I start off with the dental staff is compentent and friend, although the prices are a bit expensive. My issue is with the front desk and so believe you are only as good as your weakest link. I went to their office last year for a deep cleaning, after which I asked about a mouth guard and if my insurance will cover it. They told me well look into it and get back to me later that week. 2nd and 3rd visit, I ask the same question and get the same reply. For my 4th visit (cause Im busy and didnt put the effort to book elsewhere) I had to cancel my appointment on 7/18 due to work, so I attempt to through their text confirmation service on the 10th. Come the 15th I get another confirmation text, so I call in. I speak with someone to cancel the appointment. Later that day I get another call confirming my appointment on the 18th!?! I go through the process again and book for the 24th. I arrive for my appointment on the 24th and Im told thats theres no appointment, that I cancelled the appointment on the 24th. So then I ask about the mouth guard and get the same well look into it. Im not going back and will find a different dentist.

Wonderfully friendly care- from the lady at the desk to the lady who cleaned my teeth, to the dentist. Caring for the discomfort I may have been in. Also, the financial help was awesome! I walk in and Rosa came out of the back, greeting me and asking if I was Janet(which I am). I filled out the paperwork paperlessly on the computer- much easier than messing with paper and pen! I was then brought to the back where I was to get my X-rays, which Mandy took care of. Then Dr. Wong came and spoke with me, she was very nice and checked things out as a dentist ought to. Then I decided to get my teeth cleaned as well- which Mandy once again took care off. She was very aware of the discomfort that I was in, and continually made sure I was alright, for both the X-rays and cleaning. We then made an appointment to remove 2 of my wisdom teeth, by Dr. Wong. Rosa helped me with getting a good deal; again, the financial help was great! I remember all their names- which never happens in 1.5 hours- least with my memory!

Dr. Huang, is an amazing Dr. I had a bottom tooth that had a root canal from a former dentist. It broke to the gum. I was in so much pain and very scared. I called and talked to Dr. Huang. She got me in right away. I also had a root canal done by a former Dr. on the tooth beside it and implants in the back. She took the ex-ray and decided there was nothing we could do to save the tooth. I cried and her and her staff comforted me. You see I have a great fear of dentist. So as she started to remove the tooth, she was talking to me all the time keeping me calm. She has a gentle touch where it didnt even distrub the other tooth (which sometimes can happen when the took next to it has no root). I recommend to ALL dentist fearers, lol, to make your appointments with her or her team. The office has such a peace and calmness about it.

Ever feel like you are being taken advantage of at the dentist? That feeling drove me to get a second opinion from LDM, and I am so glad that I did! I know my teeth arent in the best shape, but the dentists here arent here to shame you for it, they genuinely want to see your condition improve. When you have work done from dentists that are proud of their work, the confidence radiates to the customer. I felt so at ease during my cleaning they could have done a root canal with no anesthetic and I wouldnt have batted an eye. Another important note is the high level of technology in their operation; very modern x-rays and imaging. They can take pictures and show them to you on-the-fly so you are not in the dark of whats going on. For the first time in a decade I felt great walking out of the dentist office and that says a lot.

Great place, very modern, and detailed oriented. Coming here was like wearing glasses for the first time because they told me everything they were going to do and also everything they saw in my mouth. I didnt even know I had 2 fillings done before coming here, guess my old dentist never tells me anything... I like everything they offer and what the business itself stands for. Theyre a green business, which is great, theres free stuff in the waiting room and they even pay for my street parking (just give them your license plate number and the parking zone number). I will and have referral everyone I know to LMD. P.S. My doctor is Dr. Soriano and the hygienist that worked on me was Dana, both are gentle in my mouth and are always happy to see their patients.

Dr. Huang is an angel! She goes above and beyond for her patients. She really cares about her patients and their teeth. I needed my wisdom tooth pulled and was in pain. She and her team explained the process of how things were going to go. Dr. Huang and some staff stayed after 6 to pull my wisdom tooth due to Dr. Huang bring booked for two weeks. When she finally pulled my first tooth she explained why it was so hard to get out and showed it to me. During the procedure I felt some pain. And explained I felt some pain. She shot me right up and it was painless after. After the whole procedure, she and her team explained more about after care. I really had the best experience ever here. Thank you Dr Huang! Your amazing as well as your staff.

I must admit its self serving to review my own business, but honestly, I love it here and I deserve as much as any of our patients to review us. I do my best to provide our patients with the most high tech, eco-friendly, and community oriented experience possible in a dental office, and I think it truly shows in our patients feedback, enthusiasm, and encouragement of our work. Our staff are so dedicated to our patients wellbeing that I often find them going out of their way to curtail problems before they arise, or reach out just to make sure patients are doing great. I thoroughly enjoying being in this dental office day in and day out, and I believe you will as well.

I had all my wisdom teeth pulled out here. The dentist did an extremely good job. All my four wisdom teeth were out in 30 minutes total, and no infection whatsoever! It was a pretty amazing experience. This dental office has been my go-to place to have my teeth taken care of ever since I moved to the area. The doctors there are extremely gentle, professional, and they really take care of your needs, and the staff there also are very friendly and considerate. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who needs dental care.

I chose this as my dentist because of the good reviews, and after my first appointment with Dr. Spundae and all the staff I dealt with I was not disappointed. I was a few minutes late due to the parking situation (downtown Oakland midday on a Wed.) but was seen right away. I have a pretty big fear of the dentist because Im a human being, but theyre really nice and I felt as comfortable as I couldve given the circumstances. Ive got to go back soon but at least now I wont be living in fear until my next appointment.
