My experience has been much different than that of Christina and Kelsey. Perhaps expectations were not properly set with them at their initial appointment but I find that hard to believe. Yes one of the medications is for epilepsy, but it is the side effects of the medication that benefit you for weight loss which is it makes you somewhat disinterested in food and fuller more quickly. A simple google search on Topiramate shows it has been FDA approved for weight loss. I am on the program now and have lost 30 lbs so far and can say it works. Everyone responds to medication differently. I myself have an addictive personality and I would have no issues coming off the medication tomorrow if I wanted or needed to. There are side effects as with any medication and yes, the first few days you feel a bit high strung and foggy headed. But it evens out after a few days. And this isnt a program for people who want to lose a few pounds. They wont even set an appointment for you unless you are obese. It is for those who are obese and have struggled to lose weight as I have. There are no magic pills for anything in life. You still have to put in the work and rewire your brain and relationship with food to truly be successful. Dr. Tapia has been great through the process. He actually spends time with you during your appointment answering any questions you have and never feel like Im bring rushed out of the door.

I was prescribed Phentermine buy Dr Tapia over a year ago know the drug worked and I lost over 80 pounds with him I soon became addicted to the drugs he was prescribing me. Since entering recovery I thought it would be wise to go back to his office and kindly ask the time being not eligible for his weight loss program anymore. And telling him why I didnt want to be a part of his program anymore he got very defensive with me debating with me that the drug was not addictive obviously Im living proof that it is and one of his nurses seem to agree with me she said that they have had patience with their program for over 3 years she said it shows every sign that these patients are addicted to the drug that hes prescribing. Im not saying that youre going to get addicted to this drug but if you have an addictive personality but your chances are very likely. I know myself I wanted to take the easy way out and find that magic pill to solve all my problems unfortunately that magic pill cost me a lot problems in the long run. All I asked if youre reading this review look into the drug your about to take before spending $100 and medication thats going to get you high every month.

I saw Dr. Tapia one time and I wont be back. He prescribed me toprimate and phentermine. Ive taken phentermine before so I am familiar with that. The toprimate he only said would make me feel full. Ok, great!! In the late afternoon of day 2 I started feeling nauseous and uneasy, on the third day of taking the toprimate I was feeling nauseous, uneasy, faint, light headed, dopey with my thought process and very irritable. I googled toprimate and discovered that it is prescribed for epilepsy and seizures, a "side effect" is weight loss. In no way, shape, or form is this a weight loss medication. It is a medication that has been developed to alter someones brain and hes prescribing it to people who dont need it so they can lose a few pounds. Had he been up front with this information up front, I wouldve declined this. I cannot trust someone who isnt forth coming with me and has my best interest and health in heart.

I dont see Dr. Tapia for weight loss. He is my gynocologist. And all I can say is that he is kind, listens and always take time with me each visit. I have had a full hysterectomy so I have several issues to contend with and I am very happy with the care he provides.

I lost 40 pounds and learned how to eat healthy again! Dr Tapia has always been very nice and given allot of information so I can keep the weight off as well. Thanks to Dr Tapia and his team I feel like me again. :)

This man is a pedophile. When he performed my daughters rectal exam he grunted and smiled salaciously as he erected slowly. I never took my daughter back to this pedo.

Dr. Tapia and his team are awesome! They make you feel very comfortable. Most visits are extremely fast, and no waiting like you do at most doctors offices.
