I have been going to TLC Veterinary Clinic for about 6 years now, with three different pets (two dogs and one cat). During those 6 years I have moved throughout the metro area and no matter where I lived, I remained going to TLC Veterinary Clinic, even if it was out of my way (Woodbury, Inver Grove Heights, downtown St. Paul, Prescott WI). My first dog ended up needing two knee surgeries and she was well taken care of at TLC Vet; I cant count the number of times I called, emailed or went in with questions and they always made time for us. I then rescued a cat...and have never owned cat before and they walked me through everything I needed to do for her. And with our newest dog, it was no question to take her to TLC Vet. We are so pleased with the service, how friendly the staff is and their knowledge, we always recommend TLC vet to those looking for service. Houstoun Clinch is our primary doctor, there has been one instance where he was out of the office and we saw Kathy Langness and I was equally happy with her care. Either doctor, you cant go wrong at TLC.

Im new to the area and I went here for the first time. My cats absolutely hate going to the vet, and I dont blame them. Coming to this clinic has been an entirely different experience for me. Bringing my cat to the clinic was NOTHING like I expected it to be. My cat was actually purring before we left the clinic. Dr. Clinch was wonderful and took the time to explain things and answer my questions. I was able to be with my cat as she was getting blood drawn, which wasnt as traumatic as I was expecting. As a matter of fact, the entire visit was absolutely wonderful and nothing like the traumatic visits that I am used to at other clinics. I would have never believed that my cat was purring in a vet clinic if I hadnt been there myself. I am definitely coming back to this clinic.

This Veterinary Hospital does an fair job with high priced technology and services. For example my re-check exam was $40.00 for coming back because by dog got sick after 20 hrs from the first visit, $60.00 for the heartworm blood test, $50.00 x 2 for 2 slides from an x-ray, and $75.00 to interpret the x-rays. The exam tables seem dirty with left-over debris and grass from other animals and both doctors did not wash hands at all from the beginning to the end of the exams even after rectal temperature reading. Please be careful for your animals sake and watch for cues of pushing products, which sometimes can lead to bigger problems.

New to the area I chose TLC because it had good ratings when I goggled Vet clinics near Oakdale. I was nervous to take my dog to a new vet, but had little choice. I have OFFICIALLY found a new vet! Dr Langness and ALL the staff were so exceptionally nice and caring, especially Emily. They answered all my questions. My dog is terrified of the vet, and she walked out of there on a loose leash and calm. NOT the way she walked in! Dr Langness was very laid back, and knowledgeable. Not the rush right into the most expensive procedure to make money kind of vet! Definitely recommend TLC, and I will be a return customer!

The staff and vets seem nice, but when I went to go pick up my kitten after surgery they handed me a bag with my paper work containing a syringe with no indication of the nature of the medication or how to administer it. I work in the human healthcare field and I have never seen such awful care in my whole entire life. Plus they charge an arm and a leg for everything. The surgery cost at least double what my sister and several other coworkers have paid. I would go somewhere else if at all else possible, unless you have lots of money to waste and dont mind horrible care.

The vet was great! I took one of my dogs in for the first time for an exam and will definitely bring my other dog there as well. waay better than banfield. they dont push to sell vaccines and meds, they tell you the options and dont force a welfare plan on you. for example if I went to banfield they would usually give the exam and then sell sell sell trying to make you get vaccines, meds, and tests you dont need. I definitely recommend this place after my one experience here versus my entire year with banfield. plus we got a complimentary nail trim! :)

Dr Clinch, Dr Langness and the staff have been caring for my dogs for more than 10 years, and I would not go anywhere else. It us critical to have as much trust in your veterinarian as you do your own physician and TLC creates that trust. They are not just my dogs healthcare providers oar excellence, I consider them my friends.

I love TLC, and of course Dr. Rhonda is what makes TLC TLC! They have taken care of my dog and horse for several years. My only complaint is they are not available over holidays and I had to find another vet during a weekend emergency. I understand that they are a small clinic though, you can only spread yourself so thin.

We love this clinic - we moved away to Hastings but still make the drive to see Dr. Clinch or Dr. Langness when we need to bring our dogs in. Very friendly and helpful staff, everybody we have worked with there is great!
