I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Petit Smiles, and cant imagine a better pediatric dentist practice ANYWHERE. My almost 3-year-old boy had already developed cavities in 10 teeth (genetics playing a big part, my fear of fluoride toothpaste another). Dr. Vanessa was a miracle worker with him, since he can get pretty clingy and shy. She filled all cavities, including several right next to the nerve without any numbing or anesthesia--amazing! From the first day in the waiting room, he was mesmerized by the toys and elaborate train table. Then Dr. Vanessa came out to say hi and give him a hug. Once we went inside, he got to pick what cartoon he wanted on iTunes while she would explain what she was doing in fun kid terms: drill=airplane, fillings=stars, cavities=buggies. All the while she and assistant Monica worked on him, they would keep him entertained by commenting on whatever he was watching on TV and talking to him about his interests, mainly dinosaurs. He was calm and happy during every visit, which totaled 5. Dr. Vanessa knew that he would not be able to do all cavities at once without anesthesia at a hospital. Since that was not an option for me, we broke our visits up, and my son actually looked forward to each, like he was going to a party. At the end of each visit, he would get balloons and toys from the treasure chest. And the team was so sweet and encouraging to both of us. I saw a horrible report on TV about pediatric dentists who dont allow parents in the room, and how kids are basically tortured and overworked for insurance money. This was the complete opposite. I was there the whole time, and Dr. Vanessa spent a lot of time with me afterwards, explaining fully, printing out x-rays so we could explain to skeptical grandparents, and just having nice conversation. Dr. Vanessa creates an environment where kids are relaxed and distracted, and as a result, feel no pain. All of this, plus, shes just a highly qualified, meticulous dentist. Id recommend Petit Smiles to any parent. Dont look anywhere else.

Let me begin with the positives. Clean, modern office, and the office staff is courteous and child friendly. Now for the bad. Although my son does have dental insurance, the office didnt accept it. First visit was an emergency, so I took him there anyway since the dentist was referred by a friend. Over Six hundred dollars later , the dentist pulled his tooth and that seemed to solve the problem. Against my better judgment we decided to return for a routine cleaning and cavity. I informed the dentist I was on a budget and just wanted the necessities at this time. A few x-rays, a cleaning & 1 cavity filled cost a whopping $630!!!! When the dentist said " If he were my child this is what I would do" I should have walked out right than and there. If you have insurance they accept, you will probably be satisfied here. If not insured I suggest you be very cautious.

Office is nice. Lots of entertainment for kids in waiting room. Often time there is not enough sitting room. I feel compelled to point out one very negative experience. Dentist did routine cleaning on my child and said "I want to add local anesthesia to avoid sensitivity". We said "OK". Some drops were applied manually from a tube. Upon completion we went to the front desk. Turns out the cleaning was free (under our insurance) but we got stiffed with a $300 bill for the anesthesia! After feeling the sticker shock and raising it with the front desk they would not budge. Certainly this is emblematic of our health care system. But the dentist should know better. Shame on her....

What a wonderful place!! Staff is very corteous and friendly. My kids were amazed with the fishes tank and all the entertainment that were there to enjoy while waiting. We didnt wait at all. Dr. Sabrina was very kind to my son and myself. 1st visit was an awesome experience. Sara did a great job doing the theeth cleaning. She was very friendly. I loved the place. It was very clean. My son got lots of gifts for the first time visit. He was very happy and very comfortable. Taking my second kid to the office next week. Will stay with them! What a great found! Thank you!!

Dr. Vanessa is AMAZING! She is a true child whisperer......my two boys, ages 6 and 8, have seen her for the past 3 years. They actually look forward to visiting Dr.Vanessas office, partly to see her and partly to leave with a cool toy. :) I am grateful to have found a pediatric dentist that makes a trip to the dentist a positive experience for both my children and myself. The office is brand new, beautifully decorated, always spotless and filled with kind, efficient staff members.

My grandchildren Roberto Carlos and Natalia love to go to the dentist, they get pampered the minute they walk in to the door! Dr Vanessa and their staff are extremely professional! My grandchildren at the end of the visit get toys , balloons , stickers and much more!!! They dont want to leave the office! They love their experience and can wait to come back for there next cleaning!!! Love it!

Worst experience ever...thanks God I got a second opinion!!!!! My two girls have a treatment here and both has problems after and the second opinion in two other doctors says that that treatments were no necessary!!!!! Aaaand was a very very expensive innesesary treatment that finish in a very huge problem!!! Not recommend!!! And no very kind doctors and nurses!!!!

Loooooooooove Petit Smiles, but not more than my son. He cant wait to go back and brushed his teeth twice after he got home. Dr. Vanessa, Cristina and Arlyn were all awesome! I wish they took adults as patients too. ;) So happy I found a dentist I can trust to care for his teeth, taking into account my sons sensory issues due to autism. <3

Both my 11 years old son and 3 years old daughter go to Petit Smiles, and they LOVE it!!!! The staff is extremely kind, patient and caring! They love the environment and the toys they can get at the end! Ive never seen anyone super excited to go to the dentist, but they are!!! It certainly makes my life much easier!
