I am very disappointed with the customer service I experienced during and after my appointment. I gave 2 stars because the clinic was clean and professional, and I didnt have to wait long. When I got into the exam room, the doctor did all the talking and didnt really listen to my concerns. As soon as I said Id buy something from the front desk, she rushed me out the door in less than 5 minutes, with many of my questions unanswered. She wrote a prescription that gave me (what every website said was serious) side effects. When I called to inquire about it, I had to leave a message, and a receptionist called me back (not a nurse or the doctor) 3 hours later and relayed a message from the doctor that "the symptoms I was experiencing were not known side effects of the drug." I told her that I was 100% sure the symptoms I had were a direct result of taking the drug. 6 hours later, the receptionist called me back and said, "stop taking the drug." No other consultation. No alternative treatment. No concern whatsoever. Pretty disappointing and unprofessional, unfortunately.

Having seen many dermatologists over the past 10 years, I can say with certainty Dr. Pena is the best dermatologist I have been to. She actually looked at and felt my skin, and recorded both qualitative and quantitative evidence about it. She listened to what I was saying, and took the information I had given her into genuine consideration with her consult. Many times in other dermatologists offices, I did not feel the doctor truly saw or heard me--not so with Dr. Pena. I left feeling confident that she was committed to helping me achieve the goal I came in with, and that all my needs and concerns were both heard and addressed. I felt she did a thorough and expert job in her consultation. The facility itself is beautiful, and the staff are highly professional and courteous. The other great thing about Skin Solutions is that they have aestheticians on-site, so if your provider recommends a certain treatment, you can schedule it in-office. Total package care. Wait time was minimal and everything was handled in timely fashion.

I have been to several dermatologists and other doctors and no one could solve my problem. I went into see Dr. Pena as a last ditch effort thinking she would not help be either. She walked into the room, asked me one question(a question no other doctor has ever asked me), and told me what I had. I was very skeptical. I agreed to do everything she told me not thinking it would help but out of desperation and the hope that I could get better. I could not believe that within days of changing how I took care of my skin, I started to get better. It has been months now and my problem I had for years has not come back. I am so impressed with Dr. Pena, I tell all my friends and family to see her.

Went to Skin Solutions to have a laser procedure done with Melissa The girl who does the cosmetic laser thing. Overall the procedure burned like crazy for just a minute but was tolerable, so it went well. But what bothered me was when she walked me to the desk to pay she handed my chart to the receptionist then said something to him and walked off, When i was prompted to pay he asked if i wanted to add gratuity to the bill??? Since when do you tip your doctor?? He put me on the spot so i did give it..but man who does that! I give good tips all time time.. but never my doctor?? I dont know.. i just felt it was inappropriate. And i too had a few useless biopsys done that left terrible scars.

I did not visit the Nashville, TN location, but I was seen in Pulaski. I had three separate visits that had to be paid by myself due to the fact my deductible is 1,700. After these three visits and a separate referral to allergist no confirmed diagnosis was reached. I spent over a 1,000 to find out nothing. Not only that but during the collection process as I called in to make payments I was hounded to pay in full or set up a payment plan. If you have to pay for things out of your own pocket and money is tight I would not suggest this provider. Less than a year later, and after making several payments...they sent me to collections anyway.

I’m so happy to have found Skin Solutions Dermatology! I have always had issues accompanying sensitive skin, and only 1 in 5 dermatologists I’d seen before has taken the time to really look at my skin for more than a glance before prescribing the latest steroid cream. So I was sad to say goodbye to her when I moved to Nashville. BUT now I’ve met the team at Skin Solutions Dermatology, and I’ve got new hope for actually learning more about what might be causing my skin reactions rather than just putting Band-Aids on them.

Honestly, I love this place! My rating is purely based on the ppl whove serviced me. After checkin I never wait long too be seen.The office staff always greet you! Kelly, is so easy to speak with and very straight forward. She didnt make me feel like my skin condition was "contagious". Every visit has made me regret years of bogus appointments from doctors who didnt really listen and evaluate my issue. - Thanks again Kelly C.!!

Had my first visit today and saw Kelly, the nurse practitioner, for a full body skin cancer evaluation. Everyone was so professional, but very approachable and friendly, and the office was easily located and very clean. Kelly did a very thorough evaluation and explained everything well. Thankfully I only had one small suspicious spot and she excised it and it sending off for evaluation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE

Kelly Caudle is amazing. She was extremely thorough explaining why my skin was in its current condition, and what steps I would need to take to get to a better spot. I have been to dermatologists who walk in, write a prescription, and dont ask any questions or offer advice. Kelly acted as a consultant and my skin is looking great as a result. Visit her!!

Seamless check-in process on the ipad. I was in and out in half an hour. Doctor presented me two options for my vitiligo, a costly one and an inexpensive one. Was not pressured into choosing an option. Very satisfied with my visit.
