The doctors themselves are fine, though the schedulers sometimes mess up with scheduling -- I thought my primary care doctor could do gyno stuff, but when I got to the appointment she said "I told them that they shouldnt schedule patients for this any more!" It was both a waste of time & money! But, worst of all, I have NEVER been billed correctly for any appointments that Ive had through Medstar. I consistently get incorrect bills and have to call back MULTIPLE times to get them corrected. I finally stopped going to the doctor here because it became clear that they werent going to fix this system at all. When I told them the reason I was leaving, all I got was a "Thats understandable". No attempt was made to see if this problem could be remedied. Its too bad, because the location is convenient and I liked my doctor.

Update: After I sent an email to the operations manager, I got a prompt response and then a phone call from someone who was SUPER helpful. I havent chosen another doctor yet, but Ill up my review to 3 stars until Im inspired to change it one way or the other. *original review*I Loved Dr. Hamilton. She left. Dr. Veenema is awesome as are the OT service providers. What I dont love is the admin services/support for the Primary Care office. Ive literally been on hold for 18 minutes just trying to find out if my Rx is ready for pick up. I doubt it is, even though I called it in last week, which is why Im calling. But I havent gotten a single person on the phone yet, the recording and I are BFFs now though, so I have that going for me. Still on hold. Going on 22 minutes.

Administration is lacking to say the least when it comes to communicating with patients. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment, but when it comes time to check out or to provide any direction for follow up they leave you with no instruction. The front desk staff border on rudeness and gave me the impression I was a burden to them because I didnt follow their process that wasnt communicated in the first place. The physicians are good, but the admin process needs to be drastically improved.

I walked in on a Saturday morning and the place was dead as a doornail. I was seen within 15 minutes. I went in for something pretty serious and was very emotional. The doctors beside manner was incredible. Everyone was super nice. They set me up with a follow-up appointment to see a primary care provider there. I left feeling completely cared for. This is where I will return for all my primary and urgent care.

Called ahead, as their policy suggests, to visit early on a Saturday morning. Desk clerk on the phone instructed me on the wait time. I came 15 minutes before the time she quoted and when I attempted to be buzzed up, she informed me there was no doctor and it would be at least 2 more hours until a physician arrived. I asked why she quoted me a time if there was no doctors and she had no reason what so ever.

Ive been to both the urgent care center and the primary care section on the 3rd floor. Ive been several times now in the past year and the staff and docs were friendly, and I got what I needed. Wait times were normal for a docs office; not excessive. I also have had lab work done a few times and that also was a pleasant experience. Its a decent place to go.

Clean place, admission is fast. The place wasnt busy at all and I had to wait 1.5 hours to see the doctor. Waited in patient room for 35 minutes without any communication. Left without service. If I was told and updated on the waiting time I would have appreciate it, but ignoring your patient is the worse you can do.

I have to downgrade review. This place has WORST operations and billing. They wont update your address, they will loose your bill, then send it to a collection agency. No one has any idea what they are doing and you will wait on hold for hours with no help. TL/DR: Good doctors, but horribly operated

2 minute Dr consulting. Its not worth your time an money. Dr gace me a perscription in 2 minute consulting. Go to a real doctor, save time and money.
