I have not been to the dentist for more than a decade and was very apprehensive about even scheduling an appointment, much less stepping foot in a dental office. After struggling with an eating disorder, I was embarrassed and concerned about the damage done to my teeth. This coupled with traumatic experiences at the dentist office as a child, the fear of having hands in my mouth, drills, smells, pain, etc. kept me from even making an initial phone call. I sent an email inquiry explaining my situation and I received a personal phone call from Dr. Koppikar. His compassionate feedback and encouragement to come into the office when I was ready gave me the courage to take the next step. I went in for a consultation and Dr. Koopikar and his staff were very kind. I had two fillings and my first of two appointments for a full mouth debridement this week. I had decided to try the oral conscious sedation route, and although the Halcion was unfortunately not very effective for me, Dr. Koppikar and his staff offered everything from blankets to headphones to a warm smile to ease my apprehension. Dr. Koppikar is a skilled, compassionate dentist with an incredible beside manner who will do whatever he can to make a dental appointment pleasant. About Hygienist: Deann is amazing! To be honest I am not sure if I could have gotten through my appointment without her. Her gentle presence and caring nature made not only cleaning a decade of build-up easier, but fostered a sense of safety and trust for the other work I had to have done. She was incredibly conscientious, ensured that I wouldnt be in any pain, reminded me that if at any point I need her to stop I just had to raise my left hand, and made the time go quickly. Because of this experience, returning for my second appointment in a few weeks will be much easier.

Since my daughter, Dr. Gretchen Henson, DDS, has been my dentist for the past 12 years in Phoenix, I thought that I would never have to go to another dentist. Never say never. Two years ago Gretchen decided she wanted to become a surgeon. She is in a two-year residency in New York, doing cleft palates, correcting injuries to children, whether by abuse or accidents. It finally dawned on me that she would not be returning to Phoenix anytime soon, thus I needed to go to a new dentist. Dr. Henson, from all of her associations with a vast network of dentists in the Phoenix area, recommended that I go to Dr. Sameet Koppikar. I finally accepted her recommendation and saw Dr. Koppikar last week. Gretchen was correct. He was wonderful. I dont know why it took me two years to go to another dentist. I felt comfortable as soon as I entered his office. The staff were great. Then he walked into the room. Between his beautiful smile, sweet face, and sincerety, he had me at hello In fact, I am having more work done then I initially planned on because of the confidence I instantly had in Dr. Koppikar. Thank you and your staff for making me feel so at ease.

Ive had the pleasure of being a patient at Biltmore Dental for, roughly, the last eight months. During that time, Ive experienced nothing short of the best treatment in both services and customer service from the full staff and Dr. Koppikar. Prior to my relationship with Biltmore, it had been some time since my last dentist visit and after asking around for potential dental facilities to contact, I was referred by a close friend to Dr. Koppikar and the rest of the Biltmore staff. From the moment of my initial visit and throughout the entirety of my time with Biltmore, the staff has been welcoming and incredibly helpful, had no problems putting me at ease with some of the more complicated procedures, and ultimately put their best foot forward at all times. Theyre always open to any questions or concerns you may have, and they always keep in consistent communication with you inbetween, prior to, and during your visits. I would gladly and happily recommend Biltmore Dental Center to any and everybody looking for a dental services.

had an exam, cleaning, fillings and will have crowns after orthodontic treatment. There fees are reasonable. With now 2 children and one being a new born my biggest concern was having to pay so much for what I needed done. Chair side manners were excellent. I was completely comfortable and Dr. Koppikar answered all my questions. He also made sure that my orthodontist agreed with his answers. I been working in the same Plaza as Dr. Koppikars office for 4 years and have seen other dentist but when I met Cinthia (front/ back office employee) for the first time she pretty much took me in and made me feel like family. This made me trust her input on the doctor she worked for and once I met him I knew it was the right choice. Ive already recommended a few family members and friends to him and look forward to hearing there great experience. MH

Dr. Koppikar and his staff are great. They are very clear on pricing prior to treatment and explain everything to you so that you can make an educated decision on your care. I had two very deep fillings done at Biltmore Dental Center last year, and had zero discomfort. Dr. Koppikar is an exceptionally skilled dentist and has excellent "chair side" manner. He and the entire staff were very considerate and understanding of all my concerns. The hygenists are extremely knowledgeable and seem to really love their jobs. Its great to be around people who are so enthusiastic about what they do. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great dentist in the valley - oh yeah - I live in Sedona, thats a two hour drive to get to Dr. Koppikars office, and two hours back. Its worth it.

PROFESSIONALISM AT ITS BEST!!! I have been going to Dr. Koppikar for three years now. DeeAnn is a very professional hygenist who truly cares about her patients. I recently suffered a tragic loss and when I came in for my 6 month checkup after that, she remembered to ask me how I was doing. She does a wonderful cleaning and is very "in tune" to her clients. I know she is well versed on the most current trends in the industry and apapreciate her. Dr. K is warm and well-receiving. Hes a listener and is very sincere. Knowing that there are many, many options these days with dentists and their subsequent advertisements everywhere you look, I still choose to travel to Phoenix all the way from Gilbert to be a part of his practice. Thank you for the opportunity to acknowledge them.

I have been Dr .koppikar s patient from 2009 ..i have undergone few procedures which includes deep cleaning , root canal , wisdom tooth removal ...Even the toughest root canal didnt feel like anything but just a normal cleaning session .... Even an ibuprofen wasnt necessary for me ..iam still thinking what mite be the secret in his hands !! He is very much focused , caring and such a knowledgeable person who cant go wrong as far as his patients are concerned ... I had many issues while my pregnancy and he took such a care and gave high priority in completing the procedures faster and in making me comfortable ...I was hunting in the Dr.OOgle site looking for a great dental doc and he was there rated as no 1 in phx and i feel that he deserves to have that ... !!
