Best Doctors, staff and glasses ever, and anywhere! Since I have so much to say about the awesomeness, Ill break it down into sections: Receptionist When I first walk in the doors at Madison Eye Care, Im always immediately greeted by their receptionist. Shes always prepared for my arrival and greets me by name! She thoroughly goes over my insurance and lets me know what they cover and what they dont before we start. She also explains in detail the additional screenings they offer in the exams and why I should consider them. I never feel like there are any hidden fees and I always feel like confident in my exam costs before we begin. Technician I also always grab a coffee and cookie before the technician takes me in to start my exam. Right? Coffee and cookie at your eye exam?! Why not! I cant imagine my eye exam without it now! Anyway, Lance, the technician is always very fun and pleasant and he always has new equipment when I go in, so the exam is faster, less invasive and more comfortable. Doctors This give me more time with the doctors, and I have seen them all! Dr. Pete Mogyordy, Dr. Greg Kovats and Dr. Leah Steele are all wonderful and super personable! They always remember little details about me from the last time I was in and they always take their time explaining and educating me about my eyes and my eye health. The best part is they always seem to be learning more about new problems, like the last time I was there they taught me about harmful blue light from computers and what I could do about it to protect myself... without using the computer less of course! I always feel smarter and healthier when were done, and I cant wait to see them again. Opticians Then I get to look for new glasses with some of my favorite people, the opticians. We always spend so much time together that I feel like were family! Lindsay, Jen and Krista always help me find new and awesome frames and they never make me feel like it take too much of their time. We always have a blast and they always have the best frame designs and colors! Best part is with my prescription, my glasses are done by the next day! I thought only LensCrafters could do that! Overall, perfect experience. Everyone has such a wonderful time helping me and I always look forward to coming back. Thanks guys and gals, I look forward to my next exam!... but I just might be back to get those cool blue glasses before then...

Jenny Cholley

Dr. Leah Steele worked with my 10 year old daughter to help her with accommodative and convergence insufficiency and it has helped my daughter focus her eyes so much better now. With that came more confidence in reading and in school in general. She balances challenging her patients in therapy and knowing when to slow down during therapy and children are very receptive to her. She takes her time during eye exams and is in tune with eye disorders that the average eye doctor may not catch. We had been to eye specialists who did not catch our daughters problems. She is constantly doing things to enrich her knowledge, whether it is through seminars, reading or networking to provide the best resources for her patients.

Everyone at Madison Eye Care is AWESOME! I had a sudden eye situation that needed immediate attention. Even as a first-time patient they got me in right away. I was impressed with the office from the moment I walked in. It’s clean, inviting and modern. They use the latest technology from checking in to exam. They all treated me as though we’d been friends for years. Dr. Leah Steele is top-notch! She handled my situation with great care and genuine concern. She’s a down-to-earth doctor that doesn’t rush through the process. She treated me as family and made sure I understood my treatment prior to leaving. I found my new permanent eye doctor. Thank you!

I have been going to Madison eye care for many years, but that will change. I ordered glasses on 7/22/2016 and I am still waiting for them and its 9/8/2016 ( 8 weeks and counting). The glasses are nothing special. I could order a car from a dealer and have it built in less time. They have never called me to keep me informed, I have to call them every week and they tell me they will be in the next day but they never are. I have never in my life rated anything on line negatively before and I cannot give them less than 1 star or I would have.

Broke my Glasses on Super Bowl Sunday Night 2/7/16. Called Madison Eye Wear the next morning at 9:30 to get an appointment for eye exam. I expected a week or more wait. But no they had an time slot available within 2 hours. I was happy. I was checked in promptly, tech was amazing, optometrist was great. Picked out my frames. They told me at 12:45 that they would be ready by 5 pm same day. They werent lying. I got a call at 3:20pm. I am absolutely amazed that I went from broken glasses to new pair in a matter of hours. Thank You!!!!

Doctor was super friendly and helpful. However, I called the office because I had a question about my bill after receiving information from my insurance that showed a discrepancy. The lady I spoke with, Kim, was EXTREMELY rude. She started yelling at me and telling me I was arguing with her when I was asking questions about the difference being shown. When I was explaining my doctor visit she told me I was lying. I will NEVER return because of the lady I spoke with in billing, which is unfortunate because the doctor was great!

I have been seeing Dr. Mogyordy for many years and would never go to anyone else. Because of his demeanor, his sincere concern, his approach to eye health and being positive about any eye problems I leave his office feeling confident that life is good and under control. His office staff are wonderful. They make a patient feel very comfortable. They are always upbeat and cheerful. I have never had billing problems either. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The Office was clean and products were spaced out nicely so that multiple people could be browsing without feeling confined. Staff and Doctors were very personable and willing to assist in any way. Willing to provide the best "deal" for you based on your insurance. Staff was willing to give honest feedback for products. Overall I am very pleased to find an eye doctor as wonderful as I did at Madison Eye Care.

I work with Dr. Peter and Amy as a vendor and they are a great team. They truly care about the patients and their practice. They do many projects to support the community. If you need an optometrist or an optician in Cuyahoga County you should talk with Madison Eye Care.
