrect billing and poor service. I went in to get a check up and found out I needed a crown. I got a price quote. Scheduled the appointment. I paid in full $234 after the insurance part was satisfied prior to getting the crown mold done. I elected to get the NO2 and the optional cancer screening included at that price. I come back a week later to get the crown put in. Then leave with nothing more to be paid. A week later I came back again to get the crown refitted because it wasnt done right the first time. Now a month and a half later I get a bill for $247.70 with no reason from Amando Dental. I call up and speak to a very rude person who dealt with the billing. Who frankly told me that they had made a mistake in their calculations and they had under billed me and this was the corrected bill and that I was still responsible to pay. I told her that was unacceptable. That they had robbed me of my choice to go somewhere else to get a better price and that their mistake was not my problem and that it should be adjusted. She just rudely responded that it was owed and would not be adjusted. I then contacted the Union Dental group that had referred me to them in the first place. They were very helpful and had contacted them for me. We come to find out that their math was still wrong and the additional shortfall was $161. The union Dental representative agreed with me that the amount at this point should be adjusted. They had since sent the first incorrect higher amount to collections. Funny thing is that the DCS collection agency used, is actually owned by the same person who owns Armando Dental. Now I knew my legal rights and sent a certified letter back to their collection agency advising that if they sent any further collections notices to me, I would consider it harassment and per the fair collection act would sue to include legal fees. Of course, as prior with the dental office, the collection side was also incompetent and kept sending me further collection notices. Which I handed over to my lawyer. After a few weeks, a very angry owner of the business, had to remove the collection and report to the credit agencies that the debt was in error. !!!!!SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!!!!

""Beware""Amando dental is the worst dentist ever. Dr Cepeda cant make up his mind he pulled a tooth that shouldnt have been pulled he was fired in the middle of my treatment. His office staff talked me into a crown with a partial saying they would fit together better. When it came in the crown was wrong color and miss shapen and the partial didnt fit. He got fired during the process. When the new doc came in he was worse! He said i needed all my top teeth pulled. I had already paid them $1500 they took the partial off the price, but not the rest. The new dentist Terry Brooks put a new crown on and this one was still the wrong color from all my teeth and it bucks out having me talk with a lisp. Dr Brooks assistant is mean she is overweight so she has trouble gettin to you so she puts the chair on its head and straddles over you. And trust me she smells and it is not plesant being inbetween that. She did a binding on my tooth and she Made it hurt intentionally.I have had crowns in the past but never a binding. Why do it if they still cant make the crown fit in right. I fear for anyone to go here because of their encomptence and having no ability to match crowns or even get them in straight. It was like they were taking it out on me because I wouldnt do all the stuff on their proposal, and let me tell you. You will get very detailed Expensive things that do not need to be done. Take my word and you will see go in for one thing and walk out with a proposal over $1000. They are all about the money you will see and they give low quality service. Their reseptionest was also taken out of the office, not by her own meens and she was fired. They have a big turnover here after to many patients complaign and want their money back. "Beware" of this office Terry Brooks is worse than Cepeda. Please get a second opinion and go to someone you trust.Most dentists will work with the prices on the proposal. Remember you get what you pay for and cheep is cheep Amando Dental is a wolf is sheeps clothing Beware!!!

If youre a person who is afraid of going to the dentist then listen to me careful. Dr. C at Amando Dental is the dentist you need. For years I avoided going to the dentist because of bad & terrifying experiences I suffered and endured as a child. It was so bad whenever I did go, even if it was just to have my teeth cleaned I would have to be given valium and nitrate. At Amando Dental I had a 2hr procedure without any of thing other than the numbing gel. Please do yourself a favor, go to Amando Dental and let Dr. C take care all of your dental needs. I promise and guarantee that you WILL NOT regret it at all. His staff is great, caring and compassionate. From the moment you make your first call until you reach home you will feel special. In fact, youll receive immediate correspondence the Amando Dental Staff. I received several emails and a hand written "thank you" card. Dr. C is not after your money; he cares about your health and wants to make you smile again. Thanks Dr. C. B Allen

I hadnt been to the dentist in a couple of years, not recommended, by the way. I found Southside Dental at Tinseltown and made an appointment for a cleaning and general check up. I was greeted by friendly staff, who were able to help sign me up for a dental insurance plan for those, like my college student self, who may not have dental insurance in conjunction with their healthcare plan. I first saw Dr. Lama, but she has since moved, and now Southside has Dr. Yang. Both dentists are extremely friendly and Dr. Lama gave me a detailed itemized dental plan. I felt no pressure to have work done aside from what I felt I wanted and was necessary. There was a mixup with my retainer, and the staff kept me well informed on the progress until I received my retainer. I recommend Southside Dental at Tinseltown to anyone who is in search of a dentist.

I have never posted a review online before, but I saw the previous posting and was very shocked that they had such a bad experience. My whole family goes to Amando and we love it. Dr. Amy Mcmahan is amazing with my children and myself. She makes you feel so comfortable and this is the first dentist that I have not had to take medication before my visits for nerves. I have never had any problems with my insurance or anything like that. I guess there is always someone that has a bad experience anywhere you go but I love this place. It is a beautiful office and the staff was very caring and informative and I have referred several of my friends and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this office.
