I strongly recommend Dr. Pontell and The Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery Center, Inc., in Wayne, PA. From my initial consultation through follow-up visits, Dr. Pontell and his staff provided compassionate and personalized care, individually tailored to correct my not only prominent, but atypically pointed ears. For several years prior to my procedure, I struggled with the decision to undergo an otoplasty and vetted a few cosmetic surgeons. After meeting with Dr. Pontell and reviewing his digitally-altered photos reflecting my anticipated post-operative appearance, I, with little hesitation, elected an otoplasty under local anesthesia. My procedure was relatively painless, and my post-operative pain was well-managed with mild opiates, which I only required during the first 48 hours following surgery. On the evening of my procedure, Dr. Pontell even personally called me to confirm that I was healing smoothly. Dr. Pontells spa-esque environment -- in refreshing contrast to a typical physicians office-- created a calming ambiance during surgery. Additionally, Dr. Pontell and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate my scheduling needs. Although I live in walking distance to their office, I practice law in Philadelphia and, at times, required appointments outside of typical business hours. Dr. Pontell kindly arranged my pre and post-operative visits around my busy work schedule. I could not be more satisfied with the results of my April 2016 otoplasty. If youre considering a head or neck cosmetic procedure, but live a considerable distance from Wane, PA, Dr. Pontells services are well-worth a trip to the Philadelphia suburbs. Thank you, again, to Dr. Pontell and his support staff for their phenomenal work.

I waited a whole year to see my final results from my rhinoplasty to leave my overall review with my experience with Dr. Pontell. Over all the surgery itself was a breeze! I was very pleased with how quickly everything was set up and how little pain or bruising I experienced during recovery. I was not happy with how rushed the entire environment is in his office though. I always feel like I am asking too many questions, and that he already has a preconceived idea of what he wants to do before hearing my input. He was not there after surgery to talk to me either which was very uncomforting. My breathing was also extremely altered and I had to go back for a revision 8 months later because I could not breathe on one side. He did fix it for free, but it was still another surgery I had to sit through and to this day my breathing is worse than it was before my nose job. I also recently went in for lip fillers and was put off by how little information he provided in regards to the different types of fillers. He didnt seem to care much for my opinion and like I said before, acted like he already knew what I wanted. Its been enough time now for the swelling to go down and one half of my lip is extremely disproportionate and actually painful from how my filler is in it. I wanted to like this place so badly but I am going to explore others options at this point.

My experience with Dr Pontells practice was extraordinary to say the least. He was very helpful and informative every step of the way. From the original consultation to the post surgery check ups, he always maintained the same professionalism and patience to answer all my questions. I did a lot of research on different surgeons in the area, and I could not be happier with my choice to go with Dr Pontell. The results turned out better than I imagined! The procedures were reasonably priced and well planned out. He accomadated several pre-surgery appointments so we could be sure I was getting what I wanted. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered them with all the information I needed. He settled every worry I had. His staff was great as well, keeping me informed and steadily reminding me of what needed to be done to prepare for surgery. To anyone looking to get any kind of facial surgery, I would highly recommend Dr Pontell and his staff.

Dr. Pontell was my first experience with any type of comsmetic surgery. I chose Dr. Pontell after much research on the doctors in our area. The reviews were all positive, and his record impecible. From the first visit to the last Dr. Pontell and his staff always made me feel comfortable and assured me that I was in good hands. If I were to have another procedure in the future I would certainly return to Dr. Pontell. It was so nice to feel as though they really cared. The follow up calls and regular check-in calls were more than I would have expected, and the doctor is available 24/7 should there be any concerns regarding your procedure. The office stafff was both helpful and always available to answer non-medical questions during office hours, and to help in the prep work prior to any procedure. What more can I say... these folks are awesome.

I had a rhinoplasty done with Dr Pontell. My experience with Dr Pontell was beyond my expectations. He was excellent! Very professional and very understanding to all my needs. He answered all my questions both in the office and over the phone from the time of my consultation all the way to after my surgery. My nose job with him was amazing! His work is excellent and very natural which is what I wanted just before my wedding. My wedding is in two months and many of my friends and family have not even noticed my nose job because it is that natural looking. He removed the bump in my nose and I feel so much confident than I ever have my whole life and I know this will only keep increasing. I cannot wait for my wedding and not being afraid for pictures that day of all angles of my face!

Had Blepharoplasty surgery (upper and lower). Had lower 5 years previous with a different surgeon, but that surgeon apparently did not do it well since my eye bags returned just as bad. That surgeon also did not have as good follow-up care. Doctor Pontell saw me every few days after the surgery for the three weeks after surgery. He prescribed various ointments and eye drops as we went through recovery. He also showed me different massage techniques to expedite recovery. Two weeks after surgery, I was able to go out and no one was able to detect any signs of the surgery, except a few told me your looking good. For me recovery was painless. There was some darkness around the eyes for the first 10 days or so only. That was obvious to some who saw it.

Dr. Pontell is an artist. Before my consultation, I didnt think any plastic surgeon could satisfy my obsessive attention to detail. However, after I met with him, I was very optimistic I found the right doctor for my rhinoplasty. Dr. Pontells education, years of experience, exceptional bedside manner, gorgeous office which he designed personally, friendly and helpful staff, glowing reviews, and the fact he only performs facial plastic surgery all lead me to move forward with him as my surgeon. Im eight weeks post-op and elated with my new appearance. Dr. Pontell continues to exceed my already high expectations every step along the way during this process.

When I turned 55 i noticed the sagging skin in my neck area and it really started to bother me. After a couple years, I decided to definitely do something about it. I went to Dr. Pontell and we decided on a mini face lift. I am so happy with the results and so glad that Dr. Pontell was the one to do my surgery. He truly is the best and I recommend him highly. He is always available for any questions or concerns you may have. If you are like me and considering this surgery I say go for it . You will be so happy you did.
