My dog died while under their care, He went in for a simple neutering. They said he would be fine and I trusted them with him. He was taken at 6am and did not get taken care of for hours. Could you imagine how much anxiety he went through. His heart stopped prior to starting surgery . I was NEVER informed of the dangers and never given an option to have him get pre-surgical blood workup. They tell me I should have requested it. How would I have known to ask. I am devasted and can only imagine what my 4 lb Chiiwhawha wentt through. I found him with an IV in his neckj/, blue thighs from where they tried to put IV in.. I have no answers yet , I am still waiting for them.

YGF used to be a fantastic clinic, but when Dr. Adkins bought it he discredited all of the hard work of the caring vets before him. Dr. Adkins’ greed disguised as generosity has forced my family and I to find pet care elsewhere. He refused to sign prescriptions for my dogs unless I bought them through him (over $300 worth of medication) and then called me to tell me he “forgot” to sign the scripts. When confronted about his lie, he held out his hand and said, “You can slap me if you want.” I have never felt so disrespected by a professional. He does not care about the well-being of your pets as much as he cares about making money. Please, do not support his greed.

The vet diagnosed my dog with gas, then after no improvement pancreatitis. Mind you she hasnt eaten or drank voluntarily for seven days. I willingly followed this mans orders and was not only watching my best friend of 7 years die...but was assisting her misery. I rushed her to another office and she was immediately put under in a attempt to remove the bowel blockage I was assured "wasnt there"! The supporting office staff was very friendly and compassionate until I called to report her progress. The response was "O.K."...really? Im 500 in the hole and my dog MAY STILL DIE due to your negligent and lazy diagnosis, and I get am O.K.?

EXTREMELY rude. After waiting over an hour to have my dog fixed, him not eating for over 12 hours. Finally they told me they cannot fix my dog. Wanted my Mastiff fixed as well, they told me they do not have a table big enough to accommodate her size, yet during my visit, there was a larger, Great Dane there to be fixed. Why are people so rude? I just want to have my dogs fixed at an affordable price and be treated with respect. I would rather pay twice as much to be treated better than this. Even if you dont like me, you claim to be a vet and yet you completely disrepected my dogs.

Dr Adkins is a very knowledgeable vet and also very conscientious of my budget. I have 2 cats and 2 shih tzus that have seen him in the last month. The staff is very friendly and the wait time is minimal. The Doctor that the previous reviews were talking about is no longer with them. Dr Adkins has the best bedside manner of any vet I have ever gone to. I highly recommend this office and hope that the next vet will be following in his footsteps. Thank you for affordable vet costs.

Worst veterinary office I have ever been to. The staff and the doctor are incompetent. The doctor killed my friends pet, then we found out he has been charged and convicted of animal abuse in Jacksonville Fl. Be careful if you go here. The doctors name is Lawrence Wallace. Look up and search his name and see for yourself.

I used to bring my animals here until my last visit. They have a new vet, whom i dont care for. Theyre prices went up on a lot of stuff. They used to be low cost but i dont think so any more. Now i just use them for rabies shots since those are still cheap.

Very cost effective treatment. The wait time was a little long even though I made an appointment. However they treated my dog and allowed me to come back later to get his meds after I wanted to wait a while. Overall a decent experience. I will be going back

They have been so awesome with me and my pup she was exposed to parvo but luckly she didnt catch it but the staff answered all my questions before n after i took her and ive changed my appointments a bunch of times and they have bedn absolutely amazing!!!

Knowledgeable staff, no frills vet clinic. I have taken several animals here for shots and spay neuter services. Waiting room is very small. Do yourself a favor and crate all cats and smaller dogs. It will make the wait a little more comfortable.

Showing some love to this sister location, I stopped by here on my way up to Gainsville to pick up some flea meds. Just like my home location I love the staff here too. I felt welcomed and the prices were the same at their sister location.
