The center specializes in pediatric care, offering various services that range from routine check-ups to specialized surgeries.
Expertise and Care: Some patients and guardians have praised the center's medical staff for their expertise and care. One parent mentioned that the audiologist took extra time to ensure both the child and parent were comfortable during a hearing test.
Convenient Location: The center's location is considered convenient and less hectic compared to CHOP's main hospital in Philadelphia.
Specialized Treatments: Parents have reported successful surgeries and specialized treatments for their children at this location.
Wait Times: A common complaint among patients is the long wait times, often exceeding the scheduled appointment time by an hour or more.
Inaccurate Website Information: One patient mentioned that the website incorrectly stated the center would be open on New Year's Eve, leading to inconvenience.
Customer Service: Some reviews pointed out that the receptionists could be more cheerful and welcoming.
The medical staff at the center is generally well-regarded, with specific doctors receiving high praise for their expertise and patient care. However, there are isolated incidents where the staff's approach to patient care has been questioned.
The center is easily accessible with ample parking space, making it a convenient choice for many parents.
The CHOP Specialty Care and Surgery Center in Bucks County offers specialized pediatric care and is generally well-received by patients and their families. However, like any medical facility, it has areas that could benefit from improvement, particularly in terms of wait times and customer service.

I am beyond stunned by the poor patient care my 6 year old daughter received by the physician at CHOP Chalfont Urgent Care this evening. I was referred to the CHOP Urgent Care by the urology resident downtown. She needed a simple urinary analysis (my daughter has been under the care of the Department of Urology at the main campus in Philadelphia for several months now in regards to a chronic condition, potentially requiring surgery). We waited in a nearly empty waiting room from 6:22 pm until a nurse took us back at 7:10 to take her vitals. We then sat in a patient room from 7:15 until 7:50, when Dr. Kimberly Peace came in the room. Both the nurse, as well as the doctor apologized for our wait, but offered no explanation. The nurse entered the room shortly thereafter to take my daughters urine sample (which I had been holding for nearly an hour and a half). I explained why I had been sent there by the Urology resident on call. Dr. Kimberly Peace had total access to my daughters chart. She informed me that the in office dip showed no infection. I then asked her if she was sending the urine out for analysis (Im very familiar with the protocols by now). Dr. Peace said NO, that according to their protocol, she didnt see a need. I was floored. I explained (again) that the resident I spoke with sent me there exactly for that reason-a urinalysis, not an in office dip test (dip tests have been proven to miss abnormalities). Dr. Peace again refused. I confirmed that she was looking at my daughters medical history. (She is scheduled for an invasive test in several weeks. If she were to have an infection, that infection could potentially give inaccurate results. We are relying on the results of that test to determine if she needs bladder surgery.) She still refused. It was at this point that I gathered my daughter, and left the examination room. Within 10 minutes, she contacted the resident who sent me there earlier in the evening. That resident instructed Dr. Peace to send the urine out for analysis, as initially requested. I have worked in the Radiology Department of the University of Pennsylvania for more than 15 years. I am very familiar with the importance of quality patient care. I am beyond shocked at the poor patient care my daughter received. I honestly cannot figure out why Dr. Peace would blatantly ignore the residents request for a simple lab urinalysis. CHOP has an amazing reputation, which is why we choose them to treat my daughters condition. HOWEVER, I highly recommend that if you are ever at CHOP Urgent Care in Chalfont and Dr. Kimberly Peace walks in the room to treat your child, please immediately ask for another doctor. Her behavior was baffling to me. I can tell you one thing for certain-if you want the quality patient care that CHOP is famous for, run for the hills if Dr. Kimberly Peace enters the room to treat your child. Ask for another physician. This woman did NOT have my childs best interest at heart. I plan on contacting the director of marketing, as well as CHOPS billing office, for a full co-pay refund. I will submit an addendum to this review after I speak to these people. Sadly, I have only one word to sum up Dr. Kimberly Peaces patient care: Horrendous.

My son is 3 and is on the autism spectrum. He had a hearing screen on Friday and we were extremely nervous because our last screening didnt go so well (our audiologist deemed my son as "uncooperative" and suggested we use anesthesia to performake the test a different way). This past Friday we had an audiologist named Nancy, and she was FANTASTIC!!! She took her time, explained everything to me before she did it and made sure my son and I were as comfortable as possible (I think she could tell I was stressed out before we walked through the door). She definitely went above and beyond for me and my son! I hope she will be there next year for our next visit!!

We visit this location several times a week to see various specialists. The location has easy parking. The doctors are excellent but the wait times are awful. Its not uncommon to run an hour or 2 after the appointment time before you are seen. Most of the receptionist are a bit grumpy too. Still, its really the only option. In the area and if you manage to wait long enough you see a pretty good doctor most of the time.

They are closed today on New Years Eve. This was not correct on their website and did not know they were actually closed until driving 30 mins and seeing a sign on the doors. The website indicated open on all holidays. The KOP office is open.

My kid goes there for different things. The staff is helpful. The doctors have confidence in what they do. One of the doctors did surgery on my child and went very well. The front desk at this location could be a little more cheerful.

Always a good experience when bringing my son here for appointments. So glad that CHOP has set up this regional network that brings specialty care out to the suburbs!
