Went in for an examination, and Dr. Prusinski did a wonderful job of accurately measuring diagnostics and coming to a conclusion as to what I was experiencing, as well as set my worried mind at ease! The problem came when I inquired about having the guarantor of my insurance handle the copay later that night (per his request). While a simple "no" and brief explanation would have sufficed, a woman named "Donna" took the opportunity to belittle me with smart remarks and a demeaning attitude. When I asked if she would give him a call to discuss the matter, she refused and told me to do it myself, or suffer consequences if I refuse payment (which there was no indication that I was going to skip out on payment). This woman made me feel unwelcome in a place of healthcare, and has a knack of belittling and degrading the patients that her business was established to help. While I wont talk ill of the work that they do, OEC does not have the best office manager on hand when it comes to simple customer service.

I have gone to Ohio Eye Care or 8 years. I go back because of the great care and wonderful service! Derrick is the best! I wear glasses everyday, so selecting the right frame to compliment my face is important. I count on Derrick to guide me to make good decisions on frames. Rarely does a week go by that I do not get compliments on my glasses. He stands behind what he sells. I had a pair of frames that had faded over a year. He worked with the manufacturer to get them replaced. He helped me transition to no line lenses, which has really improved my vision, very patient with me. Can NOT say enough good things about Derrick and Ohio Eye Care.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience while visiting this office. The facility was clean as well as the staff being friendly and inviting. So many options frame wise and I was not pressured in any way with any of my decisions. They led me to what was best for me and my prescription. I was so impressed with the knowledge and care that I even purchased a second pair of polarized sunglass lenses to try for the first time. Going forward, I dont think I will ever wear another set of sunglasses without polarized lenses. I feel confident in the knowledge I received from this office regarding my eye health. I will be returning!

If I could give the Medina office a zero, I would. The Wadsworth office has employees that are nicer, less rude, and certainly less pissy. Its sad because Dr. Fernandez is amazing, kind, and thorough. Both my parents and I started going to the Medina office 15 years ago and it was great at first. Since Then, they have lost a pair of my glasses and refused to take responsibility for it, and their staff has turned over and been rude and snarky to both myself and my mother. Sad.

Theyre billing office charged my medical insurance and not my eye insurance. I paid the $10 copay for my vision insurance but now they say I need to pay a $40 copay from health insurance. Ive called on multiple occasions and they flat out refuse make the correction that they made. My wife had an appointment the same day and same insurance. They charged the eye insurance for her and she only owed the $10 copay. If I could I would rate it a -5 star rating.

The wait time here is horrible!! Arrive early for an appointment, wait an hour before even being seen by the 1st person, then another 20 minutes to see the next person, going on 2 hours since arrival and still havent seen the doctor. Very disappointing.

I have had very good experiences when getting both my eye exams and my glasses prescriptions filled at this location. Derek has helped fit me with the appropriate styles for my age and my needs. I thank them for the service they have provided me.

Can I gave them a ZERO. My insurance pays everywhere and everything. Called because I have cataracts, because it wasnt on the list, they wouldnt take me. They wouldnt even call the insurance company to see if they would cover. Shame on them.
