Michelle Alaniz the clinical director of childrens ssrvices is not the most up to date insividualmon developmental delays or autism and behaviors. The staff members focus on a childs weaknesses in behavior rather than establishing relationship and ignoring the behavior to non preferred tasks. The idea of sending a developmental delayed kid with a disability home each time they display a behavior due to under developed brain and imbalance of neuro transmitters is only reinforcing the negative behavior to escape the non proffered task. The clinic director really focuses on behavior and states her staff is unwilling to help a child meet their goals due to behavior. A passionate director and child service provider would work with a child through their disability to meet their goals no matter how long it took as long as the child met their goal. If you feel youve been under served and disqualified unfairly please report the agency to the state. This amount of discrimination should not be occurring.

I was at Casa Colina for two weeks for therapy after having been in a diabetic coma. This is the finest place I have experienced or even heard of as far as rehabilitation and assisted living/therapy are concerned. The medical staff is dedicated to your well being and safety and the therapy staff takes the time to not only help you do the work, but explain why they are doing it and how it will help you attain your goal of getting your life back. Safety is the number one priority. When I first got here, I could not get out of bed on my own and had almost no stamina or strength. Two weeks later I am walking unassisted and am well on my way to being independent. Overall, everyone is interested in seeing that patients are safe, working towards achieving their physical and even mental health to where it was before whatever happened to you. I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Colina for your recovery/therapy needs. There tends to be a waiting list to get in here and after two weeks I understand why.

I had to vent on Casa Colina Center for Rehab in Pomona, Ca. This is the second time our family has had a need for rehab services. I was disappointed the first time when our brother went there, but pretty much blamed my brother for not "cooperating" enough and he was asked to leave. Now, close to 5 years later, I am disappointed in Casa Colina again. I see now what I suspected from Colina is true. Colina only wants to put on a show of successful, quick statistics. Colina doesnt care about the patient, only the statistics. If you dont advance in therapy to their expectations, they are quick to ask you to find another place. They are very vague about those expectations even when asked specifically. I would never recommend anyone place their loved ones there again. Shame on you Casa Colina! Casa Colina is a beautiful place and they should focus their concern on their patients recouperating and not how lovely their grounds are.

From all the hype, one would believe this was truly an exceptional facility. The decor is pretty, but once past the thin veneer, myriad problems become apparent. Nursing shortages, incompetent or insufferably arrogant doctors and therapists abound. It becomes a "gotcha" game for the long term care planning. When individuals are honest about limitations, staff attempt to massage their words into whatever fits the facility check list, rather than utilizing a bit of creativity. I would urge others to look elsewhere, if at all possible.

This is heaven on earth here, the staff is caring, patient and over all AMAZING!! Im here scared but because of the staff willingness to spend their time talking to you and explain their experiences with you I now understand whats going on I understand and am now relaxed. I love this place and cant say enough good things about it. I would recommend all my family and friends to come here. the facility is clean and very well taken care of. Do yourself a favor and come here if you need this kind of service you will never regret it.

I dont have good memories of being in casa colina as a patient, I almost got gangrene on my right leg, the nurses took almost 3 months to remove a special boot from my leg, I had developed an infection, they didnt want to remove the boot, they removed after my ex asked why after 3 months I still had the boot. I have the scarred leg to prove it. This people could have blamed have had the accident and the infection for developing gangrene, could have become an amputee To prove it

Only reason this is not a 5 star is because to make an appointment for an ultrasound, they were giving me a wait time of one month. Turns out I have a hernia that needs to be fixed, which explains 4 weeks of agony. I was lucky to have an opening turn up sooner, but imagine if I would have had to wait that long and in pain. Staff is polite and once you do get there for an appointment or xrays which dont require appointments, wait time is reasonable.

Casa Colina is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST rehab and physical therapy center we have ever been to. Their live in facility has produced excellent results for our family many times. The food in the cafeteria is so good that I plan my visits here around meal times.

Clean, modern, well-equipped facilities with amazing therapists, doctors, and staff. In-patient, transitional, and out-patient services. If youre recovering from a neuro or ortho injury or illness, this is where you want to be.

I was a patient at Casa Colina on for therapy. I highly recommend C C for therapy. They have excellent therapists. I was a volunteer at CC for around 25 years and loved it. The staff is wonderful to work for.
