I have a impact wisdom tooth and went in to get seen. Initial visit they said I didnt confirm the appointment so they gave the spot away. I pulled up the email and text that both were confirmed to and they said I had to confirm in office which neither said I had to do. They ended up "making room" for Me. The doctor was very pleasant and I was in and out quickly. We scheduled to get my wisdom teeth out two weeks later. I was supposed to go pick up a prescription from them for anxiety medication to take the day of the procedure. When I got there they informed me that the dentist would be out and they would have a temp doctor in. This is 3 days before my already paid for procedure. They said he would do it but would not be giving me the nitrous oxide I was told I would be getting and paid for. They did say I could get a refund for the gas. So, day of procedure. My husband took a vacation day off work to drive me, we paid a sitter to get our daughter off the bus and stay with her until we got home. My appointment is at 2:30. We pull into the parking lot and Im talking to my husband about what to make the kids for dinner and I get a call at 2:15. Its from the Aspen dental telling me the dentist wont take out my wisdom teeth because they are impacted. I went in to speak with the manager. She and the staff were nice enough but it doesnt make up for the most unprofessional experience I have ever seen. I will be getting my money back and never returning. I hope you all think twice before giving this company your business.

Awful experience at Aspen Dental. I went to the location in Pace, FL. I scheduled my appointment, over a month away because they said they had no available openings anytime soon. I scheduled my appointment in July, and my appointment wasnt until the end of August. They then told me that the cleaning would not be done the same day. The only thing that I would have done with the appointment is x-rays and an exam, and "treatment plan". They stated that the cleaning would be a separate appointment- total waste of my time. When I arrived at my appointment, I filled out pages of paperwork and the x-ray tech came and got me for my x-rays. When my x-rays were almost done, a receptionist walked in and told me that I needed to leave because they didnt take my insurance. During the scheduling process, I verified that this office accepted my insurance and everything was good to go. But apparently it was not. The office staff is very rude and not helpful. The only good thing about this experience was how kind the x-ray tech was. I could tell that she felt bad for having done all the x-rays, and then the rude receptionist coming in telling me that I needed to leave. Will not return to any branch of Aspen and would not recommend to anyone.

Today is the last day that I came this company. I attended Aspen Dental more that 2 years. It was the good quality and the friendly company. But last year the service became worse and worse. Today’s visit for cleaning was terrible. They didn’t make ultrasound cleaning; they used only metal instruments. Really! In what century do they live? When I came home, I discovered that tartar is still on my teeth .They cleaned only partly for full amount of money, reduce time of the visit to 10-15 minutes, and increased the price for visit. Several visits that I made before, I received full services include the ultrasound cleaning. Moreover, it this time they tried to push me to buy additional services that I didn’t want to buy ( I have no insurance; so, its not acceptable for me ). For example, a receptionist told me that its requirement to make x-ray and the doctor visit every year ( for an additional price) or they cant provide any service to me.Same situation with trying to sell me the additional service was six month ago ( doctor told that it required by law ), but today quality of the cleaning became the worst and sales attempts became ultimatum.

They got the job done. My name was called. They did not have me verify my name and date of birth. They did not ask me if I could be pregnant. They gave me a chest and abdomen lead shield but no thyroid shield. They took multiple xrays pointed directly at my thyroid, again, I had no thyroid shield. (The thyroid is very sensitive to xrays) I then saw the hygienist who was thorough but the procedure was painful. I had come in for a cleaning but was then told I would have to reschedule for said cleaning as I required a deep cleaning. The deep cleaning was extremely painful. I mentioned it several times, wincing, crying out and I even had tears. Only then did my hygienist give me anything to numb the pain. She spoke a bit in the beginning of the procedure but was silent through most of it. No music, no talking. Nothing to remotely take my mind off the pain she was causing me. Now, they were professional and courteous and no one can feel your pain but you. So, all in all I will go back but it was most uncomfortable.

Absolutely awful! I have had my teeth worked on and extracted by an array of dentist. From the military dentist when I served in the army to the health department when I had nothing and I cant even fathom how a dentist can pull 3 wisdom teeth out in 15 minutes having to cut out 1 and prescribed my husband I b profen. I called this morning thinking it was an honest mistake or that they fax pain medication straight to the pharmacy because I couldnt imagine a licensed dentist would leave someone in such excruciating pain. Ive never seen my husband out of it like this and its awful! He is literally delusional and in shock from the pain. This was his first dentist experience ever period. And he is scarred and terrified to go back! The receptionist informed me that they dont care and they ONLY prescribe i b profen. And they were perfectly fine with my whole family finding a new dentist.. Im just dismayed by the utter lack of remorse for my husband. I cant believe they did this!

My husband, and, I had appointments for cleanings today. When we arrived, my husband was signing his paperwork, and, inquired why there was a several hundred dollar payment. He was told he was scheduled for procedures to treat gingivitis. He said he was of the understanding that he was scheduled for routine cleaning. The hygienist was called to explain the procedures. The hygienist told my husband he needed these procedures. I told the hygienist that I was with my husband during his appointment, and, no one mentioned having these procedures. She stated he would not have been scheduled for them if they were not necessary. When questioned why we were not notified, we were simply told we had been. We decided to leave the office at that time. As we were leaving the hygienist called after us "This isnt Burger King. You cant have it your way." I would never recommend this clinic.

I went to Sand Dollar Dentristy in Foley, Alabama. The dentist there had a bad bedside manner and he screwed everything up even my dentures. I lost 10 pounds in the first 7 days after my procedure. I went to Aspen Dental and saw Dr. Dickinson. His staff and himself are absolutely amazing! They are getting me new dentures and on the right track. I absolutely recommend them to everyone!!! Stay away from Sand Dollar Dentristy. UPDATE: I got my new dentures today. Dr. Dickinson, Sydney, and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing! I had 4 fittings today. The new dentures feel wonderful in my mouth. I cant thank them enough for all they have done for me. They took the pain away that Sand Dollar Dentristy caused me. Dr. Dickinson and his staff have been a true blessing. I thank God for people like them. I am feeling beyond blessed and so grateful right now.
