Service was great, no idea what they are doing. Got my eyes tested right before I moved to Puerto Rico In August 2014. Paid for my eye exam and my glasses through my insurance. Came back for my glasses and the year supply of contacts that I ordered A week or so later and the girl at the counter said I owed nothing. I moved. I got a final notice in APRIL of 2015 saying if I didnt pay a remaining balance of 110.92, they were sending me to collections I never even received a phone call regarding my balance and they had my current number on file. I called THAT DAY April 3rd and paid the entire balance and they assured me they would be contacting the credit company and letting them know that the payment was made as soon as we hung up. On the 20th of April a credit company called me and told me I had an outstanding balance remaining with them. I told them I had paid it on the 3rd they said they had no record of that. Called Ritz, they said someone called the same day I made the payment. I JUST got off the phone with the collection agency who told me that no one called them until the TWENTY SIXTH to let them know the payment had gone through and that they sent my file to the credit bureau on the 18th. Everyone who works here is absolutely useless. I had pristine credit after moving to the US 4 years ago, never even late on a payment before attempting to build my credit so I could purchase a new car. These people are complete morons. Of course the credit company can remove the hit on my credit after 30 - 60 days, but the damage to my credit score has already been done. Now, because of this places complete incompetence, and to no fault of my own, it will take me months to regain the points on my credit score that they made me lose due to their negligence. Go anywhere else but here! I got completely screwed over and now I am stuck with broken Ray-bans after only a few months of wear and *12 packs of contacts that are the incorrect prescription for my eyes. Terrible business.

Watch out! Ritz in Belleview will let you wait 90 minutes for an eye exam and wants to make money anyway they can....both my husband and I had to wait over 90 minutes for our eye exams to be completed and I was told they "forgot" about me.....have vision insurance but when my husband didnt need glasses they made up a "medical" issue (which they didnt tell him he had) in order to make more $$ billing our medical insurance, which doesnt cover vision so that meant $90 out of our pocket. They werent concerned when I told them I didnt agree with their practice and was going to take my business elsewhere. So skip the aggrevation, save your money and find someone who cares about their patients and not their pockets.

I have been a patient ever since I moved to Ocala, Florida in 2009. From the very beginning even with staff changes since then, these eye care professionals have always been just that professional and courteous. I needed laser surgery in 2010 and they were the ones who not only found the cataract but set up and sent me to the laser surgeon. All has been fine and Ritz has kept up with my yearly exams and monitor my eyesight and keep me informed and up to date on any changes. They have a wide variety of frames and all the latest styles and their prices are reasonable. I would recommend Ritz eye care to anyone in the area that is looking for an eye care professional they can count on.

Recently abandoned my eye care specialist and went on a search for a replacement. Chose Ritz Eye Care from the phone book primarily for the proximity to my home. Excellent decision! The closeness to our home is only and added bonus. The clinic is clean and exudes a congenial, relaxed atmosphere. Staff are extremely friendly, organized, and professional. As such the patient feels quite confident in their care. Dr Ritz is likewise friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and more than willing to discuss any issues in detail. There is nothing more one could wish for. Highly recommend Ritz Eye Care and am looking forward to many more years of service there.

Fabulous! Absolutely Fabulous! I have been trying for years to find the correct contact lens for me, and have never been comfortable with the fit or the prescription result. Dr. Ritz gave me a very thorough eye exam, fitting me for contact lenses, and for the first time, I can see CLEARLY with my contacts and feel confident with my vision. Now I can go on vacation and enjoy all of the summer time activities without having to bother with glasses! Kim and the office staff are ALWAYS friendly and efficient! The service at Ritz Eye Care is beyond excellent. The staff is friendly, down to earth, and they make you feel very welcomed. The young lady, Kim is an expert at helping you find fashionable glasses that fit your face perfectly. The staff has been around forever. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. Dr. Ritz is also a professional and very kind. He is awesome at educating you on how to take care of your eyes and does a very thorough exam. My family and I have been going here for about 15 years now and dare to go antwhere else.

Staff friendly. Will not go back there. I requested an eye exam. Price was $90.00. After the exam I had to pay $140.00. I was then advised I had a fitment for my contact and that cost $90.00. They should have advised me they were doing this and it was going to cost extra. I havent paid extra(Sams Club) for that or glass exam. Been wearing contacts since 1981. Last $$$ from me. As I explained, how would they feel if some one took $90.00 out of their purse and not tell them. They need to change their disclosure policy.

We have been going to Dr. Daniel Ritz for years and have always found him and his staff to be professional and friendly. Dr. Ritz is patient and kind. His staff is always helpful and is happy to explain things to you about tests or insurance. They have a great selection of eyeglasses and contact lenses and Dean and Kim are always patient and helpful when you are trying on glasses. We have recommended Ritz Eye Care to our family and friends and they have been pleased with the recommendation.

I have had some very serious problems with my eye and Dr. Ritz has had to refer me to 2 different surgeons to correct the problems. My treatment and experience with Ritz Eye Care has been wonderful and I feel strongly that my sight would not be what it is today if it hadnt been for Dr. Ritz. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to accomodate whatever it is that you need.

Took my son for his very first eye appointment with them and they were fabulous. Very patient with his 20 questions and Dr.Victoria Rawls was amazing with the exam and keeping him calm when it came time for the eye drops. The lady who assisted him choosing a pair of new frames was very patient and accommodating. Thank you Ritz! You are fantastic!
