Very mean. The vet wouldnt help me out at first and just said my dog was dying and that there was nothing to do. However, he did not explain what was happening, and kept avoiding eye contact with me and saying that he had to go because he hasnt eaten all day. I was crying the whole time for explanations. Worst experience of my life. Traumatizing actually... its a block away from my house, and I literally take the longer path to avoid seeing the building. The staff did nothing other than watch the vet be very mean and cranky to me during my dogs toughest times.... Also would like to add that he just kept repeating that real doctors make more money, and animal hospitals dont make money because people do not pay their bills. If you are looking for someone who really cares for the animals, and who are both nice to the owners and the animals, I recommend someone else. Very traumatizing, and it has scarred me.

Worst Animal Clinic Ever. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after misspelling two of my cats names on their records, but after two incidents with these "veterinarians" I am sad to say they have lost my business. First, I bring my cat in for furballs. There is no discussion on what to do or what to use. They tell me they will give him a "laxative" that will help with digestion. "Laxative" in this case being petroleum jelly. Then today, even more terrible communication on their part. I come in for a yearly checkup. The vet there tells me that my cat needs REQUIRED vaccinations. I get the vaccinations done, and it costs over $150!!!!! I ask why there was no requirement for vaccination expressed on the yearly checkup postcard they sent me, and I the response FROM THE SAME VETERINARIAN is "Oh well these are only recommended, not required."

My diabetic cat had one mishap at this vet, but overall they really care deeply for each pet. I remember Dr. Reed warming new born kittens in his overcoat as he tended to the needs of my diabetic cat. And Pam at the front desk as well as one of the administering vets was empathetic when I had to put down a rescued cat. I am switching my vet from Staten Island to Bayonnes Animal clinic because if theres an emergency, I know I can count on them. And today happens to be one of those situations. My Staten Island vet, Bandfield Animal Hospital didnt have time, can you believe it? Thanks to good ole Bayonne vets who are more interested in helping pets than their corporate schedule.

A+++ I highly recommend the Animal Clinic of Bayonne - I wish I had brought my dog Jill here sooner. I called to schedule an appointment and they fit me in within 24 hours - though I may have been lucky because the Animal Clinic is on the smaller side for animal hospitals :) Dr. Horton was fantastic. She was extremely gentle and thorough while examining Jill and she took her time explaining what I needed to do and when. I feel like I have "discovered" a hidden gem for my dog and all of her needs :). The entire team here is clearly passionate about providing the best and meticulous care, which really puts this facility in my best of the best category :)!!!!

Recently we adopted two kittens from the shelter. One became very sick with a high fever. I was given an immediate appointment during the Christmas holiday, we were received warmly and compassionately, and they took our little baby immediately. They were gentle, caring, and accommodating to our emotions and our kittens illness. He is home now and thriving. We are very appreciative and grateful to have the staff and doctors at the Animal Clinic of Bayonne. Highly recommend!!!

This place is terrible and has terrible service, I called one Sunday morning explaining to the secretary that my dog had lost his whole nail and continuously bleeding and that it wasnt stopping at all and she continued to tell me that they couldnt take my dog in until 2 and that there was nothing she could Because she had an appointment at 12 with a patient. Keep in mind I had called around 10 in the morning.

Do not say youre open on Sunday if youre not taking animals. I called today. My cat hurt her leg they told me they only take emergencies on Sunday and my crying cat on the phone did not qualify as an emergency so now I must wait for my regular vet WESTSIDE ANIMAL CLINIC tomorrow to open to take her. Im not a vet but now must rely on google to care for my cat the rest of the night.

Called for a quote after moving from Manhattan. FeLV shot cost twice as much as it does in the city and the office visit was the same price! I am sure they are a lovely veterinarian office but the prices rival that of Manhattan!

The staff there really loves animals. They were attentive and caring. The only reason I couldnt give it 5 stars was for the wait time. I was seem almost an hour after my scheduled appointment.
