My little dog recently had a fall. I brought her in and was met by a tech who took her to the back exam room. I was very upset and the receptionist directed me to a quiet corner so I could calm myself. After a bit the Vet brought her out and we discussed pain meds. I left and then got a call early the next morning. She needed to go back in for xrays. I took her in and the doctor discussed them with me. I was still shaken from the event. The entire staff was very comforting and very professional. The techs all love my dog and are ready to answer any questions I have. The good doctor, though very young, reassured me, comforted me and taught me how to care for her at this time of stress, He called again a few days later and then a week later. WOW such professionalism and caring over and above what was required.. I am so grateful to have found this office and our vet, Dr. John Clappier, especially. He is wise beyond his years. I really like how he approaches any subject I bring up. He has taught me many things and I always know my dog will get the care she needs. When I go to Hudson Road Animal Hospital, it is like visiting good friends. Very welcoming, very professional and ready to meet you and your pets needs. I am blest to have found them!

What a wonderful clinic! Unfortunately our first visit was our last for our pup. Our dog was 14 and very very sick. We knew that day that we had to put her down. After calling our vet clinic we had been going to for 14 years with our dog, we were told there were no appointments available. This was incredibly disappointing, as our hearts were already breaking knowing that this would be the last day with our dog. In an act of desperation, we called Hudson Road Animal Hospital and even though they had never seen our dog, they welcomed us with open arms. The vet assistant Kacy was warm and kind and explained everything to our family. Dr. Fletcher was amazing with our two kids and knew just the right words to comfort them. It was so so sad to say goodbye to our dog, but this group of professionals handled the situation with such grace. Thank you, thank you to the loving doctors and staff. A week after saying goodbye we got a card signed by every person that works at Hudson Road Animal Hospital with even more kind words and thoughts. If we make the decision to get another dog in the future, we will not hesitate to establish care here.

After my son posted a review, I thought I would post one too for better perspective...Hudson Road Hospital, a vet that my family has been going to for over 40 years (since I was 7) and the owners father was my principle at Woodbury High School, but I digress...after taking our cat in because something was wrong, but they said everything was normal, after about a month and the cat getting worse we brought her in just to find out that "they tried to contact us" and that she was very sick...it took my sons review for them to come to us about what we can do from here, and after paying for an ultr sound and a surgery the next day our cat died In short: dont take your animals here, they kill them, after they charge you for stuff that only makes the situation worse oh and dont claim you have no record of our dedication over the years and trust should have known things werent right there when you botched putting my dog dodger down. I would only trust HRAHs doctor and staff with my dog. They are professional, personable, kind, and they will remember you and your dogs name. They work with you, and all the doctors are very informative and thorough. Dr. Fletcher is my dogs vet and she is extremely thorough and takes the time to give me education and she is very kind to my dog too. She obviously respects him too. If Dr. Fletcher is not available, I can go to see any of the doctors and they will be aware of what is going on in his case and they seem that they actively work with the other vets there and they will communicate well. My dog has seen all the vets there and they are all great. Dr. John is fantastic with knowing a lot about pain, joints, and he is very patient with us neurotic dog moms. ;-) My dog is so comfortable there and he trusts everyone there. Their boarding and daycare is the best in town and very affordable. Grooming is excellent and my dog has been groomed by both groomers and its always been excellent and a great price. They are the best!!

I recently moved to Minnesota from Southern California and was sure I would not be able to find a vet that I liked as well as the one I had in California. Well, I was wrong! Hudson Road Animal Hospital is really great. Everytime I take one of my 3 dogs to see a doctor there they are so kind and professional. Each dr. I have seen (Westfall and Beck) has taken their time with me and listened to my concerns. The techs have been some of the best I have ever worked with and the front office staff is so friendly and welcoming. Ive had one dog groomed there so far and was very happy with the groomer. Next week one of my other dogs is going in for grooming. And I will be using their boarding facility soon as well. I also always look forward to "talking" with the pet pigeon in the office. Such a cutie! I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. Update: Now it is two years later and I still highly recommend this clinic. Excellent doctors and techs. I wont take my dogs anywhere else.

After bringing both of my cats to them about a month ago, I assumed that they were both healthy, I was very WRONG...recently brought 1 of the cats back because she stopped eating/drinking the past few days, and when we got there we were informed that the cats had worms the last time we were there and they "tried to call us" but we never heard anything from them (didnt even send a letter, which they have done in the past for "check-ups")...now, because the my cat has been infected for so long, she might need a transfusion because she wont eat...after going to them for over 2 decades, I hate to say that they are not just irresponsible, but make me also feel like they they are only interested in their next paycheck, not my pets (which is why they were so quick to mention the need for a blood transfusion)

Do not board your dog here! We left our dog with them for 1.5 days and when we got him back we realized that they had not fed him nearly enough (either they just missed a meal time or two or they werent giving him the amount of food we told them to) and we left a bag of toys/treats with them to give him and we can tell that they just didnt give him the bag. I will never trust them with our dog for boarding again. We have gone to them several times for vet care now for our dog and cat and have really liked them until now, which is upsetting. We believe different people run the boarding so we will likely come back for vet care but never again to board our dog.
