Drove about an hour to take a friend for "surgery" on a Tuesday. We were told they couldnt do it that day because the surgeon for that day wasnt capable of doing the surgery. They had such faith in their colleagues. It was rescheduled for Friday. We were told they would call on Thursday and let us know what time to be there. Skip to Thursday. No one called. My friend waited most of the day and finally called them. The person that answered offered no explanation for why they hadnt called. When asked about the surgery, they simply said "Friday at 11". We load up and took the hour long drive yet again. We got there about 45 mins early because they didnt verify whether or not her surgery was at 11 or if we needed to be there at 11. They FINALLY took her back for prep at about 1:30 after calling in multiple people that arrived after we did. They called me back to talk with the surgeon. I was assured by 3 people that the surgery would take 30-45 mins. They took her to surgery" at 2:15. The doc showed up at 3:45 - an hour and a half later - to tell me how surgery went. Said it would be another 20 mins and we could leave. A little over 45 mins later, I was called back to sign papers. We left the parking lot a few minutes before 5. Every other patient and most of the staff in the building had already left. I wouldnt recommend this place unless you have about $40 worth of gas you need to get rid of and a full day youre dying to waste.

I need to update my post for my experience the past week with mid tn bone and joint. I was very dissatisfied with trying to get assistance with moving an appointment up because of very bad back pain. I have been a patient of Dr. Wilburn for a good while and you would think you would be able to get in an appointment sooner than 2 or 3 weeks away for a major issue. I would hate to see how this would work in the event of an emergency needing urgent attention. They set up an appointment I know I cannot keep and when I called them back to change back to the same time slot I had before they said they had already filled that appointment and the office could to change it to a date even further out than the one I had before. Probably will be changing to a different doctor with a more personal touch that cares more about the patient when they need to be seen sooner than 3 or 4 weeks away after this experience with the office. This is my second bad experience with mid tn bone and joint in the past year. The previous was at ortho quick clinic when I tried to see a doctor for severe shoulder pain after driving many miles to be seen only to be turned away and told to go to the ER at Maury Regional. That is expensive and insurance frowns upon that too. I ended up going to a local walk-in clinic for my problem.

Im not sure how I feel about MTB&J at this point. The people have all been friendly enough, however 4 months of seeing Dr. Wilburn and Im still in pain (although not as much as when I started going, but Im pretty sure that has more to do with the time passing than anything done at the clinic). My first PT order stated for "Lumbar Strain" (strained muscle) now the paperwork states "Radiculopathy" (pinched/compressed nerve). Ive said from the very beginning the pain was in the bone, both coccyx and sacroiliac region, but so far the recommendations have been "keep taking the pills and doing the PT exercises" which havent helped AT ALL. Got an SIJoint shot which only lasted 4-5 days of MINOR relief. Decided to take the issue into my own hands when, at my last appointment I was told "6 more weeks of what youve been doing", and requested chiropractic since nothing else is working. Ill have been out on medical leave at a fraction of my pay for 3 months by the time I see Dr. Wilburn again and its financially killing us. I need an ACTUAL CONFIRMED diagnosis and treatment so I can get back to work! Frustrated.

I had an appt here as a new patient referred by my primary doctor. 30 mins before my appt I had to call the bank and cancel my cards due to fraud charges on my acct. They refused to see me without having the $45 co-pay on what was likely a $1,000+ visit and would not bill me. Then they told me that I could run to the bank and get the $45 and I could still be seen. Except that wasnt true as I walked down stairs and called them to tell them I was and was told I would have to get a new appt. I called my primary office and had them set an appt with a place in spring hill. No wait right in at that office. I understand I am sure they have people that do not pay their bills but that $45 isnt breaking their profit and especially with circumstances like that they should be caring enough to bill someone to help them when they are in a lot of pain. I am not going to accept any appointment at this office again.

I WENT TO SEE DR. WADE OCTOBER 2016 WAS IN SEVERE PAIN I HAVE OSTEOATHRITIS PROGRESSIVE IDIOPATHIC POLY NEUROAPATHY BROKEN LEFT GREAT TOE WITH FRAGMENTS ASEPTIC NECROSIS WITH SUBCONDRIAL COLLAPSE RIGHT HIP. HE TOLD ME I NEEDED HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY. I AGREE ANYWAY THEY SCHEDULED SURGERY BUT SENT ME HOME IN SEVERE PAIN I COULD NOT MAKE MY SELF GO THRU MAJOR SURGERY WITHOUT KNOWING MY PAIN WOULD BE ADDRESSED AND TAKEN CARE OF PROPERLY SAME GOES FOR MAURY REGIONAL WHERE THE SURGERY WAS TO BE PERFORMED I WENT BY THE E.R. IN SEVERE PAIN I WAS TREATED I A VERY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING MANNER TOLD TO MOVE ALONG AND SENT HOME AGAIN IN SEVERE PAIN.MY PHYSICAL PAIN YOUR FINANCIAL LOSS I BELIEVE YOU COULD AND SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER A VERY DISILLUSIONED PATIENT. !!

I havent even had my surgery yet and I got a letter from the doctors side giving me the deposit amount about 4 weeks out. I glade they sent it out and gave me a heads up. But the surgery side said they would call me a day before the surgery date and tell me my portion. Really how can you be prepared to go out on leave and come up with an amount the day before. That needs to change.

Fraudulent prices. Charging $350 for a brace that is $30 on amazon. My insurance was wise enough, to not pay...but, I get stuck with the bill. Shameful practice of shuffling lost income and taking advantage of their unsupecting patients. Forcing medically unnecessary medical equipment onto patients, is bad practice, and fraudulent if you have government based insurance.

The doctors there are amazing. Its the rest of their staff that is incompetent and rude. They made me feel like a criminal. I have had severl procedures done by Dr. Wade and Dr. Adams. They are both amazing. I wish they worked somewhere else. I will NEVER return to this office. Not as long as they keep the office staff they have.

My fiance had a spider bite and they done his surgery and then sent him home with dressing and a low dose of pain medication. When I call I get out on hold for a dame hour and we are paying out of pocket!!!! BS!!!
