This place has been ok in the past. Went there today because i have an infection thats not going away. I also had a swollen lymph node in my neck. Took a urine test and waited for an hour in the room. The "doctor" came in checked me out. Then asked me what emergency room wanted to go to. Then on the way out i asked about the urine test. She said oh there was a little blood in your urine. Really? You werent gonna tell me that? I have to ask? Then i said what about this lymph node? She said oh...you wanna be treated for that too? Those are lymph nodes it means theres an infection. Really doctor???!!! Then i paid 236 dollars and was on my way home. Ive been here before a few years ago and it was great. But this time the receptionist and the 2nd nurse that gave me water was the best part. Oh yeah they dont take united healthcare. So just go to the ER or go to wellspan. But either way the healthcare system is a joke.

I went to Patient First because it was a Sunday and my family doctor was closed. I had been feeling sick on and off for about two weeks, when it finally came to a head on Sunday. I woke up with a horrible sore throat, swollen glands in my neck, and body aches. I could hardly get out of bed and shower to go to the doctor. They tested for strep throat and mono, both of which came back negative. After a 45 minute wait and a $50 co-pay, the doctor told me viruses can last for a while and that I should basically rest and wait it out. I went to my family doctor the next day for a second opinion because I was obviously very sick and needed antibiotics. I had a fever and he discovered that I did have strep throat and prescribed me antibiotics immediately. Not only did I pay $50 for nothing, but I lost a day that I could have been healing on antibiotics and half a week of work thanks to their misdiagnosis.

Dont bother coming here without any form of insurance. They will rip you off and not give you the service you deserve. They are still getting their money either way but theyll treat you like a number. I could have gotten more information doing my own research then being told and charged for the ridiculous office visit that they charged. Just to be told to use sudafed and nasal spray for the start of an infection. The doctor didnt even check my lymph nodes or heart. Nothing at all. I came here a year ago with insurance. Everything was different then. I ended up having a triple infection. Double ear infection, sinus and eye infection. All because I ignored the pain in my ears. I dont recommend wasting your time or money in this place.

I went there trying to get my ears checked for wax. I dont have insurance, so I asked for an estimate for just the checkup. They told me they couldnt give me any estimate until after they checked me out. They wanted me to sign a paper saying I would pay whatever they charged after receiving the checkup, but they refused to even tell me a rough idea of the cost. I even asked if it would be between $100-$500. Their only response was that they couldnt give me any idea until afterwards. I walked out. Im not going to get a checkup without any idea of the price. Go to Welspan Ready Care on Queen street. Their prices were reasonable, they gave me an estimate, and they were very friendly.

They are fast. Its a great place to go if you just want drugs. I went in for a headache that I had since last week trying to learn what was causing it also concerned if it had anything to do with the concussion I had last month but I got seen for about 3 minutes. Then I was told that I had a headache. She wanted to give me a shot without even telling me what it was and because I didnt want a random shot that means I am against medicine. So instead I got a prescription for something that I was told nothing about. She said if I wanted better treatment I should of went to the ER and I still could if I wasnt satisfied. Like I just have lots of money to waste on copays for nothing.

All of the staff that I interacted with were very polite and attentive. I went to the location in East York, Pa which was not busy at the time. It only took me 2 minutes tops from when I finished filling in my information at the kiosk until the receptionist called me to take my information. I was taken back shortly after and all of the staff from the X-ray tech to the doctor came in one right after the other which was nice. I was in and out within an hour and on my way home with medications. I love the fact that I was able to get all of the meds I needed right there on location.

Called first to see if this For Profit establishment does Pregnancy Tests in which was confirmed by the morning representative. Upon arrival that notion became invalid with a very disrespectful & unprofessional front desk clerk. Wont return nor will we recommend this so called "Urgent Care" to anyone. They can perform this Pregnancy Test but they just want to collect the entire FEE as opposed to just performing a test. $109.00 Patient Visit + $39.99 Pregnancy Test. Their interests are not geared towards the Patients but rather theyre wallets.

I went in to Patient First today because I suspected that I had pink eye. I signed in using the touch screen portal... easy! Within 5 minutes of walking in the door, I was called back to register. Within another 5 minutes, a nurse called my name, measured my height, weighed me, took my temperature, and took my BP. I was seated in a room right after. After another 5 minutes, a Dr. was in seeing me and prescribing drops... easy! I went out to the check out room, paid for my Rx and was on my way. I am so thankful that I stopped here today!

I went in after a fall, diagnosis a broken big toe . Everyone that I came in contact with was wonderful, from the receptionist to the nurse, the Xray tech and finally to Evan The PAC. I was treated immediately with kindness, empathy and caring the whole visit. Evan the PAC was just wonderful and this was my first experience going to this type of urgent care. I was in and out, very happy with my treatment. No waiting all night at an emergency room, what a relief. Thank you Evan and all the staff at Patient First. Gail Schwartz

Id highly recommend using a different urgent care. This urgent care is truly the most incompetent medical service Ive encountered. Aside from the incorrect diagnosis and treatment - the insurance and billing was also incorrect. Its now been months of receiving repeat bills along with hours spent on the phone; simply due to their misunderstanding of my insurance and inability to operate a functioning office. Ive never posted a negative online review, nor have I ever had such dissatisfactiory service as at Paitent First.

Patient First in York Pennsylvania, the staff and most of the doctors are very friendly and courteous! I havent had a bad experience there except for tonight. We had Dr. Christopher Washington and my personal opinion is bedside manner is lacking and he is a very arrogant man! We actually spent more time filling up the car then he did even checking things out!I got the impression he feels like he really doesnt need to explain his findings , All in all if you take him out of the picture its an exceptional place!
