Ive been a long time client of Dr. Niki and her staff. I adopted a very large Maremma Sheepdog back in June who suffered from terrible fear and anxiety. I wasnt sure how he would be for his first vet trip with me and it took two of us to pick him up and get him in the car. I called ahead and warned them that I had no idea what to expect. When I arrived I left him in the car and checked in. Dr. Niki actually came out to the car, let him get acquainted with her and then climbed in the back of the car with him to do the exam. Oh my gosh! He did so well with her we were able to get him to come in the clinic to be weighed. They have also taken care of my cats, other dogs, chickens, ducks and ferret over the years. I feel my pets are safe in their care. Cant beat that!

I recently moved to Newburyport and feel very fortunate to have found the Newburyport Veterinary Clinic. Every staff person has been polite and helpful. Ive never had any trouble scheduling an appointment for anything from annual physical for one of my pets or a quick check on something that concerned me about one of the animals. The veterinary staff Ive seen have been friendly, clearly love animals and are comfortable discussing a range of issues with me. Ive had only positive experiences as have my furry friends from the dreaded annual trip for my cat to the dreaded grooming for one of my dogs. They all have gone smoothly.

My dog is an 11 year old Pekingese who has been in the care of Dr. Debra Burba since he was a puppy. She has always been great with any problems he has had in the past. Recently he had a really bad skin allergy that became infected. I called The Newburyport Veterinary Clinic. Told Dr. Burba what the problem was and she had me bring him right in. She ran some test, put him on a couple of meds and hes doing great. I dont know what I would do without her. Dr. Burba and the staff at the clinic are fantastic. Total professionals that really care. I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else.

The staff at Newburyport Vet truly care about all the animals they care for. They provided outstanding care and compassion to our first lab, Mason. He developed a vascular cyst that ruptured and had to be euthanized. They staff were accommodating and helped us with the process. We are grateful for all they did. We now have another lab, Bailey. Again they are providing outstanding care. They are always willing to offer advice when needed. They truly love all of our pets as if they were their own. I wouldnt go anywhere else for Veterinary care.

My name is Denise Picard and I can not say enough how wonderful DR Lagasse and her team have been to my dog, Buster.She diagnosed and has managed his diabetes, advised surgery to avoid a possible cancer situation, and has treated him for many infections. Dr Lagasse and her team are always willing to listen, and evaluate my dog when I need them. I believe they care for the animals they treat, as if they were there own. An incredibly kind group of people, who my family including Buster have had the pleasure of knowing!

She has always made time for me even when it was against her own schedule. I consider her to be on of the top veterinarians in the Merrimack Valley and Im sure whoever she has on her team has to meet her criteria.
