Stay away! Unprofessional! My husband was a patient back in 2009. He left all his military medical records at the office. It was his only copy. We moved, and he nows goes to a doctor closer to us. I called the office (and spoke with Cheryl) and they said it would be 1-2 weeks to retrieve the files. At first, I thought it was really odd. Why would a small office need 1-2 weeks to get me his files. Apparently, they go into a "basement". They said they would call when they were ready. I never heard from them. Some time passed. Then I called again (was referred to Lynn). They told me to email. I emailed them. I got a response of "Are you sure your husband was here?" That was NOT a good sign. Then they said, "Dr Murphy is backed up with the medical records requests, it is about a 12 week back up, but we will see what we can do for him." Uh... now its a 12-week backlog. She must have A LOT of unhappy patients if theres a 3 month wait to get your records back. I waited my 3 months. Then, I was asked to follow back up with them in 4-6 weeks because they still werent ready. I waited the 4-6 weeks, and followed back up. No answer, no reply, no call back, nothing. Just admit you lost my husbands records? Why make me wait MONTHS, chasing these records down?

I had (have) the same problem. I have been waiting over 4 months trying to get my records. First they claimed they sent them on a USB stick (!), but my new doctor never received. Then she said shed mail them certified mail. Still not received, I ask for the tracking number and she says the USPS cant track it! Thats exactly what certified is for. Then she said shed send them express mail because she knows theyll be tracked. Still never received and now shes ignoring my emails begging for at least a tracking number. And initially, her office person kept insisting that I had to pick them up in person (I explained over and over, Im now 300 miles away, Im not picking them up in person) and she wanted to charge me to get the records. I AM STILL WAITING. So incredibly disappointed and angry.
