Today I put to sleep my best friend Ginger. She was having difficulty walking with swollen legs and congestive heart failure. I rescued her as a starved puppy. She was a Pitbull/ Catahoula mix and I could not afford to take her to the vet. I came home every three hours and forced her to eat and drink. I carried her for the first month because she was too weak to stand. She turned into a beautiful 110 pound , loyal, best friend for 12 years. Most protective smart dog I ever had. I Struggled for three weeks to get the courage to not be selfish and let her go. I was able to have them come to my home quickly where she would not nervous. They were very gentle and talked softy to her. The procedure was pain free and quick for her. The experience was very peaceful and they showed great compassion toward my tears and heartache. They also charged so much less than other vets wanted. I am so thankful to the Dr and staff that I will never consider using any other vet. Took my dog and cat in at the same time for our first visit to this Dr. When I was at the light across the street I called the office to ask if someone could meet me at the front door to help me, since I was wrestling a dog, cat crate, and paper work. They said it would be no problem. No one came to help me when I arrived. Once inside it took the front desk almost 5 minutes to acknowledge me. (There was no one else at the counter.) Once in my exam room, the vet techs were annoyed that I asked them to trim my dogs nails. When the Dr. finally came in the room, he didnt introduce himself or shake my hand. He barely touched either animal and acted afraid of my dog. For the record my dog LOVES people. Seriously the Dr. was in the room for less than 5 minutes and failed to recognise a very visible issue on my dog. NEVER would I recommend this place.

Caring staff, have been to several vets in the area and Dr. OConnor is one of if not the best. Had a minor emergency one evening at 9:30, called the office thinking I"d get the number for the local emergency vet but was able to talk with Dr. OConnor and solve the problem. He always offers all possible options and when it is time to say goodbye he is very compassionate. And if that isnt enough the fees are reasonable as well.

I definitely recommend this wonderful veterinary hospital. After my longtime vet retired I was worried about finding a new place to take my furbabies. This has to be the best vets office in the area. Everyone is so kind and Dr. Flood was so amazing with my cats that when I brought them home they were still very relaxed and casual about having gone to the vets office.

I bring my dog "Bones" & cat "Lady Baby" there for everything from nail trimming to serious illnesses. His staff is so sweet and Dr. OConnor is very helpful in explaining everything to us. I have recommended his office to several people. I would not take my babies to anyone else. They even call me when my babies are not feeling well.

They are the most kind and caring people I have found. They dont just take care of your pets they are also there for you to. They understand that pets are part of the family. Dr . OConner takes the time to actually listen to you and help you make the best decisions for youre needs and budget. I wont go anywhere else.

This is one of the best vets I have ever been to He took great care of my dogs dental needs and was very affordable. After calling just about every vet in Ft Pierce and Port st lucie for prices he was very reasonable I left my regular vet and now Holy vet will be the only vet to touch my dogs.

Great vibes. They are sincere and gentle in their animal handling. My cat loved them and she does not like anybody! The name applies because they really treat your animal as their own family. Go there, even if its far. Your animal companion deserves quality. Peace and blessings.

Dr OConnor is a kind vet with a very calm demeanor, he relaxed my cat, gave her 3 shots and she didnt even flinch! Hes amazing with animals and will not perform tests unless he feels they are necessary. Highly recommend!
