When I first started going here it was amazing, I was being seen at the Marcola Office, I was generally treated with respect and could always get a same day appointment. I had employer health insurance, I left that company to focus on building two small businesses, subsequently I had to get on ohp while trying to build my business into a profitable venture. I am not a low income mooch, Im trying to build my American dream, once I was on ohp, I was immediately switched to the centennial office and treated like a low class citizen dirtbag. They have two faces, one office caters to the "high class insured" that cant be bothered with the faces of lowly OHP patients, they send them into the ghetto to see the Pas and Nps and they will generally not care about serving you. The last two times Ive called to make an appointment for time sensitive matters, they wouldnt even Schedule me. They just keep telling me to call back at 7 am tomorrow, right at 7 am, to try and get a same day appointment. So now its like a lottery system for medical appointments? Im seriously considering legal action in regards to the discrimination of people on ohp. Doctor Moore is the only good doctor there. Dont trust the positive reviews, they all sound the same, written in similar ways. You can tell the negative reviews are genuine and accurately reflect the way things are.

I had read before going to this office that Dr Gee-Gott is an uncaring individual (Im phrasing it considerably more generously than others did), and thats pretty much what I got: shes just another doctor who *quickly* dismisses symptoms by prescribing whatever might seem to be a quick fix. If only problems could be solved so easily... not to mention that the side effects of some of those lab chemicals are - not surprisingly - even worse than the original condition(s). That, and the staffing involves a great many smirky/snooty chicks who dont seem to think that the place requires much more professionalism than a high school hallway. You obviously should not have to go somewhere for such personal matters, only to have the continual distinct feeling that the employees are snickering at you. But Ill still give the place a second star, if only because I was able to get prescriptions for pills that I already knew worked from previous experience. In other words, if you do your homework (because Dr Gee-Gott certainly wont), you can maximize an office visit by having already done most of the heavy lifting for her. Its a horrifying state of affairs when Google serves as a frequently-necessary preliminary step to seeing an irresponsible physician, but thats the 21st century for you...

I have been there twice and saw a nurse that quit a week after I saw her. They ave me a email doctor and than requested a male doctor and they gave me to what ever the guys name is. So i get lab work done and i call for and appointment for the lab work results. I get there and they dont have the results and home i went. Went back and the lab reports were there minus the thyroid test.Went to the lab next door and again had blood drawn. So I sit in the waiting room and in comes the doctor, at first it seemed to be ok but then he asks me what kind of insulin i am takeing, respond with the flex pen and he turns to me and says THATS NOT WHAT I ASKED YOU!!!!! WELL I GUESS I DONT KNOW THEN!!!. He finishes the check up and says to me that the info will be given to my doctor, I told him I dont have a doctor yet and NO NOT KNOW THE NAME AND BESIDES I REQUESTED A MALE DOCTOR NOT HER. I was pissed off and thought about getting up and leaving. A new doctor is on the way,. People beware this office is confused and and not qualify doctor care.

When it comes to routine visits to the doctor, what Im looking for is a, well, routine experience. I just want to get an appointment schedule that fits my routine, be seen by the doctor in a timely fashion, have a predictable experience at the business counter, and be on my way. Me and my family have been customers of Springfield Family Physicians for about 5 years, and Ive never been disappointed. On one occasion, my wife had a condition that was causing discomfort and we made an appointment. The condition worsened into severe pain so we showed up 40 minutes early. This was also on a Saturday. The SFP staff expedited my wifes appointment, immediately placed us in an examination room, and provided comfort and medical treatment for several hours. Everything turned out fine, Im happy to say, and the weekend staff at SFP deserve a medal for their professionalism and humanity.

Please dont go to Kristen Konig FNP! She is really smart but her bedside mannor is like a mag truck. She doesnt listed to you speak. She shows no compassion or empathy. I tried for 3 months jummping threw hoops for her and all she did was really mess up my medications. I still dont know what is wrong with me. Which in turn I had to take off work due to my body in a downward spiral of pain and side effect hell! I have never met anyone so frustrating in my life and Im 40. I put up with it because they have ur life in their hands we are at their mercy. I am so much worse off than before I went to see her. Please dont go see her wait until theres an opening for some one else. The rest of the place is wonderful. And the nurses and other staff are great.

Not happy with their communication or ability to get rxs sent in to the right place correctly. Even after giving them a list of everything I use with ndc numbers, and qty, they still didnt get it right even after about six back and forth phone calls to straighten it out. Also cant plan on being seen, had my appointment cancelled and needed to be rescheduled twice. Im going elsewhere... Only reason I gave two stars was that the nurse practitioner I was seeing was nice and knowledgeable. Further review, I gave them another chance. They still fail miserably. They didnt bother to tell me that the np I was seeing had left. Seeing another one, and its not a good fit. They still send rx off to wrong place. Ill be going elsewhere.

The staff at Springfield family practice are very rude especially the lady in the front that is name is cat.I do not know what her problem was with me she was very rude very unpleasant to speak with made me feel very uncomfortable and I was there for about two years and that when she came a few months ago thats when I started to feel uncomfortable I presented my feelings to the manager at Springfield family practice which that was a big mistake she was very unpleasant and rude she said that my feelings werent what was really happening so I ended up getting fired for me complaining to them about her staff treating me unfairly and discriminating against me so yeah that is my rating God bless everyone

I saw Kristen K. She is rude. Unprofessional. She made me feel like a low income person with no knowledge. She did not listen to me. In fact on several occasions I left crying. The staff treated me like an iv drug user for admitting to smoking pot...no I dont have a medical card...should I...yes. Oh and when I told her my daughter was transgender she asked me if she had ovaries...no she isnt hermaphrodite/or intersexed...She is transgender. Coming from a professional, she should know these things. I felt throughout she wasnt knowledgeable and rather hand me medicine, make me feel terrible rather then actually care.
