My family and I went to Aspen Dental over the Christmas Break. WE have a regular dentist in Franklin TN and thought we would go local because we live in Columbia TN. I asked to have a 6 month checkup and cleaning for myself, my daughter and my husband. I went back and they took so many X RAYS! My mouth was cut on inside from having that bite wing put in my mouth over and over and over. (keep in mind my family and I have our teeth cleaned every 6 months.) The tech took me back after the xrays and proceeded to ask me what problems I have. I let her know I needed to have my teeth cleaned and didnt really have any issues. The tech then did her exam. Then left me in the room for 45 min. I got up and went around the corner to see what was going on. The dentist came back after I went to find help. She told me that I had periodontal disease, I needed a root Canal and 2 fillings. My jaw dropped. I asked the Doc if I was going to get a cleaning. She said it would be against the law to clean my teeth now that she had given me this diagnosis!!!! I turned and asked the tech how my teeth and gums looked. She said that I didnt even have any plaque to remove. Then I asked about having the cleaning again and they told me it is really a pointless process, we are only polishing your teeth. I asked my I needed a root canal on a tooth that isnt bothering me... they said that it will so I need it now! I looked at the xray and asked where the infection was? There isnt any. I looked at the dentist and said, I can wait for the infection, that tooth has been like that since my kids was 3, she is now 18. I can wait. I didnt try to ask about the "cavities". I said thank you and got up. Went to find my daughter. The dentist was showing her how she needed to have 4 fillings. I looked over her xray and said ok, thank you. Are you going to clean her teeth, I asked The dentist said that the tech didnt have time today. I said ok, told my daughter to get up and we went to find my husband. My husband was sitting in a chair talking with a dentist. He was advised that he needed a partial, he needed to put a cap on a healthy tooth because it was next to a cap and would get a cavity someday. I looked at my husband, said when you are done, come find me, I am going to check out up front. that was another problem. I paid what they said was due for the days exams. the receptionist told me that I wasnt going to get any surprise bills,,, yes I did ask her that. She said that if the bill they gave me is wrong and more is due they would eat the difference. Well today I got a bill after visit my regular prior dentist, who cleaned my teeth, took an xray and told me that I DO NOT have periodontal disease, I do not need any fillings and I do not need a root canal. He chuckled and told me that my teeth, gums and mouth were healthy and cleaner than most they work on.

I have no complaints! I was seen 2 days after being seen in the ER for a tooth where part of my age old filling had come out from previous dental care done in another state & I decided to go a month without making a dental appointment. Needless to say thats why I ended up in the ER. I was on antibiotics & pain meds at my 1st visit, but as a new patient I still had to undergo the necessary procedures to be established. I had signed in about 10 minutes late and didnt get 1 ill expression or comment, I was received and seated with all smiles. My x-rays were done with care & sensitivity as my tech knew I was in pain. I was guided throughout the office for each step in the process, everyone introduced themselves with smiles, eye contact & firm hand shakes. Everything was explained by the letter & all my questions & concerns were addressed. I sat with the office manager prior to departing and scheduling my next visit which resulted in Approved financing for my dental needs. Coreys conversation was open and unrushed and I was well taken cared of! My hygienist cleaned my teeth yesterday and put a new pep in my step! I had no pain and was confident about my new smile! All the staff members have presented themselves organized, informative and caring team players with a smile. Ill send my family!

I was very disappointed with my permanent set of teeth. The teeth were very small compared to my real teeth. Even the temporary set looked more natural than the set I was stuck with. The fit is very loose. My family and friends told me I should not have to use adhesive to keep the new set secure and not FLOP around. My temporary set looked much more natural. I feel a elementary art student could have carved a more natural looking set of teeth. I even took pictures of myself smiling with my natural teeth and how I wanted them to look. The bottom partial hurts by imbedding itself into my gums. They tried to adjust both the top and bottom with out much improvement and told me I need to use adhesive to secure the fit because they couldnt adjust them any farther. My hygienist is very pleasant , caring and professional. I had a cleaning two days ago and was very satisfied with the experience. BUT I am looking for another dentist for any future work I may need done. My insurance will only pay for dentures once in 7 years so I am stuck with what I have for now, and WILL NOT use aspen for that again and will not recommend them to any one else. I have a friend that is experiencing similar problems at another office in another county.

WORST DENTIST WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! Dr. Hossain is condescending, unprofessional and does not care about his patients! My mother had dentures fitted by Dr. Hossain and has had nothing but problems from day one. Her bottom dentures have never fit, always popping out if she tries to eat anything. She has gone back numerous times and Dr. Hossain just tells her shell have to get used to them and use more Fixadent. Then, two teeth fell out of her upper dentures. They wanted to glue them back, but we insisted on a whole new set due to the MANY issues she has had. Dr. Hossainis now saying that the bottom denture are not the ones he gave her?? What?? Seriously?? These are the dentures she was given!! My brother also quit going to this dentist when Dr. Hossain arrived due to the disdain he shows for the patients. Mr. Derryberry, the Finance Manager says he is trying to work with my mother, but it has been the issue has still not been resolved and they will not give us a time frame on when it will be resolved. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TEETH DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! THEY CARE ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE AND NOT THE PATIENT!!
