I try to avoid doctors of all types and have taken my pets to a non-traditional vet. But my old cat was having some health issues and he needed more than acupuncture and herbs for awhile, so I found Dr. Bowen. He is a very sweet and caring vet, and takes a LOT of time and care to see the pet and inform the owner. This can account for a bit of a wait sometimes, but I would rather wait a bit then know when it is my turn, I will get all the extra attention too. I have now had 2 animals there to see him, and am very satisfied. I have no issue paying for his services as I realize he has many years of expertise and frankly, it is harder to become a vet than it is a general medical doctor.

Edgewater animal hospital is hands-down the best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to. From the front desk staff to the vet technicians to the veterinarian Dr. Bowen himself everything was outstanding! The whole staff really took the time to help me when I found a stray baby kitten with a broken leg. Even though this clinic is an hour away from where I live I will keep going back to this clinic just because of how big their hearts are here. So if you are looking for a new vet I highly recommend this establishment thank you so much Edgewater Animal Hospital team you meant the world to this stray baby kitten!!

I have been going to Edgewater Animal Hospital for over 18 years. Dr. Bowen has helped me through several dire emergencies and the loss of my first dog. He and his staff are caring and compassionate and put the welfare of the animal first. They have always been very sensitive about the financial end of things, carefully explaining my options and different courses of treatment and relating the costs of each. I dont know how expensive they are compared to other vets but with the level of care I have received for my animals I have never even considered going elsewhere.

When I moved to the Maitland Area I took my cats to this vet and it was the best experience ever. I refuse to see another vet. Ive moved to the East Orlando area, and it is still worth the drive to go to Edge Water Animal Hospital, because the doctors remember you, really care for your animal, and it is still more affordable even with the longer drive. If you want a god vet that cares for animals and their health you must go here.

Dr. Bowen is the best ! He takes his time with your pet, you may have to wait sometimes but it is totally worth it. Ive been taking my dog there for several years and just recently took in a sick feral (stray) cat and Dr. Bowen was so very compassionate for this stray as though it was our family pet. I thank him and his staff for the the excellent care that I have always received.

I went to this vet for several years. I dont think I ever waited less than 45 minutes to see the vet, and the wait was usually over an hour. I finally switched vets after they couldnt fit my dog into the schedule when he was exibiting some concerning symptoms. After leaving, I have also realized how overpriced this vet was. Dont waste your time.

For over 20 years, I have been taking my pets to Dr. Bowen and his loving staff! Even after moving further away, its worth the drive to get this kind of loving care...the staff treats each pet like family! Ive laughed and cried with Dr. Bowen and his staff...if you want quality and loving care...this is your place!

Dr. Bowen and staff are compassionate and wonderful. I have been taking my 3-cat family here for 15 years, and sadly it was time to let another one go today. Twister had a great 18 year life, and when the time came to let her go Dr. Bowen and staff were there to help guide me. Thank You.

Knowledgeable techs and veterenians. Lots of care went into peaby. Wait time was a bit much, but after my last vet I made the switch to Edgewater animal hospital. They did not try to sell me extra services or extra medicine that was not needed.
