Ive been a care plan member (on the east coast) going on 5 years now. This program works for me since I travel a lot and like the flexibility of seeing different drs all over the country. Im visiting family in Washington and yesterday I went into the Renton office with my mom who hadnt had an adjustment in years. Dr Trousdale was super sweet and knowledgeable on soft tissue and spent a lot of time with my mom. I have to give this honest feedback because even before the joint Ive received chiropractic care since being a teen. Ive been adjusted by many women and men and have no preference when it comes to who adjusts me. Dr. Trousdale was not strong enough to complete a lot of movements on myself and my mom leaving us in a little more pain than before. My mom couldnt tell the difference since she doesnt get adjusted often but it put me into a bad place later that afternoon. It got so bad 5 hours later I had to see another chiropractor near my moms house as a walk in to complete my alignment. The main disappointing aspect of this situation was the fact that we drove 30 plus miles to receive this treatment. I paid the fee for my mom as a walk in and even left my card on file so my mom could re- visit in the future, despite me not feeling satisfied and assuming my mom did. The Dr I saw the same day upon my return to Tacoma is a reputable chiropractor. with his own practice. He mentioned to me the condition of my back would have been worse had I not seen him for correction yesterday. Again, this is honest feedback and the Dr had nothing to sell to me knowing I live across the country and have no reason to come back to his office. He gave me an adjustment for free and offered me a free 30 min massage by the therapist in his practice. (Thats just to further clarify this wasnt a sales tactic) Other than my above rant the ladies at the Renton office were extremely professional and nice. I think feedback is what makes businesses better and individuals better at their craft. For someone whos been adjusted over 1,000 times (seriously, look at my chart lol) I take my spine health very serious and expect my services to be satisfying and leave me in a better position than worse.

My husband and I visited the Joint Chiropractic at the Landing in Kent, WA on July 14th on 2017. We got off late and rushed over and got in the door about 2 mines before closing. Having been on an extended work trip, I was in desperate need of care and in a lot of pain. Mainly I attribute this to long hours and the hotel bed leaving much to be desired. Dr. Martin agreed to see both of us we were thankful. However that thanks quickly turned to angst as for who only knows what reason, Dr. Martin during my adjustment bent down and kissed me on my forehead. He told my husband some none funny joke and thought that was the punchline. My eyes were closed and I was in shock. so was my husband. This after researching with internet, respected chiropractors back home and our attorney we realize was assault. When we left, my husband told him to keep his lips to himself. We however, did not want this to go by and subject someone else to his action. He also used off color jokes referring to my "table top" and that his wife often spills things on hers. We will be lodging complaints against this business, with the BBB and want to warn others. No Doctor has the right to touch a client in anyway other then professionally. Dr. Martin should not be in practice and I want to warn all women and men about what happened to me.

This review is corresponding to Nikki White. I have the total opposite experience than she did. For those who wants a real review, I will write one. I have been a patient of The Joint for about two years. I am a Dental Hygienist so I do get constant neck and shoulder pain. I am there once a week for an adjustments. Dr. Martin is very passionate about his job. Whenever he does my adjustments he makes sure it is done correctly and properly. I am sad that hes no longer there. Shame on The Joint managements on writing that he was terminated - that was very unprofessional. Theres way of saying without writing that. I rather see people love what they do and try to connect with their customers or patients. Dr. Martin was kind enough to adjust Nikki and husbands back before closing. From my experience, many people like to close and run home to their live ones. A kiss on a forehead considers as an assault? Ive been adjusted by chiropractors that literally felt like my rib cages was going to break. Shame on what this society is coming to.

Horrible scam chiropractic care. They focus more on selling you a package membership which is the first red flag. The exam is nothing more than a quick lookover. This place preys on the dumb telling parents its ok to take their young children in. No real chiropractor would ever crack a 3 year olds bones. No real chiropractor will claim he can cure skin deseases and ear infections like this scam doctor does. If youre an adult feel free to come here but look at other options. This place is a stupid chain so if you think your best option is going to the Super Cuts of chiropractic care than thats on you but do not allow them to convince you to bring your child here. Hes not gonna cure their alliments no matter what he tells you. Remember, hes trying to get paid and only makes $22 an hour.

Dr. Evan Ginsberg is my favorite chiropractor here in the Seattle area, so much so, that I commute for an hour and a half each way by bus each week for him to tune up my spine! Evan is one of those talented chiropractors who can vary his adjustments to exactly what you need, and has the strength and the patience to do it right. He is relocating to Vancouver Washington at the end of the month :(... Ill miss his zany sense of humour and his excellent adjustments!! (but not the commute)

I Love Dr. Martin and his staff at the Joint - Renton! Dr. Martin is a top notch chiropractor with 20+ years of experience. Hes friendly, curteous, and loves helping people. His "bedside" manner is supberb, and his personality is relaxing. The other benefits of visiting his clinic is that you dont need to schedule an appointment, and it only takes +/- 10 minutes to get adjusted, etc... However, hell also take the time to thoroughly answer questions and concerns if needed.

I had the sunday chiropractor, Dr. Glass adjust me today and he was fantastic. I am a chiropractor myself and Dr. Glass was thorough and precise. I would like to address a negative review by Anthony Sullivan. He makes some ridiculous claims not found in any research or literature. Chiropractic adjustments are safe for newborns. Chiropractic is essential and necessary for healthy children. In some cases, they are even life saving.

Never have a doctor available! I recently moved from Arizona where The Joint is awesome. I was excited that The Joint was also in Washington...problem is this month I have arrived three separate times and there is no doctor available. Their suggestion was driving to the Redmond location. At this point I am considering just cancelling my membership...
