If you want to experience a GREAT place for your animal care, SVC is the best option. We always have many pets (cats and dogs), so finding a helpful and affordable clinic is important to us. Dr. Spanish, Dr. OBrien, and their staff are our "go to" for all out pet needs . Heres just a small list of "excellent" qualities you will find here...very professional, easy to contact and make appointments, call backs from even the doctors are prompt, do their best to squeeze you in during special times, very compassionate and caring, extremely trustworthy and confident with care options, never do we feel over-charged or "sold" additional services, provide optional house calls if needed, and all very affordable...they really do care about you and your pets, its like having a friend in the veterinary business!

Wonderful Place- Veterinarians that actually CARE about your pets and you! I cannot say enough GREAT things this practice and how they have helped and worked with me with my elderly dog that has heart problems. Ive been working primarily with Dr OBrien, who is not only a saint but an incredibly skilled physician and diagnostician but Ive also had great experiences with Dr Spanish as well. This is one of the few vets Ive found that are interested in doing whats best for you AND your pet and not just making money. I highly recommend the good doctors and staff at this clinic- I would not trust my pets to any other veterinary clinic now after experience the skill, care and compassion of Shakopee Veterinary Clinic.

I have been going to this clinic for years and recently was very disappointed with a visit with a sick dog. I felt that the new vet at this clinic did not listen to my concerns or validate them in any way. I am a nurse and know how important it is to listen to your patents. Nobody knows there pet at well as the pet owner.. Its very emotional to deal with a sick pet and you just want to make sure you are doing the best that you can for them. *2/6/14 I was contacted by the Clinic manager (Danielle) to follow up on this issue. She was very polite, kind and understanding. I appreciated the call and will keep an open mind about returning to this clinic. By the way, Danielle is very good at her job...

THANK YOU! Dr. OBrien, Dr. Spanish and the entire staff at Shakopee Veterinary Clinic! My wife and I have had pets all our lives and have been to countless clinics over the years. The care Bria received is by far the BEST we have ever found. We have several vet clinics within a few miles of our home in Savage but we will be driving to Shakopee from now on. Bria is an important part our family and she was treated and cared for like she was part of yours too. Shakopee Veterinary Clinic will definitely be recommended to all our friends with pets. This is the third veterinarian I have been to for my dog in Shakopee. I like the balance of quality care and affordability here. The doctors are very knowledgeable and involve you in the decision process for care. My dog has allergies and they have kept me updated on what new medications are on the market that she could try and have been great about calling to follow up with us. The place is clean and always smells good, and they seem to run fairly on time. Ive seen every doctor there and trust all of them. Thank you!

We simply love Shakopee Vet Clinic. We have an elderly pet and all three doctors have provided fantastic care over the past few years. In addition to being exceptionally competent, the entire staff (doctors, techs and front desk staff) is exceptionally loving and compassionate. Dr. Spanish has been calling our home weekly to check in on our old guy and this above-and-beyond service and care is so appreciated. I would recommend this practice without reservation to anyone.

Weve been using this veterinarian in Shakopee for over 10 years (both Dr. Kelso and Dr. Spanish)...theyve assisted us with yearly preventative care for our dogs, came to the rescue during a couple of pet emergencies, and patiently and caringly assisted us when it came to a very difficult decision involving our geriatric dog. This is a no-nonsense, well-priced, wonderful staff and practice. Weve also used their boarding services and have been very happy.

When my schnauzer Vicious died. The staff at Shakopee Vet were compassionate, kind and wonderful. They gave me his paw print and a sympathy card when I picked up his remains. My 16 year old schnauzer Griffin, is in good hands with this wonderful team of caring techs and VeterinarIans. We have been bringing our Bulldog to Ann since the day that we got him. He loves going to see her and everyone at Shakopee Vet Clinic. The advice and tips that she gives are the best that we have ever gotten. Since our first visit we have moved to Wisconsin and have looked for other vets for our Bulldog and have not found any that are as great as Shakopee Vet clinic. We still go there to this day and will for the future as well.

Working with Dr. Obrien and Shakopee Veterinary Clinic has helped both me and my cat tremendously. My cat is diabetic and we couldnt figure out how to get him regulated on his insulin at our previous vet; but after only a few visits here he was regulated with the right dosage. Shakopee Veterinary Clinic is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them and the great service they provide.

I really prefer using Shakopee Veterinarian Clinic over other places I have been to over the years because of the personalized attention and concern for your pet. Everyone is kind, knows you and your pets name, and are knowledgeable. I have taken my dog Malibu for regular check ups and had to for a couple emergency situations and they have done a great job taking care of everything.

I Love this Vet. and more then that they are so so Great with my cat that has diatabites....I would never ever think of going anywhere else.....and Trust me I have before I found them.............My fear is if I ever move out of state!!!!! I would have to take Dr. Keliso and all the Wonderful staff with me!!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much for everything...........

I used them for just the general services for both of my dogs. But my elderly husky has a condition that causes seizures so we go a little more frequently for blood checks to check his condition, we also use them for simple things like nail trims and more. They are just great here, always willing to help and have care and concern for your pets.

We tried several vets near our home without success. Finally found SVC and are so happy there. They truly care for our dogs and have been easy to get in with emergencies. Their prices are very affordable and they have never pushed us to make sales like other clinics have. We recommend SVC to 150% of people who ask.

i brought a litter of pups to get their shots and physicals done. The vet said they were all very healthy. When a couple puppies went home they came done with parvo and tested positive from their vet. I think they have always done shotty work and are liars. I would not recommend this vet.
