STAY AWAY! Some of the vet assistants in this place are ignorant of what is going on with animals, or themselves. My dog almost gets double rabies shots because they are unorganized, they kept confusing my dog with another dog. They also set my up with an appointment for which i asked to be there early so i could just wait for my dog, to arrive there and be told that i needed to leave him there when the other assistant clearly told me it was not necessary. Follow by some obnoxious girl talking over me in a condescending tone so rude i never went back, not to mention that same girl a few days prior; while i was setting up my appointment was talking so loud while i was talking to the other girl, we both glanced with surprise. so very little professionalism, this place has no class nor customer service. The doctor is ok, he has no facial expression, no smile, and all i heard was we need to remove this and that and operate this IF this doesnt happen; in other words they only want your money. To close, the reason i took my dog there was for a skin condition, he was given the wrong medication, his condition was getting worse and worse, my poor baby was losing hair all over the place i was desperate. i decided to take him somewhere else and he got much better within a week, the new vet told me the medication he was provide with was to attack his condition when is located in one spot, when his condition is located in different parts of the body it is totally known that the medication is different or at least a good vet should know that. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Mendez, driving from Miami to Miramar because I have been extremely impressed by The doctor and all is his staff.Every time I have called I have been called back immediately and my questions and worries have been addressed right away . The staff is warm contrary to many other vet clinics where you feel there is no connection between patient and care givers. Not only that but Dr Mendez is extremely thorough .has already performed a C-section for one of my dogs,I was there during the procedure and was very impressed to see him during surgery. He and his assistants were methodical and extremely competent; his experience is undeniable. This is Why I drive all the way from Miami to go see him . My dogs are my family and I will always take them where they will get the best care. I highly recommend his clinic.

We have been going to Dr. Mendez for over 3 years now. He has been incredible. Cassie, his assistant is amazing. So helpful! The entire staff truly loves animals and they reflect that just by their willing to accommodate my dogs needs. Dr. Mendez has delivered over 3 litters of ours. He has saved our litter of puppies from Severe pneumonia.I can go on and on about how incredible Dr. Mendez and his staff is but as you can see with all the positive reviews. The people here are very nice and truly love animals. However I just cant spend 3 to 4 hours everytime I take my dog here. I have been here on 4 different occaisions, all with appointments, and that is the average time it took. I am not exaggerated at all. I now go to a different animal hospital which is much more efficient. I originally went here and stuck it out only becuase they had a contract with the place I bought my puppy and the initial visits were free.

Whoever does the fecal test needs to learn how to do a real one. The clinic claimed they did one and it came out negative. The following day as I was picking up after my dog, I not only picked up his poop but I got a handful of roundworms. The worse part was that I explained to them the exact symptoms of intestinal parasites but it somehow was still "negative". Be careful for clinics like these. They dont really care for your pup.

I have been taking my 2 dogs to this vet from day one! They truly love the animals. Their staff is friendly especially, Cassie! Dr. Mendez specialize in bulldogs and knows what he doing. He walk through and makes time to explain things. I highly recommend Quality Care Animal Hospital.

I have been bringing my Frenchie (MJ) to Quality Care ever since I adopted her 5 yrs ago. Dr. Mendez is a bulldog specialist and I know his advice is trusted. No complaints. Their prices are all reasonable...not that cost should ever be your concern. Great medical care for your pets.
