If I could give negative stars I would. I went into this urgent care facility because I just had moved here and had no primary physician at this point. I got blood work done and when checking in, I made sure to give my insurance information to the receptionist and specifically stated that all work done needs to be sent to an IN NETWORK facility. After waiting in the back for the doctor for almost 45 minutes (Keep in mind I was literally the first person in the door that morning), the Dr Apologized and said there were emergencies (Understandable). He then explained that we needed to run lab tests and again, I asked about my insurance and said it needs to be in network if it is going to be done, he replied "that is between Concentra and your health insurance". Long story short, I received a bill for $1,300 because the tests that were done were sent to an out of network provider which I specifically stated was not to be done and I did not authorize anything out of network. Why did I even give them my insurance information? The doctor told me he would call me with the results and I never heard from him, I had to go to a primary care physician and get everything re done and it didnt cost me anything. Fast forward to the dispute.. I was told they tried to call me multiple times and left multiple messages. Never had a missed call or a message. I had to keep calling Laura from Colorado (who was very nice) for her to tell me the charges stand because I was told what work was going to be done and they did their due diligence to treat me. This wasnt even what was being disputed and a way for them to dance around the problem. DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE CLINIC. PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS.. Wish I would have.

If I could give negative stars I would! I was involved in a car accident...rear ended...and my company sent me here. I was seen by "Dr" James Palm. I was in a lot of pain...he did not do any X-rays at all. I complained of head and back and right side pains...no X-rays! He then said you have full range of motion so you are cleared to go to work with no restrictions today! Same day of my accident. Yet he prescribed pain pills and strong muscle relaxant. After this 5 min examination I went to check out. The front desk person,Crystal, checked me out. My ride was coming when Crystal kicked me out of the office. She "had to clock out so I have to leave"! I told her I hope shes never involved in a accident and is forced to wait outside for her ride. I came back two days later for physical therapy. The nice Therapist said I have a nerve that is causing the pain...no heavy lifting. I told this to the "Dr" and he said no...you have no restrictions. Before this he said I remember you...it was hot the day you came in and your Son didnt come get you and you had to wait outside. Rude!!! I ended up telling him I am getting a second opinion and maybe a X-ray! He side youre holding your phone in your right hand so youre fine! So rude!!

How do you spell incompetence? C O N C E N T R A. Dont bother making an appointment. It will not matter. I waited over 2 hours to be seen when I was early for my appointment. People who walked in after me were leaving, having already been seen before I got in. The girls in the front, one of whom recognized me, seemed surprised I was still waiting. She had confirmed when I got there I had an appointment. And the rest of the staff? You may be better off asking a landscaper to perform an angioplasty for you. The results will probably be about the same, but at least youll be able to enjoy the last 3 hours of your life, instead of rotting in the waiting room. Seriously, go seek medical attention from burger King rather than here.

Nice facility, reasonably nice staff, wait time to be seen not too bad. But heres the crap part: I left with a prescription for antibiotic, which I really need, headed up the street to fill it at Walgreens. Pharmacist refused to fill it because it could react with another prescription I take (which I listed on my intake paperwork.. not sure why I filled all that out if they dont read it) and cause heart arrythmia. So he called Concentra and asked doctor to prescribe a different antibiotic. 3 more phone calls and 5 HOURS later, Im still waiting. They tell me file is on Drs desk but they are busy. Guess they got their money out of me and on to the next in the herd. Dont waste your time here. Youll likely regret it.

I had to take a physical for my job (off-shore oil field work) and I have to say this clinic did a great job. The physical took a while (3 hrs) but was very extensive (a request by my employer). The staff worked hard to make the experience quick -- but they also kept in mind that we were dealing with medical issues. As a result, they were always conscientious to close the exam room door when asking me personal questions -- which I appreciate. I used to be an advocate for battered women -- and the number of times doctors and nurses would leave exam room doors open during a consult are a sad commentary on American healthcare. Anyways, Concentra at this location rocked. Plus it is a super new and clean facility.

I had a massively swollen lymph node that was very painful. I went here to have a doctor look at it and refer me to a specialist. Instead, after sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours (when they werent even busy) I was seen by a Physicians Assistant who told me that it wasnt a lymph node, that it was my ovary. I went to my regular OBGYN, who laughed and checked my ACTUAL ovaries, which sit about 3 inches HIGHER in the abdomen than the sigmoidal lymph nodes, and told me nothing was wrong with my reproductive system. The idiots at this place dont even know their anatomy, so dont bother wasting your time there. Youd be better off seeing Miss Cleo for medical treatment.

Terrible customer service. I should have known it was trouble when the receptionist said there is a standard wait of up to 2 hours. When asked further about this she said it "could" be up to 2 hours if you need x-rays. After waiting 30 mins with no update I asked when I would be seen and I was given the same. "Up to 2 hours from when you arrive". Basically, if you have a workmans comp claim and have all the time in the world, go here. If you have a life or important things to do, dont go anywhere near this place. When did it become ok to have to wait 2 hours to be seen by a medical professional? It is painfully obvious they need more staff at this place.

I was very hesitant to come here, but it made sense at the time. The minimum charge will be $160. At lunchtime on Friday, I saw a doctor with no wait. I may have jumped ahead of a few people because I had (minor) bleeding - which is why I didnt want to drive to the HEB clinic and wait who knows how long. Everyone was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. The doctor respected my requests and took care of the problem. She stayed around until I had no more questions. The nurse provided me with an excess of supplies that I would need. I have no complaints with any part of my experience, and the waits were reasonable at every point.
